Hi Josh, You just came in at the right time! Was killing my dedicated server because of too much traffic on my video squeeze page. Was looking into S3 BUT Thanks to you, no need to hire anybody because I can do it myself or hand it over to a clerk. Great. Will let you know once your software is in action. PM me before your launch, I could send you a some real traffic and earn on this great product:-) Take care, Volker |

I keep getting a page not found error after the install. I found the problem is that I can not set 777 file permissions for config.php or the assets/temp dir or anything else with Hostgator unless it is converted to a CGI script. Nor can I with Blue host. These are two of the top 3 hosts around. Is there a solution to this? Thanks |

Another question.. I noted in you example video that you are using flowplayer as a base for this. I assume you are using the opensource version?

| Christian - Yes the hostgator issue was covered earlier in the thread. ![]() This bug has been fixed in the new version now available in the download area. Malice95 - Yes you can embed anything you like into the video as it allows any HTML to be embedded in, so you can embed the premade buttons, buy now buttons, opt in forms or embed any HTML you like, this could be your own html code or adsense ads etc.. If you just want to redirect to another page however the product does have a built in auto redirect feature. To redirect automatically to any url at the end of the video is as simple as just ticking the check box and typing in the url that you want to automatically redirect to and you are done! Have a look at all the positive feedback people have given it earlier in the thread and you will see it gives you ALOT of powerful options and is real easy to use. (And yes we use Flowplayer as the base to power the actual player part of the software. This is one small part of the whole software product obviously as it is a whole video marketing solution rather than just a player. It has all the above features plus alot more customization options, easy Amazon S3 integration and professional tracking analytics built right in for your videos which includes the option to track sales if you like.. We went with the actual player at the heart of it because being powered by a tried and tested player solution is an obvious benefit for our users when combined with our softwares features) Quote:

Hi Josh, Installed your software, everything is fine but a little 'design' thing: The tabs doesn't show properly, neither in Firefox (latest version) nor IE (latest version) Any idea why? Cheers, Volker |

The TMP Folder is empty. Can this be the problem? And which version is the one to download. There is one that comes with the confirmation mail which is evp-1.0.4-1304 and the other one on your download page (including the video tutorials) which is evp-1.0.5-1377. Both tmp are empty. Would appreciate to get the great software going, maybe a problem that I don't see or a mistake I am making. Regards Volker |

AJ Silvers - Thanks for the feedback, I do recommend watching all the video instructions to install. These are right on the install page and much more in depth than the text ones and take you step by step through the whole process, from install, to using the program and its features. As for the issue, that sounds like a specific problem you are having, if you email support@easyvideoplayer.com with your ftp details and install url we will get it fixed for you ASAP and also come back with clarification of why its happening. Enjoy the product! Grab your copy quick, the price bump is just around the corner and there are limited copies left.

Sorry if this question has been asked before as I read the first page & the last page only. Can I use any other video sites content, of course embedded on my own blog with this system or does it have to be AWS3. Ideally I would like to enbed a youtube vid and use your system to offer an optin / cpa offer at the end etc. Also can the HTML be embedded at any place on the video or is it just at the end only when the video has completed playing, something like a fsk editor. Thanks |

Regarding the question about the pricing on the main site. The site has not launched yet, that page was originally up for Warriors (the link sent them there originally) and had the pricing for this WSO on it. We are in the process of getting the main site ready for our Dec release of the product and you will notice if you visit the site now and try to buy the price is set at $127. AJ Silvers - Quote:

Okay, here is the scoop on installation issues: 1. When I purchased, I was forwarded to Warrior Plus for download, and I got the older version. I later learned that there is a new version that fixes issues. When I installed the most up to date, installation went fine. So, make sure you get the new version 1.0.6. 2. When I purchased, I got a zip with script and installation .html instructions. The instructions stated to create a database, and NOT to set all permissions, but only 4 of them. I later got the video tutorials after opting into Josh's list, not on the original download, so I had no idea where the video tutorials were at first. You will want to set Permissions to ALL for your database. 3. You CHMOD 777 the assets and the tmp directory, and all files in them. In the .html instructions, it only says the tmp. So, you will want to do both. That clarifies things for anyone. Once I did all this, the installation went accordingly. I do have a product feature questions: I'll email Joshua on these. Over all, it appears to be a solid product on my first test video. Actually, must more stable than QVO and others out there. Thanks again for a nice WSO. |

Update for everyone, the issue that caused an error message to be shown during installation for some Hostgator users has been fixed in a recent upgrade which is now live in the download area! Mark Dulisse - Thanks for the post, Once your purchase completes you are automatically redirected to the download page which has all the instruction videos, these clarify everything clearly. It seems you did not get redirected for some reason, hence your confusion. (I have updated the text docs based on your feedback) Only a few copies left at the current price.. If you are thinking of grabbing a copy before the price goes up, have a quick look at just some of the amazing feedback we have had from fellow Warriors: Unsolicited Testimonials From Warriors: Quote:

