Will you keep it updated so NEW viruses, trojans, etc will be detected by the program? And, what did you mean by (7) ? |

I mean, Windows 7 the upcoming version of windows. Hacker Analyzer is not an Anti-Virus program. There is no database to update. It is a tool used to track and trace changes made to your computer caused by potentially malicious files you have opened. With Hacker Analyzer you can now fully analyze and understand how to reverse these changes manually. This is not an automated solution. Please watch the Video Demo to understand how Hacker Analyzer can be used to Defend Yourself from viruses: Hacker Analyzer - Video Demo |

How will I know I've downloaded a virus if my anti-virus software doesn't catch it? I mean, it's not going to be named "virus.exe" If my anti-virus software doesn't catch it, then I won't even know I HAVE a virus... unless your software somehow alerts me. I've watched your video, and that seems to be the missing piece of the puzzle. |

You need to Analyze your log files yourself and cross check with your process manager. Some knowledge of security is required AND recommended if you want to keep yourself COMPLETELY secure. There is no anti-virus software program that uses a virus definition database which can protect you 100%.

Kayzne, You've left one large and very important area out of this software. Most FUDS will indeed write to the windows directory, in fact they will write virtually anywhere. The one place they will install 99% of the time is in your registry however and they will self propogate after every restart of your PC. Simply deleting a file that has been created on the first run of the virus WILL NOT clear the virus. In fact most times you will not be able to delete the file anyway because it would have latched on to a system process or spawned itself to further windows processes loaded into memory, which will then kick in again after a reboot. I guarantee that if you run any number of software key generators out there downloaded from usenet or torrent sites, you will be infected, and remain infected even after you have deleted the original file. If I could see your software defend against those kind of attacks then it would be worth a look, however it looks like the software leaves out the registry, does not scan on startup and even if it did scan on startup, I would not be able to stop it as it would have already been executed. I simply would'nt have a chance to check the log as shown in the video. Regards Jeff |

The system start up simply looks to the file (application) and runs it.

Hi, I'm interested in this WSO but have a few questions. How do we distinguish bad files/programs from good in the Hacker Analyzer log ? When we instal clean legit programs won't they still show up in the log files ? Does this come with any in depth help files for interpreting the log files correctly. I'm just concerned that I may inadvertantly delete something from the Windows directory that I shouldn't. Steve |

It's not going to be called "Iamavirus.exe" is it ? If I download file called setup.exe that contains a FUD and has a hidden payload that is deployed silently how do I know it has done that ? All the files deployed may be perfectly harmless and not activate for days, weeks or even months. How do I know they have been activated if there is no alert ? Are you saying that after every program I run I have to check the logfiles? How would I know what is a safe exe and what us an unsafe exe ? I think we'll have to agree to differ on the effectiveness of this software. Jeff P.S. I just purchased the software so I could see if I was missing anything obvious.

Hi guys, I was lucky enough to purchase Hacker Analyzer at $9.95. Anyone who is sitting on the fence at all, I highly recommend you act now. $9.95 is a super sweet deal with this amazing tool Hacker Analyzer. In the few hours that I have had this, it has already picked up some attempts of programs that have been scanned to be a virus of some sort. Ive managed to clear all of them out and then after a registry cleaner check, I found that there were no nasty registry's added. What the amazing thing is though, is that I have Kaspersky, Nod 32, Webroot and McAfee all installed on my computer. And none of them picked up these viruses that the Hacker Analyzer tool did. I think its safe to say that I feel pretty confident now with downloading more files and also recieving files from my friends over instant messenger and things as I feel a lot safer with Hacker Analyzer by my side. Thanks Kayzne for a great WSO. PS: Im surprised this hasn't sold out by now. $9.99 is a walk in the park for what this can save you. |

Well, I never use it to scan installations for programs from trusted vendors. I monitor before and during running keygens, cracked software, games, and most Internet Marketing software/bots that are sold. It's a last defense. Quote:
All viruses are different, and copy themselves to different directories, you need to exercise caution when deleting files, for some might not be harmful. Most applications copy files to their program directory, and most servers copy themselves elsewhere, it's a matter of knowing what to look for, this is not a tool for people who have no idea what they are looking for. Experience with viruses is an asset. To be honest, I hope this thread can be a wake up call for those who have no idea what they are supposed to look for. Security is not something to take lightly. One little tip, a lot of people will create viruses in similar names to existing files. explorrer.exe is an example. Do your research Folks!

You said (and I quote from one of your responses): "it's a matter of knowing what to look for, this is not a tool for people who have no idea what they are looking for. Experience with viruses is an asset. " Unfortunately, even after teaching computer programs for over 20 years and working on the internet for 11 years, I would have NO idea what to look for. I'm sure this is a great tool for anyone who is a super-techie and does have experience with viruses and could identify a virus and whether or not it has been added to the registry, etc, etc. Unfortunately, that's probably 1% of the people in this forum... and I definitely do not fall into that category. A few hours ago, I PM'd a request for a refund. I told you that, based on your answers to the questions, it was obvious I would not use this program. I told you I didn't install the program and, since it is protected with a register key, you would be able to ensure I didn't use it after the refund was processed. However, I have not yet received a refund, and you haven't responded to my PM (although you have posted to this thread since the time I PM'd you). I would very much appreciate a response. |

Weird... I checked my paypal account before I posted the above message, and it did not show the refund. However, I thank you very much for standing behind your product and issuing the refund. I watched your videos before purchasing, but made the error of buying before getting my questions answered because I wanted to jump on the lowest price. Guess that was a bit naive of me, and I won't make that mistake again. I WISH I were technically saavy enough to make use of your software. I believe, for those persons who are, it will be a wonderful addition to their internet armor. |

Just purchased a copy of Hacker Analyzer. I just want to say thanks Kayzne for helping me defend my computers on the interweb. I will have this software running all the time when ever I download a torrent (or anything really).

Hi Kayzne, thanks for the great offer. I just bought and am eager to get my registration code. I'm assuming the logs can be copied, and perhaps saved to a folder for later comparison. Anyway, any program that keeps track of "where things disappear to" is welcome to me. That's the universal question, "ok, i downloaded it - now where the %#@! did it go?" And NO program is ever going to be perfect, but for $10 - any help against virus writers is very welcome. A no-brainer for me. Thanks!! ![]() BTW - will Hacker Analyzer keep track of (clean) new downloads/installs, in case we forget where we put them? lol Follow-Up: Thanks for the fast registration code. BTW, your program has a very low usage of system resources, and because of that I've put a shortcut into my start-up folder so it will run all the time. Can I monitor the whole Local disk C, or is it better to just monitor the Windows folder? I use XP sp3. Thanks! |
