Believe it or not, you are the FIRST person that's asked me that question. Which I find really incredible considering the number of people who are now following the action here.

I'm going to hold off on revealing Monkey Boy's identity for a while yet. For one thing, he may not take too kindly to this, even though I haven't got in a direct hit yet. LOL And for another, I want to keep this a fun learning experience. I'm afraid that if I do say who this guy is, someone may get nasty with him. And he's a Warrior after all. He's just doing the best he can, like everybody else.

He just happens to be in the unfortunate position of being the author of that one WSO I clicked on that morning, while under the influence of one too many Doubleshots! LOL

So, 'ware thee the evil eye of the Fair Maiden, Beamer1959 and pray she does not cast it upon YOU! LOL

For example, that email that I sent out this morning was my first ever broadcast email. So I'm surprised that anyone even received it.

OK, Beamer you are a trip! This is providing a much needed relief from work. I did want to mention that Monkey Boy took you down a notch because that Jonathan Ledger "7 Dollar Secret Report" can be gotten for free. Just do a quick search. Hate it when that happens!

Ok, so I need to be clear here on your conditions.

You had to get the script (which I am briefly familiar with) and you are now going to have to learn how to install it and set that up.

Are you giving monkey boy the benefit of not including the time it will take you to learn how to use the new materials you are having to implement?

Also, will you be including the actual time it takes you to get the script up and running properly? Or does he get discounts on this time as well, as you are new to it so it may take you longer to do than someone who has done it before.

Is Monkey boy clear in his plan that this 24 hours includes time to learn the script - or is he arrogant to believe that someone should be able to pop it up and get it going out of the box with no prior knowledge?

In his report or sales letter, does he say "this plan will take 24 hours for a noob" or "this plan can be done by a noob but can be done quickly by a marketer in the know"

What qualifies a noob? Are levels of noobness given?

What technical knowledge is the qualification to accomplish the money in 24 hours?

Damn that Monkey Boy!

LOL But you gotta give the guy credit. When you google that report, everybody says "Buy this $7 report and I'll give you this free script".

He turned it around and said "Buy this $7 SCRIPT and get the report free".

I'm sure there's some kind of technical marketing terminology for what he did, but in essence, he used his report, intentionally or not, to create a sense of need for a script.

Then he showed me the more expensive one first, which was around $300. And then he said this $7 script would be sufficient.

So he built up the need, built up the value and then drove home the sale by offering an alternative that even a broke newbie could afford and also be able to use.

This guy's report LOOKS like it was put together by a ....well, a monkey. Yet, if you can unscramble it and get around the hype, he makes some very good suggestions. And, as you can see, he's done a pretty good marketing job as well. It would be interesting to know how much of this was planned and how much was accidental. Because if he planned this approach, this guy is a marketing genius! LOL

My main area of interest with this whole project, though, was to see if it could be accomplished in 24 hours, and that still remains to be seen. Those $1000.00 within 24 Hours WSO just bug me for some reason and this seemed like a good time to put one to the test.

I hope I lose, too! I haven't looked real close at the last half or his guide. I may need the money! LOL

In his script, Monkey Boy clearly states, "If you follow my steps, you will make $1,000.00 within 24 Hours no matter your level of experience." Throughout his report he makes several references like, "If you are new to IM, you will need to do this...".

That's why I jumped on this. I know for a fact that there is no way in he!! I would have been able to accomplish this in 24 hours when I was just starting out. I may not even be able to do it in 24 hours NOW!

As far as calculating MY time, that's one of the reasons I went with the cheaper script. It doesn't have near the bells and whistles so I'm hoping it has a smaller learning curve, too.

The time calculations that I'm showing you on the web page are based on me taking the actual steps that I'm telling you about. They don't include any time I've spent setting up those pages are typing in the Round recaps, or sending the email in the morning.

I am, however tracking that time, too, and so far I figure I have a total of about 8 hours in this. I'm tracking it seperately because, when I started this, I really wasn't sure what my product was going to be. And then I really did decide on one. But after this morning's knock-down, I may change my approach. LOL

Again, if you saw this guy's report you'd think it was done by someone who barely knew how to use email.

Is it a marketing ploy? Or is it his way of showing that the quality of the presentation doesn't really matter, so go ahead and throw together a 3 hour report out of repurposed PLR? Or is it just an accident?

He doesn't have a very big post count, so he could be a newbie just trying to push his first WSO. But on the other hand, that could be a marketing ploy, too. Have pity on me..I'm new...buy my little $7 report. Who knows!

Thanks anjel, I'm glad you're enjoying it. And that's one of the points I'm trying to make. Nobody can sit down and work at something for 24 hours straight. You can set yourself a goal to accomplish a task and allot 24 hours to get it done. But these claims that you can make hugs sums of money within 24 hours are a bit farfetched.

Actually, the 7 Dollar Secrets link is in Monkey Boy's guide and, while i actually went to that site for the script, I got a lot of good information from that cheap little guide. A lot of information that would help with this challenge.

Since it was the least expensive of his two alternatives, I chose to show that one because I know there are a lot of Newbies following this who may not have the extra cash. And someone new to IM may not be able to deal with all of the programing and extra features on the more expenisve script, too. I can't publish his entire guide because it didn't come with any rights. So I'm trying to be careful how much of it I do put on the site because I don't want to take away from his sales.

As for that being my affiliate link, in case you didn't notice, that's my website. And just about every link that's on it leads to something that's for sale. That's called the back end. That's what I was referring to during today's round. I'm just trying to follow Monkey Boy's guide, step by step, to see if I can make $1000.00 in 24 hours.
