I'm currently waiting on "TheDebtEliminator" to post some feedback, i won't say it's "perfect" however all bugs/quirks reported by out Beta testers have been fixed same day. Just today the proxy rotation algo got revised to ensure ScrapeBox goes longer on less proxies before seeing any "Automated Queries" notices from Google when doing heavy link extraction.

Hi Zubair, yes indeed. The download page will always contain the latest build, for instance in the last 48 hours it's had 3 minor fixes/refinements.

Customers will be notified of major changes, minor tweaks will just be pushed out to the download page if you want to stay on the "bleeding edge" as they say.

This way you won't be bugged with trivial things, but are informed about important changes. Also as mentioned, if it's something critical that impacts your ability to use the program it will be dealt with asap.

ScrapeBox is digitally signed by VeriSign with a valid software certificate, and contains it's own error reporting so you may email it to us in order to resolve any issues you have.

Hi Mifoxy, yes every internet operation the tool does (Scraping, Ping aka PRStorm Mode, PageRank Checking, Movable Type Commenting, and Wordpress Commenting) is run through randomly rotating proxies.

The Proxies checkbox is a global switch, tick it and everything runs through proxies.

Also useragents i didn't mention, ScrapeBox has a list of the internet's most popular useragents built in to it and these automatically randomize with each request. This is an evasive measure i guess you could call it, to make ScrapeBox impossible to detect.

I should of mentioned before also, the download page lists the MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 and build date to verify the integrity and version of the app. If you don't know what this means, you can just ignore it.

I'm still waiting for the reviewer to get back to me, i have to log off shortly 4:20am is way past my bed time (for the 40th night in a row) so any questions etc will be addressed first thing in the morning.

It's a little disappointing to pay the $50 odd to join and sell here, create a $50 discount for Warriors only to receive 101 PM's for "Free review copy plz" and the reviewer doesn't seem to of tested the functionality much at all.

We want to expand ScrapeBox based on user feedback, and create other time saving IM software in the near future. I'd love to give everyone who asked a free copy, i really would but we have poured many weeks in to ScrapeBox and will continue to do so and i feel the $50 discount off the normal price is great value.

Hi Mifoxy, unfortunately at the moment one license allows you to run it on one machine indefinitely and not multiple machines. This is something we will possibly look at in the future, allowance for a PC/Laptop installation under the one license.. But at the moment, the whole licensing system would need to be restructured/coded to accommodate this.

But you have a valid point, once the workload eases on ScrapeBox we'll look at changing that.

However for some good news, the CPU/RAM consumption on ScrapeBox has been seriously slashed today to almost nothing so it will run super on your notebook. Intensive stuff like Ping/PRStorm Mode hardly raises a sweat now along with some other improvements with the proxy checking and rotation.

The new build is available in the members download.

If your computer is broken, you won't be running it on 2 machines.. because one is broken. So you can do that, you will only have one active installation.

Unfortunately no sorry, the program prevents this (for obvious reasons) and that is dozens of users having it installed with the one license. So to make it simple and to clear licensing up for everyone as there's been a few questions about it.

1 License = 1 PC this is a single payment, and entitles you to updates and the ability to run ScrapeBox for life.

If your PC "breaks" just contact us with your original payment details so we can fix you up.

ScrapeBox has many uses, you can gather the top 50 URL's ranking for a list of keywords to import in to an SEO tool for analysis. You can easily retrieve every page on your site the 3 main engines have indexed using a site: footprint and keep a record. You can run a mass Pagerank check on all your pages and export it, do another after the PR update to compare them.

You can rapidly populate your blogs with comments, which is useful for mixing in other content when your blog is populated with duplicate Ebay/Amazon affiliate data feeds to add some "uniqueness" to your overall page. You can import URL lists, remove duplicate domains, trim all subpages to just the root domain. You can use it as a proxy list checker.

It has thousands of uses really, how you use it and what for is entirely up to you.

Version 1.0.0.3 is available in the download section. It contains:

For the first two questions, they are explained in the original post but i will run through them again.

Q. Do you offer a money back guarantee?

A. Yes, if the application fails to run on your machine. You must however co-operate with us and give us an apportunity to resolve your issue. ScrapeBox contains it's own debug analysis (See Example) which you can email to us. If you do this, and we cannot fix it you will be issued with a full refund.

Three of these have been sent in over the last week or so, and all have been fixed within hours.

I simply want to be able to use it at my PC and while i'm on the road for work (or vacation, or business trip or whatever) i want to be able to use it on my laptop too.

Thanks for your question.

ScrapeBox doesn't have a variable seconds delay, however the "Threads" setting operates in a similar way.

