1. To implement the free method, you said one would want to spend around 30 mins a day. Against that, how many links can one expect, and of what level of quality (PR) and IP diversity, on an average? I hope many of these links are not from the same IP/domain/platform?

2. Using the paid method, you said you manage in around $100 per month with a fair bit of success. So, is this $100 per niche, or $100 no matter how many niches you enter? How much time does the paid method save?

3. I hope this is not restricted to the IM niche? Personally I am into physical as well as digital products niche but not onto the IM niche.

Here are your answers:

1. Yes, if you are implementing any of the free strategies, you can only spend around 30 minutes/day and get around 500-1000 backlinks in a week. PR ranges from 0-7 and it depends on what you locate. I show all the strategies of how to locate them and have also included a good number sites as a bonus.

IP diversity is not what I really care of since many high PR websites including SEO experts are using some of the strategies without telling the internet marketing audience. If you strictly believe that IP diversity is a serious factor for high ranking (which I clearly disprove showing many examples of top ranking websites for very competitive keywords), then I would advise you not to opt for this strategy. As I have stated before, something that gives results is worth implementing. So to answer your question, yes they are from same IP/domain/platform and it gives me results (which is all I want) and I am happy with it.

2. It depends. You don't necessarily have to spend $100. You can spend more or less and still get dominate in your niche. Depends on your niche and many other factors. You can save 1000's of $ by implementing this strategy effectively.

3. No, it is not restricted to IM niche.

The free methods are cool enough I believe, though as Gamefreak mentions, would take a little more time to implement than the paid one. The paid one is literally instant. I like the step-by-step detailed approach with examples. Overall, my money has been spent on a good quality product. On the flip side, there are spelling errors but one can survive with them. My rating: recommended. I shall implement this one on an EZA which is ranked at #26 as I write it and see whether I get to strike the top 10.

1) It's a mix of dofollow and nofollow links.

2) Well, in my guide I have shown examples of people ranking for competitive terms like "reverse phone lookup", "web hosting", "australian domain names" and many other competitive keywords implementing this strategy. My budget is 100/month or less and that's why I don't go for very competitive keywords. Recently, I have started focusing on the keyword "reverse phone lookup" and have already managed to get 2 affiliate sales just 3 days back. I don't know where it's ranking but I am sure it's coming close to top ranking as it is getting exposure and sales.

3) Yes. Not necessarily 1 month to show all backlinks. It's usually around a week or two and most of your backlinks will be shown in Yahoo Site Explorer (if it works properly) or backlink checker.

4) It depends. I have different strategies for building backlinks. Some of them sticks for very long and for some you need to implement the strategy (again max. 30 mins of work) at least once in a month to make it stick.

Hi Adam,

1) It depends from where you are getting backlinks. My bonus has a list of websites among which, I guess, 50% websites are dofollow. Sorry, to tell you but I didn't count the exact number and the %.

2) Some of the original backlinks stay in the place whereas others don't (which usually starts dissappearing after 3 months). We only have to implement this strategy once in a month to get the backlinks which does not stick. As far as I have noticed, implementing the strategy once in a month will not only help you to maintain the old links but also to gain new backlinks.


Remember, this is just one strategy which I discuss in this guide. You can completely avoid it if you want. Their are other strategies which will give you a large number of permanent backlinks.

Just purchased and had first read through - this is very interesting and I will be implementing it immediately.
I had sort of done one of the free methods once completely by accident but I didn't understand what I had done or what it meant. If I hadn't read this WSO I would have remained completely ignorant and never gone back to it.
The methods are really easy - I have already had a little tinker with it whilst sitting here with a nice glass of wine and listening to The Commitments ( well it is Saturday night) and look forward to seeing what happens.
