So, would the subscriber have to sign up to your RSS feed as well?

I'm not very techy and trying to figure out exactly how it works?

Hi Jeremy,

When somebody subscribe to your RSS Feed, he will be able to read your messages sent from RSS Broascaster System installed in your website. We are not involved at all after you installed the script in your website. The installed software in your website will work independently and you will be the only person able to login to the pasword protected Admin Control panel.

How customer will know that we have something on our website for them to see?
I am also confused on how it works. Can you please explain it more in details.
Do they have to install something on their computer, or will they get email from us to check our web page or .........

Hello Catherine,

Hope you are techy enough to COPY and PASTE a code we provide into your website. When you copy and paste a SINGLE LINE of code, a pink color button will be appeared near the address bar of visitors' browser. They will be able to add your feed using this pink color button.



When you COPY and PASTE few lines of HTML code, another group of buttons will be appeared in your website.



Visitors can add your RSS Feed to their favorite RSS reader.

Is it difficult to do? The system automatically generate Code for each and every RSS Feed you create. More details are given in the Tutorial.

Creating a unique feed url for every registered user CANNOT restrict your feeds to registered users only. Becasue, when a register user adds his feed url to a feed reader like Google reader or My Yahoo, Search engine will start spidering the content and will be available to the public. So what we suggest our users is that; if the feed is for paid registered members, the URL of the item should be pointed to a password protected folder. This is the only way to keep the content private. This way, people will be able to read only the title and short description on the feed and to access the real content and download the stuff, they have to login to the password protected members area. The plugin you mentioned has an advantage: you can provide customized feed content for example; a post can start with "Hello FirstName".

Hi Tom,

RSS Broadcaster is NOT like Feedburner.
Feedburner cannot create a new RSS Feed, instead they just add some functionality to an existing feed (like subscription counter, click-through tracking etc).

With RSS Broadcaster, you can create, publish and manage any number of RSS Feeds. With those feeds, you will be able to keep in touch with your subscribers - send updates, articles and reports, send promotional messages, promote backend products etc.
