One small issue is when I went back and loaded the same PDF folder, the IMPORT process recognized the links already signed up for. However, it did NOT recognize the sites I marked "Web site dead" or "URL not working". So, those I previously marked "dead" popped up again in the list of sign up sites.

P.S. I also PM'd you about fix for 24hourlinks packet. is this packet identified in your import drop down list?

UPDATE: I think I understand WHY the DEAD URLs reappear. Since the DEAD links are DELETED I assume there is no longer a record in the DB for that URL. So when reloaded from the PDFs the record is unflagged. Is that correct?

This would be if you re-installed or moved onto another pc / laptop. You may want to export out your profile data and links / link history and re-import them on a different pc.. ie.. you may be doing linking at home and decide to put the profiles etc onto your laptop to do some on the move..

The other functions (import / exports) are functions I will be adding in another update.

Yes Thats correct with the dead urls. They are deleted from the database, so would be picked up if you re-imported the links..

The 24hourlinks issue has been fixed.. and will be released with the updates this week. It was to do with the password encryption on the link packet. The test packets didn't have a password but it's all sorted now and works with the passworded files.

On the SEO stuff, i seriously don't mind answering any SEO questions that people have. But if it's an indepth discussion type of question related to seo then please just pm me and we can go through it in private.. I have lots of other warriors (normally around 40-50 seo / rss etc questions a day) currently do this and this is something I dont mind at all..

Hi Nigel, I'll look at this for you, it's an interesting idea.

I have added some buttons and additional update in this area for the latest updates.. I've added in..

Auto fill functions so you can select the auto fill for the following:

- description only with no links
- description with 2 html links (spun url's + spun anchor text)
- description with 2 BBCode links (spun url's + spun anchor text)
- description with 2 textile links (spun url's + spun anchor text)

These are choosable via radio button on the browser form, so a simple click sets up your option.

I've added an autofill button to save 3-4 seconds on the right-click auto fill
I've added a spin url + anchor text button

I should have this update out tonight.. It's been slightly held up as I'm looking to put an auto update function into the install, so no need for a manual db update to be carried out. This should make the upgrade a lot quicker and simpler

What i asked you to add a minimizing feature, add a feature to hold links to select or unselect rather than clicking on them one by one. So you did not add them and there is nothing new in the updated version and another thing that you promised that you are adding a feature that help us to import a directory but again if i import tamilseo links package out of 750 it uploading only 263. So what is the use of this software? It is not saving my time instead it taking lot of time than manual. I am really really disappointed with this service. I am not saying your product is not good but you have to improve your service.

I sent you a PM earlier, but have since figured out the problem...

I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed this out (sorry if they did, but I didn't have time to read through every post), but the software gives you an error when you try to save a website profile using an ezinearticles URL.

I think it has to do with the length of the URL (EZA URLs are pretty long), because when I shorten it up it let's me save the profile.

In reply to your update, I got it installed fine. But when I click the "add new site" button and put in the profile name, nothing happens....it just stays at that default profile and doesn't attempt to make a new one.

James, I'll be added some of these other function in the next update. On the tamilseo packages, the software already imports a directory of data upto 10 files at a time (this has been in since the software was released), I explained in the thread why this happens and if people wanted this changes but got no response, so put it on the list of things to look at in the next update.

The main functions people wanted are the functions that have been included in this update. I wanted to get this update out asap and to add in the other function on the list would have been a delay of at least another week.

The new functions implements have to be in a priority order of what most have asked for. You requests are on the list to be incorporated into the software and these are only functions that have been requested by yourself.

I would have to disagree with the level of service, everyone receives excellent service and will continue to do so.

One reason it may not be importing the links from a particular package is they already exist in the database.

There is url and anchor text spinning in the app... this was the main update. I'll be created more information on this feature in the next few days.

I'll look at the add/remove progs on this.. An alternative at the moment would be to provide the files them selves and for a manual copy to be done though I know from pm's a lot of people don't want that. I can provide an alternative update in this format though thats not a prob..

Steve service has been very excellent.
(You should be very careful when talking about this James, considering lots of people feel differently)

He provides extra update for free which I believe superb. and more to it, making program is very time consuming, so please be patient everyone.

