Anyone who bought Action Slider in the last few minutes and didnt get a download link please do the following...

1. Log into the forum (URL and Username and Password in your 'Thank You' email)

2. Go to 'Action Slider' Forum section. Look for Sticky: Action Slider Download & Upgrade

3. Download.

This only affects buyers before now.

Each of the templates has a 'Custom' style that that is just the banner with no image (there are 3 versions in png, giff and jpg)

Just open the png and design your own by adding an image/changing the color/ etc etc in a new layer.

Easy to do even with just simple graphical skills.

Personal use on as many WP sites as you want.

Can not be used on sites with the intention of flipping. If you 'flip' a site it must be deactivated and removed before transfer.

There is a conflict between the scriptaculous library that action slider uses and the mootools library that the featured gallery uses....
I will release a separate version of the plugin that uses Mootools, this will however take a couple of days to get coded, please bear with me and ill email you as soon as its done.

I don't recommend belonging to their forum! When you try to buy their other products, they give you a RUDE message telling you that only their "special customers" can order their products. I'm sorry I even spent $7 just because their attitude spoiled my relationship with them in about 2 minutes!

I have purchased several IQbizz products and have been completely satisfied with every one of them. I have never encountered the problem you mentioned. I have always gotten a prompt response from the support staff when asking questions. When I have made suggestions about possible upgrades or additional features the staff responded quickly and when I made a request for a piece of software to perform a particular task I was told they would look into developing it. How often do you find that in a company?

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, please submit a support ticket if you are having problems ordering and I am sure they will figure out what the problem is and fix it.

I have been a warrior for a very long time, since the very beginning in fact -- when it cost money to be a warrior. I rarely give any company such a ringing endorsement but I have been so incredibly pleased with the service and products offered at IQbizz that I will give them one.

No. The Slider appears at the bottom of the screen no matter where on the page the reader is.

Also, as it 'sits' there the reader can scroll son the page as normal.

We use a system called Delavo for all or 'shopping cart' delivery needs. It used to be called JVManager and then Fantasos.

We set up the forum to 'support' all our products/customers.

Sometimes each product needs an upgrade and we create a new 'package' so the system knows that the 'customer' has already paid and needs this upgrade for free.

We add the new upgrade package to the forum as a central point of download and then email customers informing them of the upgrade.

They can now go to the forum to get the upgrade download.

If you are a customer of product 'A' and try and click on the upgrade to product 'B' then obviuosly the system knows you are not entitled to the free upgrade to product 'B' as you have never purchased it in the first place.

That's when the system says ' Sorry, but this upgrade is for our etc etc etc'.

I think this is what you are referring to.

NOWHERE in the support forum do we refer to 'special customers'. Nowhere.

All our support is treated seriously.

Just checked your site. In fact the slider is not staying in the bottom when viewed in FireFox as well as IE.
I am using Firefox/3.0.13

Checked it in Safari 4.0.3 and its behaving as it is in IE and Firefox

No, we tested on the last few WP installs as well as some older ones, also on many themes etc. It's fine on 99.9% of them.

Looks like a 'specific' theme issue that Rob's working on now. (We noticed you used Artisteer but it's not the building of the theme, more likely a small CSS conflict in that particular style.css - wayyyyy over my head)

Just open a support ticket and Rob can communicate directly with you and then when we have it solved we can tell the WSO world what went on.

In the headline text area if I use and enter the word Don't it gets changed to Don\'t

... notice that "\" gets added.

I am also experiencing the slider not anchoring to the bottom of the page when I scroll down. How was it resolved?

Update: ver 1.2 solved this. I found it in the support forum. Would be good if there was a newsletter notification about the update. Or, a notification from WP control panel.

There is an option to allow the user to close it forever.

To add the functionality you're asking for would make the plugin be priced in the $47 range and we're not gonna do that soon. We may add that sometime in the future and have a free upgrade but not anytime in the near future.

Yeah we do email when upgrades occur.

We do it a few days after the upgrade occurs to give the 'user' who had the issue to give us feedback. Once we are sure the upgrade is working and essential we do the email.

We don't ever want to be emailing our buyers 3 times in a day cause a small thing needed to to be tweaked.

Hope that seems reasonable.

Yep we will. We just wanted something most could afford and would actually 'use' in their business.

Maybe the marketers that 'ummm' and 'ahhhh' and don't take action can now actually afford a tool to help their business.

We will definately be adding to Action Slider over time. Like I said, we wanted something useful and reasonably priced as all our other software products are in the $47 - $97 range.

Action Slider will be going up to $27 when we get our graphics finished and will still be affordable in our opinion.

Found another bug. Tatoo Ideas and Designs It hides behind flash. On that page it comes up behind the video. FF on linux, FF on XP and in IE 7 for sure. Not sure about IE 8. FF and Safari on Mac look good though.

IMO it should John, it just uses your cut and paste HTML from your auto responder, so it doesn't really have to integrate or anything.
