It's the end of a very long day for me, so I'm probably missing something here. But, it looks like your tool only finds one URL for each keyword and tells you the rank for that one URL... what about all the other URLs, some of which may be positioned higher in google?

Also, I see that several of the -1 and 0 page rank keywords are from google, yahoo answers, ehow and ezine articles... all of which tend to have high PR and position on page 1 consistently. So, why do they show up with no PR, and would we really be able to rank better than those pages?

Hi - the software finds all of the URLs on the front page of Google for the keyword (or more if you set it higher). Once the csv file is in excel or openoffice it lists the URLs by rank.

The ezine, yahoo URLs shown in the video are all URLs without any PageRank. Agreed these are hard to rank above straight off the bat - hence the Silverlist feature.

I usually put these URLs into the Silverlist file when then gives them a much higher PR - this helps when I sort the PR from smallest to largest so only URLs from non-authority sites are shown and I can easily determine whether the keyword is easy to target.

Saying that - anyone who wants me to test a keyword or niche, fire me a PM and I'll send you back a csv file with results.

Austin.

Austin, do you provide complete instructions with the software? It would help to know all the features... such as "silverlist" - which wasn't mentioned in the video that I noticed.

Urrrrm just wondering as it wasn't completely clear from your sales pages or title.

Is this software to get backlinks or to discover keyphrases from the list you plug in to it if they are easy to dominate and get top rankings based on PR from a glance?

If its the second one then ive seen some sites with a high PR yet with only a few high pr backlinks pointing to them as pr is really no indication of competition.

Yep, agreed in some cases but I find in general the PR of the URLs on the front page does give a fair estimation of the competition.

I use the software mainly to uncover gaps in the front page - if there are URLs that have no PR or PR 0 then it's safe to assume that with a domain (or a page on a high authority site) that I will be able to rank above them.
