What do I know anyway about finding potential clients?

That's a fair question. You see, I had the opportunity to work for one of the top Yellow page directories in my area. It was a job requirement of ours not only to maintain a certain level of sales quota (as is true at most sales jobs) we were also required to bring in a certain number of new clients who never advertised with us before.

Let me tell you how important this aspect was. Even if you were doing phenomenal with your sales quotas. I'm talking you could be killing it with your sales quotas. If you did not fulfill your obligation to bring the required amount of new advertisers, you could be fired.

Does that sound evil to you? To an outsider, it may. However, the phone book, just like any other company that relies on a sales force knows that if it doesn't bring in fresh clients regularly, then it can't grow. If it can't grow, it's doomed to stagnate, or even worse, decline.

Your offline business is no different!


If you can't get clients, you won't make money, period!


Now getting back to what makes me an expert at this. Thankfully, I was pretty well liked. I was always polite, charming, and witty with my co-workers. Attributes that are always appreciated in any work environment.

Because I was well liked, many of my co-workers shared with me their tips, tactics, and strategies on how to get new clients. I'm not trying to brag, but there's something else you need to understand about this. Because you may think this is not a big deal. Most of the time, seasoned sales reps, DO NOT take kindly to new reps.

I can't believe I never thought of some of the methods contained in your report! Even for someone with offline business experience like myself, this is a great report on finding leads to work with. I'm acutally planning to use these methods to find leads for my middleman techniques.

I think this is a great resource for anybody looking to get into offering services to offlines businesses. These methods will make finding businesses to work with much easier. Jason, great report. The surprise bonuses were stand alone products on their own, well worth the price and beyond.

I always grab reports on client and lead generation / closing / upsells for local business owners just to see if I can grab 1 gem out of them to put into action immediately.

This report will keep me very busy for the next few months as I implement each one of these, one at a time, 100%.

One thing that should be noted and highlighted is that Jason has worked successfully as a sales rep. in the Yellow Page business, and constantly relates his strategies to successful campaigns/closes from his previous line of work. What he shares about how he sold then, to how he sells now is invaluable to upcoming and established consultants providing services to local business owners.

The report goes right to the meat, with some real life examples sprinkled in that relate the concepts to 'real life' beautifully. Very well written, and definitely will work wonders for those who take action with it.

I was away when you wrote this, sorry.

Yes, the products are completely different. They compliment each other very well. You don't need them both. However, if you use them both in conjunction you'll get more leads and potential clients and that's always a good thing.

I do have a site set up.

As far as keywords I just optimized for local relevant keywords, using the Google keyword tool.

I don't really talk about contacting the clients in either guide except my other one. Using that technique, generally speaking, it's best if you can talk directly in person to the owner face to face.

However, it will work using other means of contact. If you use this guide in conjunction with my other guide, you'll be targeting the best potential clients. This guide will show you how to find higher quality clients who will be more willing to spend money with you. This guide will help you to take the path of least resistance.

If you combine it with my other guide, even if you don't make a sale, you can still walk out of the meeting with the potential of putting some serious money in your pocket. You can leverage every sales call you make.

Even if you're cold calling and the potential client isn't interested, you can then use the tactics from the other guide to possibly get you business even though the potential client on the phone said they weren't interested in what you were offering.

You can use any one of these for contacting clients:

Postcards/fliers/letters

Phone calls

Emails

Craigslist/Classified sites

Hire a sales rep/sales team

I figure it's best to let each person decide how they want to contact potential clients, whatever you feel comfortable with. Let's face it, you have to eventually make contact with an owner at some point. There's no getting around that. Unless you have a full staff doing everything for you.

Thanks for the question.

I"m not really sure. It would depend on the product. If the product is for small business owners, yes, I believe my guide can help you. This is about how to find clients who will be willing to spend money with you by taking the path of least resistance and getting them to buy your offline services, whether it be for: Copywriting, a local portal site you want to sell advertising on, SEO, web design, Google Maps listing, etc...

It will help you find clients if you have any product or service that can help business owners. It will for sure help you find the ones who are most likely to spend money with you.

does this report have anything to do with emailing prospects on classified ads sites like craigslist or on freelancing sites, free or paid advertisements, or leaving the house to go look for clients?

Sorry, I completely missed this question, my eyes must be going. It doesn't rely on Craigslist/freelancing sites/or paid advertisements at all.

As far as emailing, phone calls, or leaving the house, you're going to have to contact clients somehow. Whether you want to do it by phone, email, or face to face will be up to you. This just shows you how to find clients that are more likely to buy. How you contact them will be up to you.

At the same time a few of the methods mentioned (not all just a few) do require you to be out of the house to "find" these clients. However, the rest you can do from home.