The program loads much slower than earlier version and a couple strange thigns happening. For example, in Add New Website. I try to create new web site, put in new name in the Profiel Name box, then nothing happens, the site does NOT get created, and no error. ?? Tried a reboot but same thing happened.

P.S. For JAMES who made a negative comment about SERVICE, per my experience is a WAY OFF IN LEFT FIELD remark! So far Steve has provided Excellent Service...

I re-installed version 1.2.2 then did an upgrade and replicated the error.. It's now fixed.. and I've re-uploaded the update with the fix included. I've also uploaded a minor db script to run. So if any one else get this problem then please open the software -> click check for updates then click the 'v1.3.5Fix' link and run the file in the dbtool updates screen.

I apologize for any one encountering this error...

I'm new at this type of backlinking. I just bought your program yesterday and was playing around with it with 60 of Angela's links and about 800 of KKchoon's Nuclear Link Booster links and have a few suggestions and questions please...

1) Do you create a different gmail acccount with an alias for each site you want to promote with the links to keep track of things? So if you are creating backlinks for 30 different sites, would you create 30 different gmail accounts with 30 different names and use those 30 different email accounts and aliases to create a profile when we register?

2) Suggestion: Would it be possible to have a check box at the top for sites we created a profile but did NOT create a link and then have a button that will only bring up those sites when we come back a few days later to create the link?

3) Do you have a way for us to backup our work yet?

4) I think Nuclear Link Booster's links are to forums only and he says to create a profile with a link to your site and don't bother to post to the forum. Is that the case with Angela's links too, or are we supposed to go also post a comment? What is your opinion?

5) Suggestion: Would it be possible to put a PING button to pingomatic.com right there in the software? You know, one PING button to ping my 'about me' page or the page I just left a comment on??

Hi James,

can you goto the updates page and download the '1.3.5aFix' and extract the file and run it within the dbtools -> updates window. This will fix the issue. It was raised late saturday by a couple of people, so I investigated and created a fix then uploaded saturday night.

Apply the fix and if you get any other issues then please let me know..

Hi Steve,

You would need to create different profile email as most of the sites use the email address to verify that the account is not already registered. So if you wanted to create 30 separate profiles for your 30 different web sites you would need 30 emails. This is one of the burdens of link building.

You can however add sub urls to a web profile to spin the account urls between site in the software. So if you had related sites you could add another url or urls. The bio does add 2 url links back to your site in the format you choose.

ON point 2) this is what the software does by default. When you create your signup and not a link (this is the way I use the software), you simply navigate to the next site and the status is saved as 'link not created'. So when you come back say a week later you simply goto the 'create links' screen and choose your profile name then load the profile and links and it shows a list of all the sites you have still need to create a link on.

On point 3) I do have a backup facility planned. You can however copy and save (not move) the '.sdf' file to another location; this file contains all of your data. in winxp(it's found in your c:\program files\stephenhawkins\seo link builder\ folder. In vista / win 7 it's found in your c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\virtual store\program files\stephenhawkins\seo link builder\ folder).

On point 4) The same as kkchoons links, no post is required.
On point 5) I do have this planned as well as another quick indexing feature. You can already create an rss off your profile link. If yoou goto the profile / about me page and right click the mouse and choose 'add current url to rss' it saves the page (which you can also export).

On Point 6) this depends on what the site accepts as it link type. If it's a forum type depending on who it's 'powered by' it will be either html or bbcode.

On point 7) I moved the link viewer to the 'db tools / export files' area. Open the 'dbtools' screen and you will see a profile / links button. click that and you can view all your profile data / link groups and the links they contain.

it gives a more natural linking. For example if you have 2000 links you want to use to a single inner page of your site that is keyword optimized. Imagine how google would see a site that only has the same anchor text from every link to the page. it would still rank but it would not look as natural as 2000 links to a single page that have a variety of anchor text to the same page. the varying anchor text looks more natural so would gain relevance.

I've tested this on 2 sites for a client and the one with the non-identical anchor ranked a lot quicker than the other.. it also reduces the chance of getting in the so called google sand box for new sites.

So you can create ie.. some anchor text as -> my nintendo wii|nintendo wii consoles|nintendo wii games and use a single url of http://www.nintendo12345.com and the anchor will change each time you navigate to the next site or press the spin url button.

