I have updated the tutorial to cover some of the many changes and improvements that have been made.

I'm excited with Atahualpa's potentiality in that it's flexible enough to adeptly accommodate websites, sales pages, squeeze pages and blogs!... and with your TUTORIAL... one can enjoy a vertical learning curve!!! Yippee!!! (LOL!!!)

Question-1: Do you personally recommend installing WordPress using Fantastico or prefer the standard install? (I've had some professional IM friends recommend not using Fantastico.)

Thank you so much for introducing me to the Atahualpa theme, I've been ignoring it
for a long time. Had I read your very well written ebook, even 3 days sooner, I would
have saved a days work tweaking a theme to almost look like I wanted it to. Even
down to playing with the php, just to make one column wider, another narrower. I
still wasn't happy with it. 30 minutes with your ebook, and the Atahualpa theme,
and I cracked it. This will be my theme of choice from now on.

FYI: The link in your book to show you the finished result goes to a non existent page.

Based on the considerable capabilities of Atahualpa and all the positive comments you've received for your tutorial, I'm really interested in buying a copy from you. I really need to fast-track up the learning curve.

Can you tell me to what extent is the latest version of your course applicable to the latest update (3.6.7) of this theme?

@ mKaneThere aren't many changes that affect the tutorial. The main one is that you can now install the theme directly from the Wordpress respository, whereas before you had to download and ftp it.


Some of the advanced options for editing the centre column now have to be done in the theme editor rather than the theme options, but I don't think any of those are in the tutorial.


You've just given me a kick in the right direction though, as the tutorial is due for an update.

Sorry to hear about your CFS. Can't imagine you getting much work done though, my friend had that and spent most of their time sleeping and walking around in a daze.

Good news is that their symptoms eventually passed using some sort of strict diet and a drastic lifestyle change to lower stress, etc.
