Can someone explain cURL, meaning how to I get it? I have the WP Robot free version until I can bring in more income, but it's not working...apparently I don't have cURL. I'm with Hostgator if that helps. I tried googling to figure it out but to no avail. Thanks *** Update: Nevermind... dummy here just needed to asked the hosting company instead. Voila! I have cURL. Thx anyway! |

I don't have WP Robot, but I do have Hostgator. It says here that they include " curl "... Web Hosting - Shared cPanel Web Hosting ...under " Supported Web Hosting Features". |

Update on the amazon issues - he's done a sterling job on getting the issues sorted, and has in fact delivered some additional functionality that was unexpected and very helpful. Still a great product (and worth every cent). Previous rant was made when 40+ autoblogs stopped working properly, so I was a titch grumpy. WPRobot = autoblog nirvana! |

I love WP Robot. Great Plug-in...worth every cent!! The only problem I've ever had with it is it sometimes pulls in an item repeatedly, and I have to go through and edit the extras...

Hi, I have very bad experience with the Amazon Autoposter plugin, which I think is part of the whole WP Robot Plugin. My sites made with the help of the Amazon Autoposter are dropping like stones from the Google SERPs. And I do not think this is a problem which is specific to the Amazon Autoposter. I think this problem is generic to all pure Autoblogs. And by pure autoblogs I mean those blogs wherein the site owner never added unique content to the site. So I ask this question to Lunatic, CAN YOU SHOW US SITES OR BLOGS WHICH ARE CONSISTENTLY RANKED ON THE FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE and which is a Pure WP-Robot Autoblog? John |

In either the free or paid version, can you set the postdate so posts are published in the future? Or do you have to set this manually? Thanks, Scott |

I'd be curious if others are experiencing any problems such as dropping from SERPs with this plugin. I'm sort of interested in getting it but I noticed one of my Amazon sites using another but similar plugin is dropping from the SERPs too. Anyone else experiencing similar to me and John Dales? I'd appreciate some honest feedback. Cheers |

@ promo_guy, John Dales: I do have several autoblogs using WP Robot that do quite good in the SERPs for several months already but I won't show the URLs here and I don't even need to because I don't promise any particular SERP results with using WP Robot (and anyone who does is a fool). All I do promise is that WP Robot will add targeted content to your site on autopilot, how you use this content is up to you. Still, here are some of my thoughts on the issue: 1) Seems like both of you were only using Amazon products for your autoblogs, which is a big mistake. From my own experience I can say autoblogs are doing much better if they use and mix different content from different sources to look more natural. This is part of why I created WP Robot in the first place and why it adds content from many different sources. 2) It is not really the point of autoblogs to get to the top of Google for competitive keywords because, let's not fool ourselves, it is more or less impossible. Google is not stupid and ranking on 1st page there for a competitive term with a 100% autoblog with barely any promotion done (which is usually the case for autoblogs) just won't happen. Because of that the trick with autoblogging is to: 1. Rank for "not so competitive" keywords by building blogs for small micro-niches or long tail keywords. 2. Building many of them. Most of my autoblogs only get 50 to 100 unique visitors (the most successful get 300 to 400), but since they are no work at all that is already enough to make them profitable. And once you get there it is only a matter of repeating the process and scaling it up. |

Does WP Robot pull a lot of keywords from one root keyword, and write one post on each keyword?

I don't think automatically deriving keywords from a root keyword would be a good idea because the content would never as accurate and targeted (important for SEO purposes) as with keywords you have selected yourself. | |

Ah, I just bought this off the web without seeing this special offer. Its certainly a great piece of kit. Good to know that I can use this code for people reading my site. Keep up the good work and will be awesome if and when you can add a search function to your forum and if you can allow us to use rss feeds of affiliate products too! |

For my own clarification, if I buy a developer's license, and flip a site utilizing WPR, is the new site owner entitled to free updates? And, if they are, do I take on the responsibility of getting the updates to them, or do they effectively have their own WPR license key to do the updates themselves?

Hi Lunatic I'm considering getting this plugin but I have one question before I buy: won't Google be able to detect the plugin footprint on your site and then start deindexing blogs built with this software? Thanks! Loz :-) |

I'd be interested to know this as well. Any updates from the dev on this question? Is there anything from Robot that is visible externally to Google or anyone else (functions, php comments, etc.)? |

Even though it was a Before purchase question I was amazed when I checked my email tab much later, and found that he had replied courteously and thoroughly - not long after I put in my request. I don't know if that's what would be referred to as answering emails, or not.

I'd just like to say to anyone out there even considering wpdirect.com or wordpress direct as its often called versus this product wp robot - Listen to this. wpdirect.com is far too expensive and way overpriced. I have used it for many months before eliminating my account and moving to wp robot. This is a far superior product, but people get used to the ease of use that wpdirect.com has and stay there wasting their money. The worst thing about wpdirect.com is that it really turned out to be nothing more than a platform for the owner to try to make tons of money from all his customers with emails of product launches since all they do is send you a new product launches from one of their JV partners literally every single week by email - I felt like I was being spammed by someone more concerned about his own profit stream than his customers well being. Can you imagine paying $250 a month and it taking 3 days to get your support requests responded to? I just experienced their TrafficLink software in their Platinum Account (yeah a bigger rip of $250 a month) and its promised backlinks from some wonderful network are subdomains off crap domains and blogs. Trust me, I have nothing to gain here other than being your guinea pig and telling you don't make the mistake I made of spending money at wpdirect.com - wp robot will do the same thing for a one-time payment for all of your blogs. Im not selling it - Im just an end user that is quite happy with wp robot and hope everyone uses it so the developer has plenty of cashola to make it a better product for all us. |
