Have to say this makes for very interesting reading especially after spending 5+ years reading about and practicing SEO in my day job this does give a whole new slant on things with undeniable proof to boot. However just to play devils advocate I've actually managed 1st page rankings in 81 million results for one search term and another where I outrank the manufacturer and all the online shops for a product doing exactly the flipside to what's described in the WSO, and these rankings aren't including the hundreds I've got and managed to make stick for my employer. Saying the above shouldn't detract from the fact that this is a great report, which highlights the fact that if big G is run by a crack team of PHD maths and science bods all working on 'the algorithm', then maybe they've been out to lunch for the past 10 years. For $9 dollars it's a no brainer, go get it! But be aware there's two ways to read this report, if you're new to SEO then take everything onboard and realise that Google isn't the super complicated search beast it makes itself out to be or, if you're more experienced it may unlock the answers to a few 1st page results you've been denied. |

Hey Aaron, Like you said in your PM there's more than one way to skin a cat... unlike what the gooroos will have us believe. You are so right... Google is not some Master Wizard that knows all. They make mistakes and falter like the rest of us. It's been nice to hear from someone out in the trenches like you. Maybe you can do a report to enlighten us on your techniques... which sound like sommink I would certainly love to add to my arsenal. Thanks, Oz. P.S. Aaron predominantly uses On Page SEO (with minimal backlinking) to dominate very tough niches. However, his level of On Page SEO is far beyond what the majority of us understand to be On Page SEO. I won't give any more away, but it's not the kind of On Page SEO that the vendors and goorus peddle. That's why I would love Aaron to enlighten us with a report. Pleeeze. Quote:

I would love to see a report from Aaron as well. ![]() Those high competition listings with minimum backlinking would be sweet. Adam |

Must admit it'd be nice to do something on here in way of a report but unfortunately I'm snowed under with a load of other projects at the moment, definitely something I'll be putting on my to-do list though |

I've never been any good at writing reviews, but I'll write one here as this report is well worth reading for anyone with even a partial interest in SEO. From the opening statement I was transfixed. Oz has written this report in such a way that makes it very enjoyable to read. There are plenty of great insights, and overall this report has given me a much better idea of where I should be focusing my efforts in regards to SEO. It has also answered a number of questions I've always had as to why certain sites rank so well, that according to other SEO [mis]information, shouldn't be ranking at all. Highly recommended! |

Hi! I just finished reading 'SEO On Trial'. "Wow!" ... in a word. I am not an expert (nor a total novice either) when it comes to SEO; I know just enough to be dangerous. Dangerous to my self and my wallet, that is. Not only have I paid $87US for a sophisticated KW/Niche-Market Analysis tool, but after struggling to learn how to use it successfully, I then paid $287US for an advanced IM course that includes a tutorial on how to use the first product. (Can anyone relate? And yes, I feel a little foolish.) My point is that had I gotten 'SEO On Trial' before buying those things, I'd have saved a lot of money and gotten a lot more usable information (from Oz)! And, oh yeah, I probably would be ranking higher than I am now. BTW, I have the author's other WSOs and they're of the same caliber. So get out your credit card and send me a "Thanks" via the WF later! |

I just finished to read the report and this is the first report I read in full with avidity, pleasure and fun at the same time, ever. Reading an ebook report that instantly and fully after download in the 1st time in 3 years that I have started to search for opportunities online. Everybody spoke about keyword searches and I have never understood it. Everybody spoke and fought over content and that "made sense" for google and also for the readers I guess. But what really make sense when using the net to make yourself known ? The first report that technically and for real answer that question. Only 20 pages and very funny.
