* You uncheck Saturday and Sunday, and your articles appear only on Weekdays

* Or how about set the time to 1700 and 2300 (5pm and 11pm), so all the articles 'appear' to be written when you come home from work!

* Set the day range to 2 and 4, and articles appear every 2 to 4 days on your blog (ideal to look like a busy blogger with other things to do!)

The article splitter is my own private (up until now) invention - it takes an article and inserts a special WordPress tag every few paragraphs.

This tag splits articles into pages - part 1, part 2, etc - and the result is one article can spread across more than one page, giving you MORE for each article:

I've been looking for this exact type of plugin, I thought of all the features you mentioned, you even included a few extra. I was about to grab a similar plugin for around $50 or something like that.

I've gotten so much from my Active Blogging Membership, the plugins alone are worth the cost of your membership....in fact, the adblock plugin is one of the most practical and beneficial plugins I use!

Just a quick note. I have not yet tried the above mentioned plugin BUT I have been a member of Active Blogging for about 6 months (bought on a previous WSO) and let me tell you its worth every penny and more. Like a lot of people on this board, I subscribe to many offers but after a few months drop the subscription and move on.

This membership is a keeper, with so much value such as reports, plugins, very useful videos, and a helpful and active forum.

So in summary if you are into or attempting to get into blogging then this is a very high value membership. I guess I must admit the reverse it true if blogging is not your thing then maybe you should pass on this.

Membership not needed - and you can use the plugin on all your sites, as many as you wish. Personal use only of course.

The advantage of ActiveBlogging is you get more than that single plugin as a member - check out the offering on the plugins page alone:

The reason I mentioned ABTheme it is that the page splitting part of the plugin will add pages to your blog only IF your theme supports it. For example, the Default theme of WordPress does, as does ABTheme; however, some theme designers may not have implemented this.

Sorry - the plugin works on any theme - it actually is an admin only plugin, so what theme you use won't matter (although, as I said, if the theme can't handle page splitting, don't use that section of the plugin).

The limitations are the same as any of my plugins - personal use only, but you can have it on any and all blogs you own.

Also, it's tested on WP2.6.2 - I wouldn't use it on a blog before 2.6 however, but then if you're using anything before 2.6.1, I strongly encourage you to upgrade for security reasons.

Yes. The plugin merely rearranges post dates on articles, and makes them 'live' at a future time - so what you put in the articles (keywords, description tags, etc.) is entirely up to you.

information and excerpts information and tags for every
article, then it will absolutely rock. I am about to
place my order for it but I await your response whether
this plugin can do this.

Also, if I have 20 categories, I will have to specify
the number of articles to be posted for category 1
and category 2 and so on? Can't all the articles be
randomly posted to all 20 categories?

If this plugin can't do the above, any idea which one
does, because I really need this for my niche blogs. It's
tiring spending 5 minutes on each post when I have to
manually enter the article title, the article itself,
the article description, the article exerpt, and the
various tags for the article -- if this plugin can

There's good news and bad news...

The plugin WILL spread articles evenly over multiple categories, like you suggested.

However, it doesn't add tags, excerpts, etc - you have to provide these summaries yourself.

The plugin rearranges currently-existing articles, if that's what you're asking - and if they have the tags, excerpts, etc in them, then they will be rearranged too - no problem.