If you lower it down to 1 thread, only 1 page will be fetched from Google at a time. This closely resembles human behavior of doing a query and loading the first page of results, scrolling to the bottom, clicking page 2, scrolling to the bottom and clicking page 3 and so on.

This provides no stress on Google (or other engines) above what a human would do when conducting regular searches and paging through the results.

If we find that this is still too quick for users, we could possibly add it in the future.

The activation should of been pretty much instant. I wish i could avoid requiring people enter their Name, Email & Transaction ID in the app and submitting it but it's a little difficult with the current setup. Hey guys, I have this software. Im surprised at the few reviews it has gotten over here.

For anyone wanting to scrape URLs, find blogs to auto post to or ping it is great. It doesn't have great feedback on what it is doing but Ive found when you tell it to do something it does it. Ive had lists of over 5k pulled for fairly obscure keywords so it is great for pulling lists of URLs from all the search engines.

Removing results from duplicate domains is very handy feature for when posting blog comments and the blog comment posting itself is pretty speedy and is one of the features with decent user feedback so you can see where you are at in the scheme of things.

Running the list of blog posts it has commented on through my link checker verifies that it is in fact posting to these blogs and resulting in backlinks.

Its a very lightweight tool with a decent enough user interface. It doesn't mess around with useless fluff to try and please your eyes its a SE scraper with support for custom query strings and an awesome auto comment poster.

If you need any of these things from a tool you could do so much worse for the money.

Ok here is a quick review, I haven't used any scrapers before so I don't have anything to compare it to, but this does exactly what they say it does, it harvests urls for you without any fuss.

The first thing I did with it was try to harvest a bunch of the Wordpress MU blogs in Google, there are 250,000 results according to Google but of course it only shows 1000 at a time. This grabbed me 570 results, then after removing duplicates that went down to about 514. I thought that was a bit strange so I went through the results by hand and it looks right, after a bunch of pages then google gives you the message about all the other pages being the same, and even when I clicked on that I couldn't get anymore! So that number is probably spot on.

I spot checked the results and scrapebox had harvested all the urls I checked for.

I then had it grab the pagerank for me on every url as well. I was using 1 thread out of 10(?) as I wanted it to be as natural as possible so I didn't have to use proxies, it did all the harvesting in probably 20 - 30 seconds (didn't check at the time but it was quick) and checking pagerank took maybe 5 minutes.

I really like the url list section where it brings up your results as you can import your own lists and then get the pagerank on them (like lists of link places people give you), plus you can 'trim to root' so you just get the root domains and can check the pagerank on them or just export them. Plus it removes duplicates, but it does it in an intelligent way and recognises that a site with a www in front and one without are the same and removes the duplicate!

So this means I can take lists of urls I have for link building and spying on competition etc and quickly run it through there and clean it up, a really great feature which saves me messing round in Excel trying to do it.

I ran about 3 or 4 harvesting runs on it and did get blocked by Google temporarily for automated queries (after filling in a few captchas I was back up and searching ok - plus I have a dynamic IP so I wasn't worried), so I emailed Banks to ask if they would consider adding a feature like SEOElite where it waits a random number of seconds between queries. It is more important to me not to have to fiddle with proxies than it is to have all my work done in 10 - 20 seconds like it does at the moment, I want to have it running in the background as I work so if it takes 10 - 15 minutes instead of seconds then that doesn't bother me at all, getting blocked by Google does as it stops my normal searching too.

I sent the email on Sunday not expecting a reply until the end of Monday or Tuesday, I had a reply back in the early hours of today apologising for the delay in responding (that was not a delay!) and saying they had made the change I had requested and I could download the new copy from the download page.

Now that is service!

I haven't used the pinging feature or the blog commenting feature as I want it purely for harvesting and cleansing lists etc, but for that then I am very happy with my purchase and will be using this a lot!

Just make sure you know what you want this for, if you have no idea how you are going to use this then you probably won't make good use or it, I needed a way to harvest urls and this does that perfectly.

Yes to both your questions, ScrapeBox will do this.

You can type in keywords and tick the "Wordpress" footprint, ScrapeBox will gather blog post URL's related to your keywords from Google, Yahoo & Bing. Then yes, you can post to all these URL's using random names, backlinks, emails and rotating comments (which allow for spinnable tokens in each comment to make unique variations).

Also yes, you can submit any feeds to a list of RSS Services i've got about 40 services in there but you are free to add your own also so long as the service accepts a standard XML-RPC Ping. Just like the RSS ping lists you can paste in the Wordpress dashboard, if you find one of these published you can paste the exact list in to the ScrapeBox RSS Services file.

