Is it not possible to sell on Amazon uk? Thus avoiding the filling of forms and income being held back. If you live in the Uk I mean.

I got this because a few of you said that you could use GIMP, but I don't see anyway to save my cover as a PDF in GIMP so for those of you that said you can use GIMP how do you save the cover as a PDF in GIMP? Clint |

To the people that are using this method, are you buying your own ISBN numbers or are you using the ISBN number supplied by create space? I read that you make more if you have your own ISBN number because you can sell anywhere, but they can get expensive if you plan to write say 100 books, and I am just wondering which is better to do. If you just use create space's ISBN number does the commission really add up to anything significant?

so it seems a likely solution to your thought might be to get your own isbn for products you might want to sell elsewhere.....and allow createspace to issue you an isbn for books that utilize jessica's method or anything resembling it. of course getting your own isbn does not prevent you from selling the product on amazon as well, or allowing createspace to publish the books for you either.

Although I purchased this WSO earlier I am glad I came back and read this thread. Copy and pasting everything into PSD to create the PDF's was painfully boring. But I got it done. Glad to see I can just use Open Office instead. I will probably outsource my covers from now on as well. But the good news is that I am waiting for my review copy and hopefully my book will go live next week. And Yes! It only took me 1 day to write. Next step is to get it on Clickbank. |

I have been a member for a long time but mostly lurking. Lately, I am visiting this forum more often. I have to say that this is probably the best purchase I made. I am an avid reader and prefer short reports compared to videos and long books and Jessica did a tremendous job of creating short but definitive report. I am going to put it into action and see the results. Meanwhile, I would other warriors to come forward with their results. thanks |

Hi, I bought this WSO and it is doable but Jessica I wonder if I can use this method using ebooks/books with resell rights. I know that we can buy resell rights on ebey for less than one dollars. |

also the competition would hurt you.....with a dozen people selling the same product why should anyone buy the one you are selling over all of the other sellers. better to create your own....charge a price that you can make a profit with.....and cut down on the number of competing products imho.

I have a quick techie question. There is a 100mb limit when uploading your PDF to Create Space. I have a book which I finished and I have saved the individual pages as PDF's but I can't seem to get them under 1mb. I had a 78 page book finished and when I merged the PDF's I was at 180mb. How do I get around this? Thanks, Bryan |

I'm not sure how (what program) your using to merge the pages, but if your filesize is too large you might lower the resolution of your pages, resolution and file size are related... Quote:

Ok I bought into this because of curiousity and I must say I got shocked when I discovered how short the report was! But the idea is good I guess. Here's something I would like to know more about: How to go about if you wanna make other types of books than the secret method. The example page in the report looks very professional. How do we make professional looking pages like that? I also noticed in the short video that shows how to make the cover that the cover you were using for your own book looks totally different and much better than the cover you showed us how to make. How do you make the good looking covers? Do you do it yourself or do you outsource? |

Hi Mathias, Here's something I would like to know more about: How to go about if you wanna make other types of books than the secret method. The method will work with any type of book you want to publish. However, the method I show is specially designed to help people write books really fast. The example page in the report looks very professional. How do we make professional looking pages like that? It depends on your design skills. To get a professional looking page like that, you should use probably use graphics software like Photoshop --although this is not essential. I also noticed in the short video that shows how to make the cover that the cover you were using for your own book looks totally different and much better than the cover you showed us how to make. Design is a matter of taste. I prefer the design in the video The cover you're referring to took about two minutes to make as it's just a few coloured rectangles. How do you make the good looking covers? Do you do it yourself or do you outsource? I made the covers myself in less than a couple of minutes, with very basic design skills. If you outsource you'd probably be looking at $5-10 for a quick design. Thanks and feel free to PM me if you have any more questions. Thanks again to everyone for all the positive reviews and PMs! Jessica |

Obviously Jessica's videos are just examples. We will have to create our own book cover styles. So outsourcing might be a good option for some of us.

Okay, I purchased the book - read it (5 mins) - and digested it. My opinion? This is pure dynamite! Simple, straight-forward, to-the-point. You can think of it as a hobby that makes real income. Just get into the habit of putting together these books each week - figure two to three per week - and your income will continually grow as the months go by. No need to revisit each book project again like you would with a website or affiliate program. Personally, I hate SEO, backlinking, continually checking pagerank and all the rest of IM "Dancing." This strategy is a breath of fresh air to me. There are a couple of things that I would suggest if you wish to pursue this business full-time: 1) Pay attention to proper keywords relating to the book's topic. Use Google Keyword Tool to find High-Search, Low-Competition keywords to include in your titles. Might as well get all the juice you can from the search engines!Selling physical books on Amazon is an amazing concept. And don't worry about saturation - there are more than enough topics to write about to keep ten thousand writers occupied full-time and still not really scratch the surface of the market. I fully support this business model. --JR |

Hi, everyone. I purchased about a month ago. I agree with JR and everyone else who gave great reviews for Jessica's WSO. I'm pumped up about this! As JR mentions, you will need to format the book properly. Somewhere else I read that you can use MS Word 1997-2003 (not 2007 because it is faulty for this purpose) if you don't want to or cannot use Photoshop, as Jessica does. It was recommended that you read Perfect Pages by Aaron Shepard. I went to Amazon to look for this book and it had nothing but stellar reviews. So if you want to format your book using Word, you may want to look into this. Best wishes to all of you with this great opportunity. Those of you who get results, please keep us posted. Ina |

Hi to all, I have just purchased today and wanted to ask a question to others who have also bought. This concerns the research phase for each book. I'm doing some forward thinking and am sort of halting slightly with the part of actually filling each book with reliable and knowledgable content in a niche I'm not familiar with. Are there good solid methods for being able to do this or is it just a case of picking up already known and circulating pieces of info off the net and formatting them into book form and putting it on Amazon? John. |

