Yes, it can be split, but it's not adviced. Targeting one single page will allow you to achieve the respective ranking much faster. But if you want to do it, yes, it can be done.

What will you be using to rank with? A site, a blog, an EzineArticle? How old is it? How many backlinks does it currently have? Is it entirely new?

Quick question. In the quote above it states up to a maximum of 200 backlinks per 2.0 property. I am wondering what happens after that. If I am still paying the same price every month does that mean that Michael will create another 30 2.0 properties? Because if not then does the price go down after 200 backlinks?

are needed to a site say with 100 pages on it, for it to rank well.

I ask because I have 6 sites with around 50 articles on them,
the sites are 6 months old,

I paid to have them submitted to 100 directories,
used angelas backlinks for links to homepage and tier2 pages
submitted articles to EZA linking back to homepage and tier2
and some tier3 pages

result less than 10 visitors a day after 6 months

I admit I should I have done better keyword research, I used google's
keyword tool and chose the highest demand keywords as category
pages and then searched for specific products under each category

I told my writers to write a review for each product without targeting a main keyword and write naturally, I thought with my backlinking I would get traffic from the longtails without having to do keyword research for it.
I know now that this only works for my established older sites, not new ones.

I did this for the 1st 20 articles when I built the site, now recently have added another 20 articles but this time researched longtail keywords.

For me seo takes a good year before any real traffic starts, I first learned
from people who make large content sites monetized with adsense, once the site is old enough and big enough rankings are stable and you don't have to do much. I have 2 sites like this.

I'd like to shorten this time frame, looking for the best linking strategy.

Also is a 10 site linkwheel better than a 5 site linkwheel, or a 20 site linkwheel, is there a formula that is best.

Well that's the thing, you did the first step wrong, a step which is the entire pillar of the operation... Keyword Research.

Yes, that's right, these are Angela type backlinks. Within PR6+ domains, but the page where the backlink is left is not of PR6+ (yet extremely close to the PR6+ home page).

Regardless, these are more than enough to rank for any keyword whatsoever. As can be proven by my 'business consulting' ranking.

Take into account that links on PR6+ pages with an OBL count of 1 would cost about $1,000 per month a pop, meaning $120,000 USD per month, which is obviously not the case here.

Nevertheless:
