I recently created a PHP for my subscribers and blog readers. Aih ... why not just spread the words here too.

Simple IPN is a PHP script that helps you sell your ebook, report, audio, photos, etc, anything downloadable.

It works with Paypal. And what it does is this...

1. it helps you generate the HTML for the Paypal button
2. it will create an expiring download page for your customers
3. it will create expiring download link(s) for your files
4. it will email your customers with the purchase & download info
5. you can setup your product with multiple files
6. it will verify the purchase with Paypal IPN (instant purchase notifaction)

Some of the best features are these...

1. no database setup required, runs on flat files
2. small and lightweight, only a few files
3. no need to create HTML for your Paypal button
4. you can customize how the thank you page looks like
5. you can customize how the download page looks like
6. you can store your files outside of the web root (public_html) so your files will not be downloadable directly
7. you can test it on Paypal Sandbox (check http://developer.paypal.com)
8. verifies purchase against the right price, currency and Paypal email address (sometimes people can send bogus IPN data)
9. did I mention that it's FREE?

How to use...

1. modify settings.php with product info and Paypal details
2. upload to any chosen folder
3. link order button or text link to "ipn.php?buy"
4. DONE!
5. optionally, modify the download page template
6. optionally, modify the thank you page template

i tried this code to implement Paypal IPN. After payment is done, i was redirected to thank you page containing all the information, when i clicked "Click here to proceed to the download page." ,i got an an error message saying "Purchase Details Not Found. Contact Administrator." however i can see txn_id in my url. for ex- /page.php?dl-217489502M313042S.php but no .php file is created in my directory as mentioned in your readme.txt(XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.php - generate customer info file
). could you please help me.

hi,
i tried this code.its working fine and i am able to download the digital goods after payment, but when i set product details using session variables in settings.php i.e product code, product name and product price, i get a error saying "Purchase Details Not Found. Contact Administrator." while trying to download the digital goods after payment.could you please suggest me why it is happening.

Any help is highly appreciated,