I've only really had time to try and put this into practice today (another project is taking priority). I haven't actually followed Jessica's method of writing a book as I already had two that I wanted to sell via Amazon. Just a few things for a heads up: At least to UK sellers the money you'll get is 40% not 50% of the sale price. No idea if this is the same to sellers from the US If you are using the MS Word & PDFing via Open office them remember to make the size of the page the right size ie the size that you need to submit. I've got a 92 page book on A4 size at 12pt font that I submitted and now have to completely re-do the layout and change page numbers in the contents page etc. BTW what's the standard font for a normal book on a 5.25 x8 inch page? |

Also, writing a book a day is just to make this WSO selling. There is absolutely no way to write and publish a book a day... And the estimates to sell at least one book per day for each title are also too optimistic. I have read on the createspace forum that on average createspace authors sell 14 books/title every year... Sure you can do better than the average...

At the moment, I have to agree with wm00. I haven't bought this WSO, but reading through the whole thread has brought me to the conclusion that "One book a day" is a bit unrealistic. Even one book a week (consistently) would be hard to achieve. The thread is only this popular because of the title and claims made in the OP in my opinion. I agree it would be a great hobbie for which you get paid a decent return as stated by a previous poster. Jessica has averaged one book per 35 days by her own admission despite this being her "MAIN Money Making Method". A similar offer on digital point reads: Ebook: The Secrets for Writing 1 eBook Per Day This ebook will guide you step by step how to write 1 ebook per day for profits and make money online. 1. Think of a topic. 2. Search forums for original ideas on the topic and keep the best. 3. Write these ideas in your own words. 4. Put these words onto pages in Photoshop. 5. Design cover. 6. Submit cover and pages to Createspace. 7. Receive proof copy and check box indicating satisfaction with proof. 8. Your book goes live on Amazon in a week or less. 9. Obtain reviews and tags for your book. 10. Rinse and repeat. Price: $10 only. Payment: Paypal & MoneyBookers He didn't get any sales because the whole process is laid out in the Offer. My Questions to those who have bought this (and to Jessica) is: I assume there must be more in the report than an expanded version of the Digital Point Offer quoted above? Are the secrets contained within the 7 page report really worth the $37 being asked? I'm sure many reading this thread would like some reasurance before purchase considering some of the seemingly conflicting statements made thoughout the thread. Don't misunderstand me here. Since several luminaries who's views I respect are also commenting here, I keep thinking that there must be something revolutionary contained within it. I have been interested in this as an income stream for some time and if the report does contain valuable information over and above what I've already reseached, I'm in. |

Hello, thanks again for all the positive feedback everybody! @Mark, there is a lot more to my WSO than the other the WSO you describe above, including inspirational advice for generating new book topics It does take work, but a book a day is certainly achievable. Nothing is impossible, including writing an ebook a day. Scroll back up the page and you will see that fellow Warrior Colin Palfrey posted that he has been writing 5 books a week using my method. As you say, it could be a "great hobby for which you get paid a decent return" for some people. But it could be the main money-making method for others. Factors from how well you choose your topic to how much time you are prepared to devote to using my method will affect how well your books perform. This thread is popular because my WSO works!! Please check out the many happy and positive comments about my WSO, to verify that it is more than just an expanded version of the list given above. Thanks! Jessica |

Hi Jessica Thanks for your quick reply. I agree that many posters remain as exited by your offer after purchasing which suggests you do have a genuine model. To many battered war-weary warriors it will seem like mana from heaven or a breath of fresh air being so different from what we're accustomed to seeing. Perhaps the indifferent posters/buyers are either not quite as "in tune" with the idea once their initial excitement wanes, or are not confident about generating ongoing new ideas (I'm in the latter camp). And as you point out, I can't argue with Colin's accomplishment and endorsement (so far). I suppose to be honest, it did surprise me that you haven't done more with it yourself. Forgive me if I drew the wrong conclusion from that. @Colin, Are the books you've writen so far all fresh ideas/topics (which you would credit to the reports inspiration) or are they based on previous research from sites / articles, etc? Mark writes: "I suppose to be honest, it did surprise me that you haven't done more with it yourself. Forgive me if I drew the wrong conclusion from that." I had the same thought, Mark, but Jessica told me she uses pen names. So, she probably has done this a lot, when you add up her pen names. That having been said, the only criticism I have of Jessica's report is that I would've enjoyed seeing MORE examples...more "success stories." Either from Jessica herself or from others who used the system. BUT... Jessica, I think your product is awesome. Great concept. Lots of potential. And I do recommend the investment to anyone still considering this. |

What type of writing experience do you recommend? From what I've read it seems simple enough but should you expect a hassle if you have never done any formal writing except for school work like essays, with English being your first language? I am interested and like reading, but am not much of a writer. |

lmeyer writes: "I am interested and like reading, but am not much of a writer." I would say that Jessica's system is great for those who don't like to write or for people like me who enjoy writing, but have trouble finding the time to do it. Her technique re: fast writing is perfect for either above group. |

Any other investments involved apart from perhaps investing in a software like Photoshop? I have written poems, generic articles covering a wide range of topics and have done a few IT project reports over the years. But I don't have any more writing skills beyond that (atleast for now). Do you think it's still a realistic project for me to embark on? Thanks ever so much. |

Two a week seems about ideal to me. But, even at only two a week, remember that after you finish a project, you never have to re-visit it again. It stays on Amazon forever (whatever forever means in the online world, that is!) Each book project you complete represents some amount of income - whether it be $50 or $500 per month. It will simply roll-in month-after-month. The more projects you do - no matter how long they each take - the more income you will make over the long haul. This is the "Secret" that thrills me about this business model! Regards, --JR Rich
