This looks good, but how much time do you have to spend on a weekly basis. Can you bookmark multiple url pages at one time? Last, how long have you been using this system? Is it up and running fine, or are you still working the bugs out?

Hi Jayson, Thanks for your questions! I'm expecting that this will be confusing to a lot of people because it's an entirely new system. As far as I know there's nothing else to compare SocialAdr to. The amount of time you spend is entirely up to you, but it's literally as simple as clicking one button to submit a webpage to all the services. I probably spend 30 seconds every day. Seriously ![]() There's a "credit" system in place to ensure fair treatment of all members and bookmarks, so if you don't share other members' bookmarks, they won't share yours. You can have up to 20 (with the AWESOME account) active bookmarks in the system at once. We started development in May, and beta testing in July (New Social Bookmarking Community Service - BETA testers needed!). There were about 40 beta testers so it's definitely been thoroughly tested. Like any system, there's a list of future enhancements, but all the necessary functionality works. So, to answer your last question...yes, it's up and running just fine! ![]() If you're unsure, I'd recommend you sign up for the FREE account to test it out before committing to anything. |

I'll be trying this tomorrow and add my 2 cents on what I think. If it is as simple as it sounds, then this one is a keeper. See you tomorrow!!

Don't quite get this. Are members supposed to bookmark each other's sites? Are there any restrictions on the type of websites allowed? Themes like sexual health, adult dating, are they allowed in etc?

Hi Gary, Yes, members bookmark each others (and their own) sites. But it literally takes 1 second to bookmark someone else's site to all 14 services (a click of one button). Here's the type of sites allowed, as specified in on our Terms: Quote:

Two more questions. Can you rotate your own bookmarks then, or is it limited to 20 total. I'm guessing that when you get the desired amount of bookmarks/backlinks for a page, then you can make another page active..correct? Also, can you have more then 14 accounts so that you can accumulate points faster?

alright, I signed up and added 8 accounts. It didn't take long! I shared 5 and it says that I'm at my daily max for the free account. 4 have been successfully submitted, but I don't have any credits. How does this work? It seems easy enough, but I think you need a better explanation of the service to get this to really take.

Hey Jayson! Did you not receive an email notifying you that the bookmark you "Shared" was successful? I see you have 6 "creds" now ![]() This means that if you add your own bookmark into the system, it can be submitted to a maximum of 6 services. The more creds you have, the more backlinks you'll get in return. If you go to the History - Shared Bookmarks page, you can see the listing of your Shares and which services were successful, and which ones failed. Here's the Overview, and it's definitely not perfect. If you can suggest an area that I need to make clearer I'd really appreciate it! Quote:

Alright, I see where I didn't have enough patience and the 6 credits updated. For anyone that wants to give this a try, make sure you add all 14 accounts before doing any sharing. I also didn't have one of the usernames typed in right, so that cost me too. It looks like You can get 5 shares per day to the 14 social bookmarking accounts which equals 70 credits per day... correct? In turn, you will get 70 bookmarks back to your own bookmarks. Gowing through this online system makes it really easy!! Do the bookmarks show up from different IP addresses though? Last, I had 6 credits and it shows that I had 1 share and am now back to 0. Does that mean that I received 6 bookmarks, or 1?

Hi Dave, It costs $14.50 per month to upgrade to the "AWESOME" account. ![]() If you compare this to something like "Angela's Bookmarks" (which I'm a customer of and love her service, btw. It's just the best comparison I know of):

It's best to setup as many social bookmarking accounts in SocialAdr as you can, prior to doing any "Sharing". Since it's a "community", the more you help others (by having more accounts setup), the more help (backlinks) you'll get in return. Quote:

Here is my opinion on this one. Assuming that the bookmarks are there, considering that I don't know how to check other then waiting to see them show up as backlinks, this is the easiest backmarking service around!! There is no other way I can think of to generate social bookmarking backlinks faster and easier. I'm all in on this one! It took me about 15 minutes to setup half the accounts, so 30 minutes total. All that is left is adding your own bookmarks and bookmarking others. It honestly is about 2 minutes worth of work per day max.

