- Can sell Standard Resale Rights (Your customers cannot sell to others.)
and
- CanNOT distribute raw contents (in any editable formats: MS Word, RTF, TXT, or others.) Your customers should not be able to edit/modify the product in any way. Only you (the legal PLR buyer) are authorized to do that.

Would I be allowed to brand a customer's copy with their name using something along the lines of viralPDF? Technically this would mean they are modifying the product - but I would control what they could modify.

This one could probably be worded better. (I'll fix it above.)
You can sell Resale Rights to your customers but they cannot extend those rights to anyone else. They can sell the product to others for personal use only.

Branding is fine, and yes, you can brand for your customers in the above manner. ViralPDF is fine if you control what they can and can't modify. (I'm assuming that ViralPDF is secure enough to where they won't be able to modify the rest of the contents in any way.)
