if someone clicks on the coupon it has the listing of the business the coupon and a video spot if they wanted to pay to have my company do a 3 min video commercial and also prem members there could be a side panel with a rotating video spot on the front page, another way to increase revenue and practice what I teach businesses which is video sells and people want it.

So which HD TV did you decide to buy?

As far as marketing we are putting together some information.

I posted this earlier...

That part is really easy peasy!

There are a number of ways to do this. For me I have
found this way works great.

You are surrounded by coupons, they are in the paper,
refrigerator magnets, val-pak, money mailer, phone book
calendars, fliers in the mail, card decks, and on and on.

I don't know if you have ever used these, but they are
expensive and not targeted. The results are not great
for the price.

I just take those coupons and call the owner and ask if they know
about the FREE local online coupon directory?

Ask for their email address to send the url. If that doesn't work I tell them to get a pen and write the url down.

That's just one way I've done it, Paul has a number of things he does
also, but we are not sharing everything here.

Shawn there are lots of things you can do with this.

The big features are...

• getting user names and email
• getting all merchant contact info
• renting your user list to local merchants
• merchant upgrade feature
• running your own ads for anything for free

Here is another thing you should be doing with or without the
Coupon Commando system.

Saturday I went to one of the local hair saloons and got a hair
cut and I used a coupon. When I was done I told the manager
about the free advertising site and gave here a business card
with the URL to the site on it.

Sunday my wife and I stopped into an open house in our neighbor hood.
I talked to the realtor about her business and her advertising and then
told her about the free site and gave her the card.

Everywhere I go I hand out cards.

If you want to be the authority in your area, you
must be doing business in your area.

Let everybody body know who you are and what you do.

I know you have businesses so... do you use coupons in AU?

I can also tell you that we have customers in AU.
I can also tell you that the Coupon Commando Merchant Registration

We are not saying we won't, but we are having trouble getting
our head around it.

Coupon Commando was really designed to be a lead generating
tool for you the Offline/Online marketer and the merchant.

Offline business owners need someone to bring in that coupon to
show that the CC site is working for them and to add
prospects and customers to their mailing lists.

With that being said there is an option when a Merchant upgrades
to send a visitor to a link, which could be a video, instead of
showing a special offer. But in my mind the business owner still needs
proof of his investment in the upgrade.

Version 2 will have a wysiwyg editor for the Merchant upgrade.
This will handle html so you will be able to do videos.

However we will not be selling Coupon Commando for this price
again as a WSO. Plus I think I said in the sales letter that all
WSO purchases will get v2 as a free upgrade. So don't wait.

Thanks to you and Paul for providing a wonderful script/website for generating offline (area retail merchant) leads. Over just the last 3 to 4 days, we have set up a really nice coupon website for Nashville. A few more tweaks and we'll be ready to start the marketing campaign (will use Craigs List) to secure merchants who will upload their free ad. After a month or so, we should have enough participating merchants to provide a wide pool across the various retail categories - for consumers to swim around and discover their savings... (that last statement was kind of silly - but won't edit it out). I can only see good things with this venture, and recommend the Coupon Commando script/website highly.

Great question. Hard to answer. Versions in planning beyond 2 are primarily based upon presumption we're making about circumstances 18-24 months out and involve things like "Cloud Based SAAS", 64 bit architecture, mobile synthesis and other considerations. This means they certainly are going to involve an outlay on our part of research, time, money and testing. It would be almost impossible for us to predict how they will look and what our development costs will be, so I can say that beyond Version 2 we can't make a commitment to do that. I can say that a substantial discount for early bird versions 1-2 Warrior Purchasers will be made. What they are we can't say.

Offline press releases absolutely. Offline there are also a large number of
small business publications besides a local newspaper that are always
looking for content. So submitting press releases an a story about
what your site does for the local market is very welcome.

Paul's niche market is much larger than mine so Craig's list and Kijiji
has worked very well for him. It hasn't worked well for me.

I think the key is if your market has a listing or not. Meaning
when you go to Craig's list is your market listed. When I click on
my state in Craig's list there are only nine cities listed and
my market is so small it's not listed. Paul's city is listed.

You are right it is very powerful. I am in the process
right now of upgrading the email functionality of
the software to use 3rd party auto responders instead
of the internal system.

Then I had plans to start selling it again.
Coupons are huge and getting bigger. Just
look at what Groupon has done. I've also been
contacting sites like Groupon to work out and
affiliate deal for all of the Coupon commado
customers.

So I am slowly bringing it back.
