Payment For Threads And Bumps

To Pay For A Thread:

1. Post Your Thread First.

2. A Moderator Will Approve Your Thread.

3. When Approved You Will Get A Private Message With A Payment Link To PayPal. The cost for a WSO is $40.

4. As Soon As You Make Payment Your Thread Will Go Live.

That's it!

How To Bump Your Thread Back To Top Of The List

We are able to bump threads back to the top again. If you would like to bump your thread back up here's how.

1. Wait till your thread drops off page 2. (See below)

2. You will see a text link at the bottom of your thread that says "Promote" (see pic below) Click on that text link and pay for the bump. Your thread will go to the top of the forum.

[EDIT] Please note anyone bumping threads before it reaches page three will have their threads locked and will be banned from the forum

This will give people the pleasure of not seeing the same "popular/well-off" WSOs every time they log in. It kind of evens the playing field a little more for everyone.

Allen,

Two questions:

Say you get the payment PM but you happen to not be online. You don't pay until 8 hours later. After you pay will the WSO still be at the top of the list, or will it go live and start out lower than the top.

Second question, how long will the payment link be good for? Say my WSO gets approved on a Saturday, but I don't want to run it until the following Friday, would the payment link still be good?

Awesome change indeed!

I always try to 'time' the bump of my WSO, but it was tricky as I had no influence on when the moderators would actually make it go live.

Now, if it really works as described, I can truly time my WSO bumps the way I want them to go live at a certain time.

This will be big for people who are actually bother to find out when their WSO's perform the best. Which I do.

1. It will go to the top when paid for. Now matter if it is 50 rows down..

2. The payment link will be good for as long as you want to leave it in your PM box...

That Payment link would be user independent?...i mean let me explain...as i cannot
use paypal from Pakistan...what i do is get my buddy Kevin or Brain to pay WSO
fee on my behalf...sometime i ask them to login to my WF account and pay...

With this payment link..if it is just stand-alone..can anyone (even not logged in to
the forum with that user) use that link and pay for that WSO...

Oh sorry maybe i am not able to explain it clearly...but i am sure you would have
got my point...

Hmm..I see what you mean. I have a test account on here that I was using and I had to pay for my test threads with my brothers paypal account.

Someone could login to your account and pay for your post with their own paypal account I would think..

Believe me Warriors this is GREAT. It's the way it was on the old forum. It allows you to release your WSO at the exact time you want to. Watch the rhythm of the WF and you will find your favorite time of day and day of week etc. No more guessing when. Just post well in advance of when you want to go live and pay exactly when you want to go live.

It is great having the old system back again, it was getting a bit of a pain being in UK, i would upload a new WSO UK Morning time and sometimes it would be 8 hours later before it went live. At least now i can chose what time i want this to happen.

This is great, I sit at my PC constantly refreshing after I submit a WSO so I can quickly check my formatting once it's up. This way I can be onto it straight away.

Quick question. Would it be acceptable to submit the WSO some time before you actually want to run it, say a few hours or even the night before, so that you can have it appear at your moment of choice?

Or, would that be considered poor form?

Edit: Never mind, I missed the post where this was addressed. It's all good. Yay for precision timing!

Great change! Although i had the timings almost perfect before... now it might be a bit trickier seeing as people can post their thread whenever they like! Is going to take a few weeks to find the exact best time now

I presume that the average times for wso approval is still the same right? no extended delay because of the PM feature as i presume again that is automated and you haven't got someone sending a PM every time right?

There is a WSO WSO currently running that tells people the best times to run their WSO

Since I purchased it, I know when NOT to list my WSO.

I have tried editing several times but it keeps trying to put my title in HTML and it's like 3600 characters long so it won;t let me edit.
Any ideas? Or am I doing something wrong?
