I have been working the offline world for a bit now, and I have started speaking at local networking groups. I know that experienced offline Warriors can agree that speaking at networking events is a great way to inform local business owners about online marketing, and get some sales on the back-end too!

I was extremely nervous for my first speaking event, but I was able to control my nerves and relax once I started presenting. (I guess being a communication major has its perks after all).

Just bought this... and I would say it's one of the better presentation slideshows for offline gold. A few of these types of WSOs have been subpar but this one is pretty good. Here's why:

Pictures used in the powerpoint are included so you can customize your own slides with them.

The presentation covers the 6 main topics. Now there are more but through my own personal experience these topics are the hot buttons that get clients interested in your services.

Each topic has enough info to explain what it is but not enough for them to go out and do on their own. This creates interest from the client and the desire to hire you.

Most of the statistical fact figures have references included for believeability.

There are 42 slides total so you can shorten them to give a personal one on one presentation or interject your own comments for each if you are speaking in front of a large group.

Overall it can be used "right out of the box" or tweaked very easily for your own personality.

Here is the crazy thing, I have two of these presentations lined up for next month and I haven't even begun to put together the presentation itself yet so I may jump on this. Quick questions though, is the presentation geared to any particular type of audience. For example, do you give generic examples in the presentation geared to small businesses? Medium sized Businesses? How easy is the presentation to customize? How long does it take for you to give the presentation because 42 slides is a lot. Assuming a few minutes per slide, this would be a pretty long presentation wouldn't it?

Just trying to figure out if this is right for my needs. If it is, I would much rather purchase and reuse what you have already done rather than starting from scratch. Thanks in advance!

I would say the presentation is really geared towards ANY sized business, as it is essentially an introduction to the IM world and how it can produce great rewards for their business.

The examples I give are real-world applications and examples of the uses of these specific methods. All of these are backed-up with facts, as many business owners "get" numbers before they really think about anything else.

If you have ever done a powerpoint, you should have no problem customizing this presentation in any way that you would like.

As far as time, I have presented this thing twice and I'd say it takes 40 mins or so to get through, but that is just my style and your results may vary. As Eric mentioned, you could always cut somethings out for different types of engagements. Of course, you can always add some stuff to it as well.

Overall, I just tried to keep things simple for the business owners and make sure they understand what the heck I am blabbering about. Even though it is simple in nature, the presentation also covers a lot of material and helps the busoness owners "connect the dots" as far as the practical uses for some of these things like SEO, Social media, etc. It is meant as a basic introduction to to online marketing.

This is a VERY well done PowerPoint presentation.

Very nicely organized. Good, easy-to-understand information for the layman. Enough to make attendance at your seminar certainly worthwhile but, not so much that they don't need you after the seminar ends.

Not too much "Bling" to make it distracting.

Easy to modify to your own tastes -- change the backgrounds, change the order, add slides, remove slides. (If you've ever sat staring at your computer screen with "PowerPoint Writer's Block" wondering what, how and in what order to put your presentation together, you'll instantly see the value in this WSO.)

One could use this as the basis for several different seminars by adding and subtracting slides. In that way you could have a very brief, but effective presentation for a luncheon, service club or sales meeting, a longer version for a 1 1/2 hour - 2 hour presentation and add slides to offer a half-day seminar to local business owners. (Work it right and attendees at your free luncheon or service club presentation will be eager to attend your 1/2 day events.)

All-in-all, IMHO, one of the more useful Offline WSOs so far.

Thanks for the comments! You can DEFINITELY do a presentation, just start out very small to start with, such as a local meetup.com group. You have information that is very valuable to business owners, and they will realize that...so just relax and go for it!

SWEET review! I seriously REALLY REALLY appreciate you taking the time to post back in the WSO thread!

I completely agree with you on condensing/lengthening the presentation to fit your specific needs as well. I should have noted, that when I mentioned my time was around "40 minutes or so", this time didn't include a whole section of several slides that I added before releasing the WSO. I'd say to give yourself at least a full hour or more for the presentation in its default form, but once again...your results may vary depending upon your speaking style.

I have a few powerpoint presentations that I have purchased and even a few that I have created, so I thought this was the same old, same old.

Surprise! Excellent material!!

The presentation is geared to any small business audience that is interested in getting a website or improving their web presence. You can use this to give a two hour presentation or edit it for a shorter presentation.If anyone has PP software this can be customized. It just don't get no easier then this.

Go over the talking points a few times. Think about some questions that might be asked. Show the presentation, and you will look like the professional consultant you want to be, do your follow ups, collect the money.
