but i had bought this WSo and wanted to throw in my 2 cents.


I am a tight Ass, i do NOT spend a cent if i think something would be a waste of time, and i would DEFINITELY get a refund if i thought that what I had bought DIDN'T do what it says it does, or is generally a rubbish program.

LabTweets is great. Seriously. i am not Akky, or Akkys lover, just a satisfied customer. it has a lot of follow and unfollow features, it is pretty good value at 47 dollars, and you can have as many twitter accounts in it for that price. (tweet Adder, although GREAT, i paid 110 for 5 user liscence)

I cant sing its praises highly enough, and it automates basically everything that you doo on twitter, and you can tweet right from it too.

I do have 2 small problems with it. It would be GREAT to be able to see your tweets back to you, and i WISH i had it run natively on my Mac

Labtweets 2.0 doesn't work - I upgraded and my program just stopped working. Sent an eMail to the author - no response.

The version apparently voids the old version and I guess I'm supposed to buy an upgrade? The program now says my serial number is void.

Very, very confusing and frustrating.

I guess I'll start using auTwitter - it's free and just as good....

Mate, that's not possible, please uninstall the previous version. And then install. The old serial would work , you just need to have the new version. Many People are using V2 now, they've got no problems. Even leonardpayne, He was having V1.5, but when he got v2, everything was fixed, and he is really happy.

Alright, Most of em uses API. API is limited to 150 per hour. So you may follow only 150 per hour.

Mine is an all in one thing mate, thats really a great plus point. These are some main features:

• Tweet Scheduling is there,
• Auto Reply when someone mentions your name,
• URL Shortening
• Search for a keyphrase like "I lost my job", then reply to them automatically with your cpa offer (SuperTweets) ,
• Turbo Mode ( Balances Follower and Following ratio to 1:1) ,

Well I'm up and running; can't recommend this program to anyone though.

When you upgrade you lose all your past work - all the Twitter accounts are gone, Had to run MS uninstall on the old version and installed the new version and then had to dig through past eMails to find my registration number.

All the other programs I own automatically detect new versions and ask you if you want to upgrade and do it automatically and don't lose your data and force you to spend 10 minutes tracking down a registration code from eMails. This is old technology.

There are easier and cheaper alternatives to this program folks...

Not really mate, create a new txt file to restore your accounts , In that txt file, type in

"Username|Password"

Write in that exact format and the 2nd account in the new line. You can just restore it by clicking on load accounts and then importing it . Thank you In the future, there won't be such restoring problems , sorry for this.

And mate, I should be charging like $197 for this. Hummingbird is not even good as mine, they are charging $197. For $47, this is a real steal!

I have a suggestion for your next upgrade - In the Auto-Tweets section allow the user to choose when/how often to tweet INDIVIDUAL auto-tweets. Right now, the settings can only be set to apply to and thus be the same for all auto-tweets. If I want 1 auto-tweet to tweet every 40-60 minutes and 1 to tweet only a couple of times a day, the system does not allow for that flexibility.

Hi Alminc,

We are working on the tutorial. It will be ready in 24-48 hours max

1. The Project name is the keyword which you are going to concentrate on. It could be a keyword or a keyphrase.
2. And you have to add the project, select the number of tweets to reply to. The default is 300, meaning you will reply to 300 people = 300 tweets.
3. Then you have to add your tweet which is relevant to the keyword. Then just select the account.
4. Then start the process.

It's quite simple . Just play with the features.

Auto Account Creation is there in the next version which will be released in a day or so.

Picked up Labtweets recently because I was looking into getting back into Twitter marketing for some of my niche sites.

Pretty solid program, better than Hummingbird and well worth the price. I still haven't used all the features but am happy with the basic ones used so far (auto follow, unfollow etc).

Best of all is the support.. I have the creator on MSN so can get his help with any problems faced.

Good work product! UI is clean enough and intuitive enough for even a non techie guru like to me to Forrest Gump my thru the main feature set. Would be nice to get my hands on some basic documentation, if that's on your radar?

I only 5x Twitter accounts, so while I'm not a super power user, I suspect most people only have a handful of Twitter profiles as well, which makes this a strong affiliate SW tool to promote via e-Junkie (which I've done).

Would be nice to be able to SORT by column headings, so I'll post it up to your email addy a but later.

I just wondered if you have a rough idea when you will release an update that allows us to automate switching between twitter accounts ? I really like the way the program works, but still can't really just leave it to run unattended and for example switch between accounts every 1 hour, or switch to account 2 when finished processing the first account. Not sure if I explained that very well, its been a long day :-)

Anybody else having issues trying to "fully" understand how to use LabTweets?

I've been making & editing a few Camtasia videos but I've been frustrated since I've had to Forrest Gump my way thru learning how to use the tool's basic and advanced features. The tool is kewl, the lack of documentation sucks.

I'd be willing to provide a Google Wave invite to a small select group of WF who bought LabTweets so we can collaborate and create a set of tutorial videos and PDF documents. If Akhil ends up selling LabTweets, I suspect the new owner would like to have this tutorial documentation as well.

Here's the short list of Feature/Function set that I'd like to see in this first set of how to tutorials:

1. Adding an Account
2. Following
3. Un-Following
4. Turbo Mode
5. Status Update
6. Auto Tweets
7. Auto Replies
8. Direct Messages
9. Super Tweets
10. Automation (Settings)
11. Creating an Account(s)

For this to work quickly, it would be helpful if you had:

• Google Wave account
• MS Live Office account
• MS or gMail Chat account

If you're interested in doing something like this leave a note to that effect in the message box and include LabTweets in the subject field (or) PM me with your thoughts or comments.

For those working Twitter for your IM biz, I came across a great site to find and join Twitter Lists that have a large following.

It's called Listorious. It lists and ranks the Top 140 Lists on Twitter.

I use this to find the big guns in my niche markets and then boot up LabTweets to Follow the Followers and visa versa.

It doesn't cost anything to create a profile and announce/promote your Twitter lists, which I did for my Google Wave action and in less than 30 minutes, got 25+ hits and sign ups, so you might want to check it out.