I'm not sure how to answer this, there are some similarities. For example i believe Xrumer harvests URL's, so does ScrapeBox and Xrumer posts to remote websites in an automated fashion and so does ScrapeBox.

However at the same time, they are quite different programs. There is 2 quick videos here:

The RSS feature doesn't need to create anything. It sends an XML-RPC ping to let engines know you have new or updated content, so you just add a list of your feed URL's to a file and click submit.

As for the Comment Poster, this got completely rewritten last night and it's quite fast now. It uses a DNS Pre-Cache function now also, because the commenter works faster than Windows can actually resolve the DNS so ScrapeBox even does things to overcome limitations outside it's control.

One by one, every feature now is being heavily optimized/rewritten for speed and stability.

ScrapeBox isn't an app that's pushed out and that's it, there has been many incremental builds and major ones also continually refining it based on user feedback.

Do you have any other plans for upgrades to be added? What about a social bookmarker, video submission, web 2.0 creation etc. Not much to ask

Hi Big JP,

With the dofollow, at the moment no because trying to pick out Dofollow/Nofollow on a page isn't highly accurate without a boatload of code. Many sites have a mixture of link types and the HTML that says "this is a comment" or "this is a trackback" or even "this is a link to the contact page, archives" etc is theme specific in many cases.

Unfortunately if something's not 100% bulletproof, people will complain they harvested 1,000 URL's and 10 were Nofollow.

Also a lot of the dofollow search engines i've reviewed are a little inaccurate or out of date. But certainly if you find lists of Dofollow sites, you can put site:dofollow.com in the harvester and collect all the posts on the site, check the pagerank and post to it.

New features have been added since it came out, like the RSS Submitter, Proxy Checker and so on and it will continue to improve. I can't promise video submitters, account creation etc but who knows what will pop up in the future.

For the past 5 days hundreds of hours has gone in to making it faster, more accurate and stable than before. This IMHO is more important right now than simply piling new stuff in.

It's best to provide your own, if all the ScrapeBox customers use the included proxies they would get killed within hours.

I watched the 2 other's above, I don't understand why you collect the URL's then ping them, wouldn't you do this after posting a comment, not before?

Also, the RSS feature is just a pinger, not a submission, rite?

Hello Big JP,

I don't have a video doing mass commenting, i personally don't own enough blogs to show a decent run and if i harvest a random sample and video it i'm sure somebody will pipe up saying they seen their blog being posted to and complain. I hope you understand.

But submission is about 10 Blogs per Second on a decent connection, and around 75% success rate. The ones that don't succeed either are 404, have captcha, comments are recently closed and that sort of thing.

The reason it's so fast, it uses an internal DNS Pre-Cache system on the blog list you are posting to plus auto optimizes the "Threads" setting internally so there is no need to guess the right amount of threads for your PC/Connection like most tools.

Normal "Ping Mode" is very simple:

You can see i simulated some clicks to the ScrapeBox domain from Google for the keyword "Test". Also if you go here: maddox.xmission.com/statistics/statistics.html

Scroll to #84 and you can see the ScrapeBox.com domain, i simulated clicks from ScrapeBox to the Maddox site. So you can put your domains on "Recent Referrer" widgets, make fake traffic logs to show affiliate companies, increase article/profile/videos views on various Web 2.0 sites etc.

Simple, but it has a lot of uses i've had brand new domains indexed in under an hour with it.

RSS yes it send XML-RPC pings to places like Google Blog search, Feedburner, Technorati etc just like your ping list in the Wordpress dashboard.

But, you can do your Squidoo's, Hubs, Digg profile, Twitter profile or any page/domain that provides an RSS feed to get Google on them fast when you update.

You are free to add/remove ping services from the list, and you can mass ping for example every page in your link wheel or every blog you own in one go.

Ok here is a test run i done on 1,000 blogs, as i mentioned i'd just prefer not to show the blog URL's posted to i hope you understand my reasons for this.



This works out at 14.9 comments per second, you will be hard pressed to find anything that comes close to this in terms of speed and ability to hit comment forms so accurately.

Hi dockrue,

I don't have a video for similar reasons to the comment poster, but how it works is you can harvest or load a regular blog URL list you don't need any special Trackback URL's in the list ScrapeBox handles this automatically. So you can just load the same list you used in the comment poster.

Now not every blog has Trackbacks, but you can add a footprint in addition to ticking the built in Wordpress one to specifically harvest Trackback enabled blogs like so:



Then posting speed:



That's 10 Trackbacks i sent to my own blogs in 1 second, i'd say it might be little slower than the poster but i'm not aware of any Trackback Poster this fast.