There is no customer support faster or better than what these guys provide! Josh, thank you for your professionalism at all times! This install was something I was not looking forward to because of my past experience following directions for using FTP client software and setting up my own websites. Bad experiences every time, but this install here went as Smooth as butter, seriously! I would have paid triple for this incredible product and that would be way too little! I have to echo Jeff and the others that have posted about the support. Quote:
The support I have had has been nothing short of amazing! I have purchased products for 100x the price of this package and never had the level of support and commitment to tracking down a very obscure bug! What is even more impressive was Josh & Marcs response to add further codec support. The new version (released 15mins ago) now supports h.264 .mov (quicktime) files. I produce a lot of movies using Final Cut Pro & Screenflow. Not having to recompile and export to .flv or mp4 has saved me 30-40 mins per video (on short training videos) and 1-2hrs on larger movie files! To put that in perspective, I am part way through a 13hr training course with over 100 videos. Josh and Marc have saved me DAYS and DAYS of time! Not bad for $67

| peterbras - Yes EasyVideoPlayer masks the url to the video with a series of security features to make it hard to find for people wanting to rip them. We have a free upgrade scheduled within the next few weeks which will add in a time expiry url feature so that the url changes each time the video is requested (invisibly in the background) so that no-one can find the url and link to your video. (Great for security of your videos!) The same upgrade will also include advanced domain restriction so that you can select to only play/embed your video on a particular domain to stop people embedding them elsewhere. This would give you some of the best security options available for securing your videos as well as all the other powerful features of EasyVideoPlayer. The price will bump up to the next level soon as only a few copies are left at the current price, so grab your copy now. |

Hi Josh, Just finished a webconference where I've invited some business partner to a landing page with a video on it that I did in 15 minutes. They couldn't believe it - the quality and the minimal time it took me to set it all up! When they saw the opt-in box built into the video, they stopped talking:-) Nothing short of amazing! Honestly, this is the best value for money I've every bought online! Take care, Volker PS: Hope your affiliate program will start soon! |

And an 'I wish' feature request... EVP makes using Amazon S3 so easy for handling videos I wish you would extend it to upload and serve non-video files such as .pdf, .zip and so on. I know it's outside the video box, but it would be great to have all our large file storage and delivery handled through such a simple interface.

Great product Josh! I've wanted to market with videos more but found it such a pain to do it. I started using Amazon S3 a while back, but lost interest after short time since it's not user friendly. With your product, I can't believe how I can upload a video, add some cool selling features to it (like splash screen, opt in box, or redirect after the video finishes) and have the code ready to paste into my site in just a few minutes with just a few clicks. Thanks to you I will be doing a lot more video marketing! I can't wait until you add the video distribution features. Ron |

I was browsing on how to embed videos with players to my website using the ones on my S3 account the easy way and good thing I stumbled on your WSO! Read from pages 1 to 3 and now convinced! I have been considering EZS3, FLV Producer Pro and yours just got on time! Just bought my copy and be installing it in a few days... I have one question though... In your post (#14) at this thread with regards to security features when EVP got compared with S3Flowshield, is the issue now fixed? I've been reading some of your latest post on EVP features and you were mentioning that we can set EVP-produced videos in a way that they can't be ripped off. I mean if they would be members-only-content, will it work in a way that viewers will not be able to determine the file URL thus they won't be able to share the video files? ...and they won't be able to download the videos using streaming downloader browser addons/software as well? I'll be sending you a PM as well.. Thanks, Andy |

Hey there Josh, I came across this "WSO of the day" and was wondering if it is true that you can now purchase EVP for under $40 when a few days ago myself and several others were charged $67 because the lower costs were no longer available? |

| Steve - Easy Video Player has just been selected for the promotion "WSO of the day" The WSO of the day will take an existing WSO and offer it at an even higher discount for ONE day only for new purchases during this time. All transactions go through them and the commissions are sorted out with the seller afterwards.. Easy Video Player is currently $127 and the WSO price is right now only $67.. For one day only the WSO of the day promotion will be running it at a higher discount for new customers but this is NOT a price change from us.. The current $67 is due to go up to $70 odd within the next few days.. Hope that confirms your question... (Anyone not purcahsed yet, obviously their WSO of the day special offer is worth taking advantage of!) The WSO price of Easy Video Player still represents nearly 50% off of a very competitive price. (and one alot of people said they would pay more for) |

The easy and quick answer to your question is YES Easy Video Player will take care of this for you.. But, let me answer this in detail for you.. Ultimately it will ALWAYS be possible for people to rip your videos if they REALLY want to. There will always be a way, whether its screen capture or something else. Saying that, what we do is work hard to make it as hard as possible for people to do this, so the average person could NOT copy your videos and noone could easily. We mask/hide the url to your video so its very hard to extract, stopping them downloading directly.. A future upgrade will add in time expiry to urls, making the url different each time the video is requested and making it impossible to "hot link" We are also adding in a free upgrade the ability to lock your videos to a specific domain so the embed code could not be used anywhere else. These features make it about as secure a solution as you could possibly have for your videos.. Because of the way videos are loaded into the browser though there will always be someone who can rip them if they were very technically minded and determined. We just make sure you have the best security features available to stop 99 out of 100.
