| An Amazing Newbie Friendly Tool! "Announcing an Amazing Software Tool That Adds Dazzle & Personality to Your Sales Copy, Stimulates Your Writing Muse, Discovers Winning Headlines, and then Organizes & Saves your favorite Copy Snippets- And it's a Guaranteed, Easy to Use, Word Add-in Tool!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ I Stumbled upon a Secret of Effortlessly Writing brilliant Copy, FAST! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi, my name is Len Latimer. I have founded and published a national award-winning consumer magazine, three trade newsletters, and now own a software company. My company, Lynx Media is the leading developer for subscription management software for magazines, newsletters, and membership organizations. All of my businesses have hugely depended on direct marketing that I've written over the years. Now, of course you'll find a books and e-books that offer you a list of power or selling words. But most are simply unorganized lists that just go on and on and on, and on, and on. And frankly, like me, your eyes would probably glaze over. More importantly, they don't contain the power words from the great copywriters. And even more importantly, they aren't organized into a database at your fingertips that makes them fast or easy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A's, B's & C's of Power Selling Words After my experience of zoning out on the huge list I came to the conclusion that the quantity of selling words is less important that the quality of the words. Let me explain: I discovered there are A words (the most powerful), B words (powerful but less so than A’s), and then there are C words, which are just everyday words. Most of the power and selling word lists you’ll see are chock-full of C words. So you have to wade through an unending list to find the gems. I’ve taken the time to screen out many of the C words so that my power selling words are primarily A’s and B’s. Thus, you don’t have to go hunting through thousands and thousands of minor words to find just the right word. Copy-In-A-Box does include more than 1600 power selling words, but they are organized, as I mentioned into topics and categories so that the similar ones display together. And they're words from the great copywriters. You might have caught on when I used wickedly effective a couple of paragraphs above—that's from the great John Carlton. Or you might have noticed my use of silently screamed!— that's from copywriter great Dan Kennedy. Dumb as a box of rocks came from the genius of Gary Bencivenga. Yep! I steal from the best.Here's what Copy-In-A-Box can do for you: Saves you hours of time.
Hi Len, Ordered your great product for improving copywriting earlier today -- and within 3 hours, it's been updated already! Installation of Copy-in-Box was effortless. I was using the product within one minute. Not too sure why no one else has commented here, but this is definitely a terrific tool. And the WSO price is 1/10th of what it's worth. Great job, thanks Len. Hakim Chishti |
Of course. You must have seen "You might have caught on when I used wickedly effective a couple of paragraphs above—that's from the great John Carlton. Or you might have noticed my use of silently screamed!— that's from copywriter great Dan Kennedy. Dumb as a box of rocks came from the genius of Gary Bencivenga" - that's all from Copy-In-A-Box. This looks very good. But I hardly use word because it has code incompatible with html. If you cut and paste from word to html often garbage coding is pasted. What do you do about that? |
Hi, Thanks for your question. Many of the HTML editors luckily have a filter for Word's paste garbage. Or, you could paste first into a text editor, like notepad, then copy and paste into your editor - or course no formatting. Or, you could use the standalong Copy-In-A-Box program (It's included free). If you're using DreamWeaver, for example, alt-tab to Copy-In-A-Box, select you power word, headline, explitive, etc, then just click the "copy to clipboard" button. Then alt-tab back to Dreamweaver, and press CTRL+V or use the menu: edit->paste. |
Yes, if you're the only user. For example, I have a desktop and a laptop and I would want it on both. So it's OK with mme.
Hi Len, I am running on a 64-bit version of Windows Vista (Home Basic.) When I attempt to update things ... to wit: Category, Topic, Word, Guarantee, MyCopy (By I get the following: Quote:
Attempting to use Tools->CIAB Import Wizard, the following happens: Quote:
89728717f58e2b871e1ff574bcb3db77 *CopyInABox.exe If you want to check that the file is not/has not become corrupted. ....Also -- It would be very cool to be able to have something above "Topic" -- Like, Oh, "Niche". So I could separate out specific terms unique to a particular niche that I'm writing in -- (e.g., exercise, street fighting, backlinking ... etc.) Thanks, Judy | ||
Hi Judy, I'm glad to hear it's working properly now. If you're using the desktop version to add new topics, categories, power words, headlines, etc., and you're using Vista, you may need to use Copy-In-A-Box this way. Right-click on the desktop icon for CIAB, and on the context menu, select "Run as Administrator". Vista is a little overdone about rights- and you needed to be an Admin to make the changes. Sorry for the trouble. |
Purchased and installed but it doesn't work with Word 2000 I guess. Made Word crash each time I tried open it. Sent email and phoned , but no reply to so far. Need to know how to install stand alone only since it won't work with my version of Word. Ron |
Sorry we missed you're call - I'll have a programmer look at it Monday. Not sure if we have a copy of Word 2000 to check it with though. Which operating system are you using?
I have, after multiple pm's with the seller, regretfully asked for a refund. I am using the app (not the word add-in) and attempting to use it to add things in. I have had the wordlists completely vanish (not the topics or the categories). I just LOVE the concept here...but the implementation leaves something to be desired. As does the customer service. I've been asked to run it in admin mode, which I had already done on a prior request. I asked for help in getting my demolished wordlists back -- I have backup files, but the seller did not respond to that request -- only suggesting that I do run in admin mode again. Disappointed. Regretfully, Judy |
Hi Judy, Sorry, I was out of the office much of yesterday. I have pm'ed you on which files to send me to see if I can recover your words, and a direct email address to send them to. I'll love a 2nd chance to fix this for you - but if not, I understand and will make a prompt refund. Sorry you had trouble. |
| Hi Judy, Sorry for your software problems. Did you get your refund OK? The good news is that we solved the problem. And guess what, You were right!!! The text boxes allowed you to type in a word longer Than the database would accept – and thus the error. To thanks you for your help, I’d like to give you a free copy. I've included a coupon in a private email. Thanks. |
Hi Guys, If you've purchased Copy-In-A-Box, then look for an email from me with the new version correcting the error that Judy found. A tip of the hat to Judy for her good catch. The link will allow you to download the newest version including the regular database of power words, headline, etc. If you want to save any old, added entries, use the desktop Copy-In-A-Box menu to File->Backup Files, then run the setup, and then use the desktop Copy-In-A-Box to restore menu (File->Restore Files). And if you are using Vista and want to add new Power Words, categories, etc., load the desktop Copy-In-A-Box by right-clicking on the desktop icon, and choose "Run as Administrator". This assures you have a right to edit. New purchasers starting now will only receive the current, corrected software. Thanks. |
Hi Len, I would like to purchase but I want to make sure that this will work on my desktop and laptop. I have different OS and version of Word on each. My desktop is Windows XP SP3 and Word 2007. I just got my laptop with Windows 7 and MS Office Starter 2010 version. Will it work on both these configurations? Thanks, Dianne |
Hi Dianne, I also use Word 2003 and XP so that for sure works. I don't know about MS Office Starter 2010 version. I would suggest you try it and I'll refund you if you're not happy. I did have someone with a really old version of Word - Word 2000 I think- find it didn't work with it but- he was still very happy with the desktop version which looks and acts just the same and also has the edit/add features. Thanks for your interest. |