Thanks for your kind words, Jayson ![]() I think in your prior posts you've touched on some of the issues I have to tackle. The system can be a bit confusing at first, and perhaps I have to solicit an expert document writer to help with that. But once people figure it out most of them are like "Holy smokes this is awesome!" ![]() Quote:

Out of the 14 social bookmarking accounts, I have already 13 of them which was registered between 1 to 3 years ago and I have hundred if not thousand of bookmarks inside the account. I have used onlywire which will submit any of my new blog postings to some of the 14 social bookmarking accounts. Do you think I should open a new account just specially for this service to avoid any footprints as there could be duplicating bookmarking later on. By the way I have notice from the statistic that there is continual failed services for - Connotea (Spam!), Propeller (Unknown error). |

Hi Steven, It's up to you, but it wouldn't hurt to open up new accounts. Shouldn't take you more than 15-20 minutes to create new ones for all the services. I'll take a look at Connotea and Propeller. Occasionally services change how they accept submissions (as they all don't have public APIs) so I have to tweak my code. Quote:

I just wanted to add my comments to this thread. I have been using SocialAdr since it was in the beta test stage. I can honestly say it is the easiest way to get backlinks that I have seen. So far today, I have received 8 e-mail notifications that my bookmarks have been shared. At 14 backlinks for each time my bookmark is shared that is 112 links just today. I spend about a minute sharing other people's bookmarks, and I get links that would otherwise take me many hours to build manually. SocialAdr is a great service that I wish I would have thought of! |

1. Do you mean the high PR is inner pages? Or homepage pages? 2. Can this software search the high PR of inner pages? And the dofollow? |

| The homepages are all high PR, but it really depends on the service and how many times a bookmark has been submitted as to which inner pages (many of which are also high PR) the bookmarks show up on. Eg. I've seen a lot of the SocialAdr bookmarks show up on the Diigo "Hot" page, which is PR 6 ![]() Hot Bookmarks | Diigo Quote:

Hello, I think I am going to test out the awesome acct and see how my site responds but I do have a question Earlier, you said that you are limited to 20 bookmarks So does that mean I submit a page, it goes around the circle(or gets shared) 20 times...and then it hits its limit? Also, how many sites(pages) can we have in the system at any one time without having to spend more money Sorry if this has been addressed..I looked but couldn't find the answer -Mark |

Hi Andy, Sorry for your frustrations. Customer service is me. This is a 1-man show. I do my best to get back to people quickly but often life prevents me from making an immediate response (you just signed up about 2.5 hours ago). The only times it takes longer than a few hours is when I'm asleep ![]() I was having problems with the PayPal API so I disabled the automatic account upgrades. This is why I must do it manually now. I'll make an update to the PayPal order "success" form to make it more clear that there could be a delay. Sorry for the confusion. You should be all good now. ![]() Quote:

Hi Stan, Good question. I added this to the FAQ. It's entirely up to you, however since SocialAdr is a community, the more you Share the more other members will Share your bookmarks in return. Different account types are limited to how many Shares they can make within a 24 hour period (5, 10, 20), so check to see what your limit is. You'll also receive an error message if you've reached your limit. There's a couple reasons that these limits exist:

Hi Mark, With the AWESOME account, each webpage (URL) that you add into the system can be Shared by other members 40 times. And each Share can go to a maximum of 14 social bookmarking services. You are limited to having 20 of your own *active* webpages / bookmarks in the system at one time. You can actually enter as many as you want, but only 20 can be *active* (so other members can see them) at once. Hopefully that makes sense! ![]() Quote:

I have no problem with the limitation. However may I suggest that the limitation is based on daily basis instead of a 24 hour period. The reason: (1) When I share the bookmarks, I may be credited between 5 to 30 minutes later. It would be troublesome to keep tab on the time I need to share the bookmarks. I maybe ended in midnight or early in the morning a month later. (2) I will have to keep tab when the slot is available to share the bookmarks again so that I can earn credit or else my bookmarks will be in the cell. Practically I may have to employ someone to do the job for me. (3) By placing the limitation on a daily basis, I can share the bookmarks anytime of the day without affecting my schedule. |

You should be able to now ![]() I was preventing bookmarks with the same domain being added with URL variables (?=), because if a site doesn't have functionality to handle those variable you could add infinite bookmarks that are really just the same page. I've added goarticles and ezinearticles to the "safe list" so you should be able to bookmark the heck out of 'em now ![]() Sorry about that! Tough to find a balance between "keeping out the scammers" and "usability for the honest users" ![]() |
