Your product rocks! Would you mind sharing how you made the videos with cool backgrounds? What kind of camera did you use? Sure doesn't look like a "flip" camera. LOL

Heck, if you put together a WSO on how you put this whole DVD project together I'd buy it immediately!

Thanks for your kind words.

As you surmised, the background in the video is not real.

It's what's known in the game as a virtual set . . . all the same as the map that appears behind the presenter during the weather section of your TV news every night.

It involves the use of a process called chromakey which means shooting in front of a green screen (literally) and then digitally replacing the green background with a virtual set.

The camera I used was a Sony HVR-Z1U which shoots 1080i HDV.

The mic was a Rode NT1-A connected to the camera via XLR cable (XLR connections make a HUGE difference to your audio quality).

I used Sony Vegas 7.0 to edit the project, and DVD Architect to author the 2 DVDs.

Graphics were done with Powerpoint and Ovation. And of course Camtasia for the computer screen captures.

I'm glad you like the final result (you're not the only one . . . I've had numerous questions about how I achieved that result from the video community).
