Actually I started writing the report before I knew about reviewPress. When I heard about it, I purchased it immediately so I can compare it with mine. Neil's is good if you want to get started quickly since he sells a template that works with the plug-in straight away, but if you want to use different template, you need to know the tricks, and my report is all about teaching you how to modify the template.

As for the picture, as I mentioned in one of my posts above, you can add them manually via WordPress insert picture feature. I haven't include an automatic workaround in the guide yet, but it can be done easily. (The workaround is similar to the automatic inclusion of affiliate link/product link as in the guide).

However, I'll include it in the guide soon, and you'll be notified when I do that.

As I said before, the demo site is using the default WordPress theme (Kubrick). Using the guide, you can customize any other themes easily. But I recommend you use the default theme first to get the hang of it before trying it on other themes.

If so, can we change them in each section? For instance, category 1 has five product reviews with three areas to rate (like Support, Ease of Use, Features), while category 2 has four products and three different options (like Easy to Understand etc.). Is that possible?

Yes. You can change them. No problem.

I tested different rating categories for different review categories on my other site, and it works. However I did not cover this in the guide. Will definitely include it when I update the guide.

But once you know how to use SB_Review, you can easily set it to suit your needs.

I am very interested in getting your product but the guy that wrote the same code you are using (Dan Grossman) says here http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-part-1-a.html (see his post near the bottom of that page) that he won't be updating the code anymore and it will break your theme once WP 2.7 comes out (which is supposed to be very soon). According to him, the only way to get the updated review site code you are using is to buy his much more expensive package.

Can you please tell me what we can do about that HUGE issue? Will you be updating the code so it will work with WP 2.7 and beyond?

Yes, SB_Review is based on Dan's free script he released earlier before he sells his premium package. However, according to SB_review creators, they had to extend his script a bit to make it possible to have different rating categories and designs. Also they wanted a star based rating system for their project and needed to ensure that the same visitors can not vote multiple times on the same topic.

That was written months ago and there's still been no active development of SB Review since 0.9 beta in 2007. I think it's safe to say SB Review is not being updated.
