Just a quick post to say that Marks strategy is working amazingly well for me! I registered a domain name and went for 3 very low competition keywords. I setup a wordpress blog yesterday and put the keywords through the strategy. This evening, I've checked on Google and one keyword is on the first page! (at the bottom, but still 1st page!). The other 2 keywords are on page 3 of the results! (it is very low competition mind you)

I'm well impressed and have a few extra things of my own to do to get it higher but if you are considering getting the ebook, then 100% go for it.

Just checked my rankings and they've fallen off Google. I guess it is a great way to get indexed very fast. My listings may reappear in a few days time? I guess I just need to build up links and content etc. Good learning this.

That is called the Google dance and is completeley normal.

What happens is, after Backlinking...whether using my methods or someone else's, you will see movement. What happens quite a bit is that once you appear on the first page, you will stay there for a few days, then dissapear for a few days. Usually where you first appear is where you will come back in my experience

This happens with new sites. It is just the nature of the beast but if you show up on at a good spot on page 1, that usually means Google likes you

I don't really have a limit. I analyze the competition on the first page. Competition in quotes is a really inaccurate way of analyzing your competition...and most SEO experts will agree

Definitely a great weapon in your backlinking arsenal to have. Simple but could be very effective. Makes good use of time, content, and resources. This isn't just a short term tactic, either. It could be used for long term results which is a big plus to me.

However if you appreciate information you can use right now given to you by someone who comes across as an old friend and without any time spent trying to justify what he has done than this is what you have been looking for.

In addition I sent a PM to Mark on Sunday and received an answer within hours. So he knows how to take care of customers even when the price he has charged for this package is certainly not going to cover his time spent answering questions.

Good stuff presented in a refreshing manner and at a price aimed at the folks who need this information the most.

I haven't though about it. I just did what he said in the package and found some really good labor using the resource he suggested. I actually have 2 people doing 500 links each for me so I would advise just doing what he says in his submission guide

I didn't have the System together when I launched that site. That doesn't mean that I didn't use the sites mentioned or individual components of the system.

And the example is only one of my sites. I have a lot of niche sites that rank well due to what I have taught in the course.

Feel free to scroll page after page of feedback and see if I am about deceiving people. If I was, this WSO would have ended a LONG time ago.

Mark - the salesletter was deceptive (as well as the sig link).

I like the system - but used as described, you'd still only have a fraction of the links which the bowtrol site had. site explorer shows 179 backlinks for it, and from what I can see, 99% of them are not from any sites used in this system (i think i saw 1 link from a site used in the system).

It's a good system - but it didn't get the results you advertised. And it is not simply an automated method of doing what you may have done manualy with the bowtrol site.

It's like advertising a Lexus for the price of a suzuki, and delivering me a Toyota. Yes - the toyota may be a damn good car (and worth more then I paid, so i will keep it)- but it isn't the lexus you said i was buying.

I was going to let this pass, but you brought it up - regarding the 7 pages of comments:

1) half of them were solicited with the offer of a free bonus video.

2) the other half were your replies.

3) the system was good, if not the one advertised. So of course people will leave good comments on it.

4) cialdini, psychology of influence. you can pull away the original inducement of the entire offer (the bowtrol results), and the vast majority of the people will still remain "sold". Anyone with the cialdini book can go to page 104 for an example of this.

It doesn't really matter how many happy customers there are - it does not change the fact that this system has nothing to do with the results you used to sell it (the bowtrol site).

I want to make this clear to everyone:

I liked the system, and I won't be asking for a refund.

but the fact remains, it is NOT related to the results of the bowtrol site - and it really bugged me that people were apparantly willing to look the other way regarding this. Worse - he knew when he wrote the sales copy that this system wasn't used on the site.

If you think you are getting an automated system that put this site at #1 out of 270,000 - you aren't.

I didn't start the my WSO with the bonus video for feedback. I was a few days into the WSO when a fellow warrior suggested it. I already had quite a few positive reviews by then, as I pointed out to Kurt

After the whole Kurt thing, I took away that offer. That was pretty much the first weekend the WSO was launched around the 6th of Aug.

I received a TON of feedback after that. I do ask for feedback in the PDF...but if you notice, I also include the bonus video in the PDF

The reason I have received positive feedback is not only for my product, but for my support. I spend a lot of time answering people's questions and even making them personal videos to help them

So to insinuate that I got my feedback and my reputation by bribing people pisses me off.

I earned it.

What pisses me off is your use of "the whole Kurt thing". I stated nothing but facts. You act like I didn't have a right to say what you were doing, and that I created some type of riot.

Correction: It was "the whole Mark thing". All I did was state a fact about you offering people incentives for positive comments on this thread. And this may well be against the law (as Brian, an lawyer posted) and used to be against WSO rules.

Don't blame me for what you did. I was just the messenger. In reality, you should be thanking me. You never know when an enemy or competitor will report you to the FTC. I didn't and wouldn't, but someone else could have. By taking down the offer, you did a lot to protect yourself legally. Seriously.

The thing i see here is that Mark is transparent as he can be. If you want to debate semantics and how he worded something, thats fine. goes back to what is the definition of "is".. is.

Bottom line for me is he hasnt hid anything. he has said, hey guys, this is what i did and oh btw, here is other things i also do and would recommend. this is something you do NOT get from many of the "gurus" you get their one thing they do but not all of what they do. and in order to get more of what they do, you have to buy more.

to marks credit, he keeps sending us updates after updates and recommending things he is doing, unlike others who recommend anything under the sun.

if someone says here is how i got my #1 ranking and only shows me portion of what they do, then ok, but if he adds in i have also done...A,B and C along with what i have learned...then thats being upfront and honest. could he have mentioned that in his sales letter, i guess but it wouldnt have mattered to me bc im always looking at ways to improve upon what im doing and im doing some similar things as Mark is and he has taught me alot of things i didnt know or how to do better.

there are a few "marks" now i have come across in here..the thing i like about these "marks" ..is they are not in the selling IM niche full time, they are succesful in other niches and showing us what they are doing. sort of like a group of successful guys getting together and sharing their business ideas that is working for them and they are doing this for dirt cheap.