Gmail (last I heard) is making it more to create multiple new email addresses.

Maybe I'm not being clear here because there is either something wrong with the program or I'm doing something incredibly stupid here...which is possible!

I'm trying to see all the links I imported and saved which should be around 800.

I clicked on DB Tools/File Exports and then clicked on Profile/Links and there are three tabs (Delete WebSite - Delete Link Groups - Delete Individual Links). I can see the one website I set this up for under the Delete Website tab. Under the Delete Link Groups I can see only three links under angelas links and I imported 60 and then it shows only 86 links total within default_pr4_6, default_pr7, default_pr8, and default_pr9 and I imported almost 800 of the Nuclear Link Booster links.

Bottom line: The program only saved 3 out of 60 Angela links and about 83 out of 800 of the Nuclear Link Booster links...OR...it saved 83 of the Angela links (and I thought I only had 60) and saved none of the NLB3 links...AND...it does show a little 'Success' box saying that All Selected links saved successfully'...AND...it doesn't even show a tab/link named Nuclear Link Booster anywhere and I did save them as that. I also tried saving them (after importing) as Angela-MySite.com and NLB3-MySite.com but I see no where to access those. And when I save the Angela links it comes back saying that "all those links are already in the database" or whatever...but I can't find them anywhere once I save and close the list of imported links.

When I click on the Delete Link Groups tab, shouldn't it show me an NLB3-Mysite.com list of links? It doesn't. It only shows angela's links, and then the 4 other choices like default_pr4_6, etc.

What can I possibly be doing wrong here??

SUGGESTION: Put numbers on the list of links we imported so we can see at a glance how many links were actually imported.

Hi Steve, can you 'pm' more the version of nlb your using, the names of the groups your creating and some screen shot if you could.. I've import nlb 3.1 and it imported and was viewable via the dbtools..

All of your saved groups should show up in the links section itself..

If you can pm more info on this I'll investigate why its happen on your machine..

I will add Steves service has been phenomenal. Realize, this is a one time cost for a good product that continues to get better and better. The other alternative is we could go back doing these manually.

one more point to add as i am catching up here, if you have any issues, what i found to work great is record your screen and talk into your microphone on what exactly you are doing and what is going wrong. you can get jing free, great tool, if you dont have this yet, then you must get it, especially if you are using outsource help. and its FREE. just google jing.

Mr. Hawkins, whenever I try to apply the "1.3.5a" update, this is what I get:

Also, with this update, why don't I/we see the "HTML/BBCode" forms, whenever it comes to the profile creation? When I check the "DBTools" and look at the profile creation for my account, I see everything but the "HTML/BBCode" section, as it is left *blank* for some reason...

Hi Breakdance... Thats fine with the updates.. they are just debug messages for columns not present. I knew this would be the case for some seold users.

I changed the way the html / bbcode and textile code is generated. Before the update it was static but now it's generated dynamically based on the spun url and spun anchor test.

The profile / links doesnt now show the html or bbcode.. as its dynamically generated. I do need to remove them from that screen.

THANKS Mr. Steve for your consideration! BTW, when it comes to actually importing the profile packages, can you make an update so that it doesn't "restart" in another folder everything we want to import other packets? For instance, I could pick one packet, but then when I go to import another packet, it would go all the way back to the "C:" folder/directory instead of staying in the same folder that I got my packages from, LOL!

Also, when I try to save the "profile links", it would sometimes not show up in the same box as the "default pr7" link groups...am I doing something wrong, Mr. Hawkins?

Also, I remember reading earlier that you said that you create all of the accounts *first*, and THEN you go back and do the profile links...Even though I haven't done this *yet*, tell me why you do it, because wouldn't it be a lot less *tedious* to create the profile links if we do the same method as you?

yeah I'll look at the default for the imports dialog..

can you 'PM' me the data that your using when this happens and i'll check it out..

On the signup's.. I did testing on this of around 200 sites and found that a much higher percentage of links got deleted when I created a new account then created the link at the same time.. When I created an account and let the account for 6-10 days then created a link the stick rate for that link was much much higher.. So now I always create the signup first then leave the site for 6-10 days then create a link.. This way I ahve a lot more links stay in place.
