Guys, the main update for this in the update release next week but you should be able to import the pdf by choosing angelas link packet as the import option.

I only test once - when I create the list - there is no point in me testing after the list goes live, its down to people keeping it stealthy then!

I cannt make guarantees, nobody can, that the links wont get deleted or be nofollowed etc, however, I am minimising the possibility as much as possible by keeping the list sales to 50 people only - that is the big difference, the lack of a stamepede to the sites to drop links.

I dont have a review copy, as these link packets are pretty standard and at only $4.99 with a limit of 50 quite a bargain for 30 I reckon.

Even with only 50 people doing this its still causing the webmasters to shut down the sites or going nofollow or disabling the links features...I have only done a handful so far and 3 sites arent working..I am guessing there are going to be a few more before I finish..I sure hope this doesnt get worse..I guess its not as stealth as promoted

I'm having duplicate link, and you have supplied another at your TXT file, but apparently it was a duplicate too for my other link packets.
(Would you mind check it if the new link is not a duplicate from other people packets?, and if it was really a duplicate would you supply another one, so the packet completely a 30 new link packet?).

Anyway, this is worth to have.

Unfortuntely it would be unrealistic for me to check against duplicates in other people packs - where would I stop the check for example. Also at the price and limiting the sales to 50, it would cost me as much to subscribe to every other service, and double the time spent and hence the price. Unfortunately no link pack seller can guarantee their link will not appear elsewhere.

I will not only be including three free locations each week in the notification email, but from now on I will be adding 2 extra into the actual pack to cover any issues etc, so you will be getting 5 extra links each week (20 in a month) to alleviate duplication issues.

I hope that is a reassurance as to my integrity on this.

Hi Michael,

When you create a new account, you stand a strong chance of getting scrutinised by the owner or a mod, and if they see links they will mostly delete the account. If they see a blank account, or an account with a few profile fleids filled, they will move one and leave it mainly.

In the pack instructions the absolute key instruction stated is to signup and then DO NOTHING for a week, so that your account is forgotten about and disappears down the new members list.

As the pack has only been out for three days, it would appear you have not followed what I recommend, which means you will suffer a higher percentage of deletions. If people are dropping links now, then they are not following what I recommend and will obviously be alerting the site owners to our presence.

I am selling only 50 copies to minimise visitor footprint, but I obviously cannot influence the actions taken by yourself or the site owner.

Please see in the post above that I will be adding a total of 5 additional free links next week to help maximise the links that will stick, and of course I welcome your feedback on spesicif sites that you found a problem with (which I did not, hence their inclusion), so I can try to spot anything to minimise deletions.

Link relevancy is a red herring. SEOmoz.org expert Rand Fishkin posted on his blog in October for example that he can see absolutely no evidence for relevant links carrying more weight.

My answer when someone says links must be relevant is to say "define relevant", and explain how Google would define it, and then only reward it on sites that it could determine that relevance - the simple answer is that they can't. Relevance is nioce for visitors, and Google recommends it. They also imply that you "should" have relevant links, but no one can find any concrete evidence that it helps.

For example my wife owns a large outsource call centre with a wide variety of clients, many of whom link to her. To Google the fact that a woodland adventure park website links to a call centre is completely un-relevant, but it is highly relevant to her company - something Google cannot possibly know, so how could they discount a link for their own perception?

The key to a good link is that it comes from a trusted source - ie a decent trustrank site, of which PR is one part, relevancy is a bonus but there is little hard evidence it counts for anything other than visitor experience .

Hi and sorry I didnt get back and reply to this thread earlier and point out the fact that it was NOT my fault for leaving links on the site and then getting them deleted because I simply did not have a chance to even REGISTER on the site..like I said above..the site was shut down..not they deleted my profile or links or shut me down...I guess I could have been a little bit more clearer but I thought I was...I didnt get around to finishing the first pack since they were all very low PR sites anyways which wont do anyone much good...you need to link to HIGH PR AUTHORITY sites to get any kind of substantial link juice and move up in the rankings...but for 5 bucks how much can you expect right?..although Angela's packet does provide the most bang for buck at 5 bucks and 30 HIGH PR AUTHORITY sites that will move you up in the rankings!

Several points to address here.

The average PR of the sites supplied in the first pack was PR4 - which is not low PR value. Also, "high PR sites" do not exist - PAGE rank is just that, PAGE rank. And nobody, not Angela or anyone else can really tell you what correlation the location of your profile link has with the quoted PR of the main page you enter the link site via.

PR does not equal an "authority" site. I could have a site that a million people linked to one page on, because I had good content on that one page. The PR of that page might shoot up to PR6 for example. Does not mean a page a few links away has much PR power however, nor does it mean that my site has high "authority" TBH.

Many professional SEO's dispute what makes an "authority" site, and some even question that authority in the sense of it being a specific, individual, calculated ranking factor even exists, and that it has more to do with inbound and outbound linking quality - ie its status as a "hub" site.

Angela's packets (sorry to bring Angela in here, but her name has been given as a comparison), go out to hundreds of people. Add to that the fact they are widely shared on other forums, and you could easily have 1000+ people each month using them.

It does not matter how high PR, authority or wonderful a link is, the fact is that if 1000 people hit a site at the same time and start doing the same thing, it gets noticed.

In addition, the "bigger" and more professional a site is, the more chance there is of the webmaster knowing what they are doing and reconising the link dropping quickly. Lower level sites run by people with little knowledge may not ever spot the creation of a profile and dropping of a link by a few people a day.

I am aiming at lower level, lower profile sites with a very limited distribution of 50 linkpacks, to try and maximise the amount of links that remain in place for the people paying their money.

I could quite easily release a "clone" of Angela's monthly link packets and sell a few hundred a month. But is that the best value for the buyers, and is that the best value I can provide?

The answer is quite clearly no. I am releasing a steady stream of decent link locations each week, so people can create a steady stream of VARIED links throughout the month, rather than a "one hit" of 30 each month.

Value as you perceive it seems to be purely based on what is potentially a worthless number being attached to each link and, taking that number as the literal "value" of that link.

My product is different for several good reasons:

1. It is limited to 50 people to minimise detection.

2. There are no "idiot guide" instructions, which means you minimise the damage of "any old person" grabbing one and using it.

3. It is a weekly pack of links to help keep the linkbuilding continuous, varied and "natural", rather than a "one hit" per month.

4. It is sold via a shopping cart rather than sent out to a subscriber list, to spread out the people buying it and then visiting the sites. One key problem with subscriber lists is everyone gets it at the same time, and either outsources it or starts adding profiles all within a short time frame, again increasing the chance of the site owner seeing a massive surge in new members and thinking "hmm whats going on here then".

One question... do you have a minimum PR for your packets? e.g all pages are on PR7 domains and higher (if only ).

I try to keep it to PR3 and above, but if a site has a quality profile then I have included the odd PR2, but the average landing page PR is PR5 so far.

They are mostly forum and profile-based sites. Basically any type of site where you can drop a link without having to participate, interact or otherwise engage others on the site.

Its a sign-up, wait, drop link and run theory!

The main thing I am trying to achieve for people, is a steady stream of decent little locations for people to quietly add links. Winning the game is all about building links, constantly, rather than just 30 a month.
