Wel, Paypal. Due to their market position it is hard or even impossible to avoid them, right? They seem to me to be over cautious:
Though having several hundreds US$ funds with them - as well as a verified account for years and a working credit card - they let me know that buying pauls backlinks ( 8 US$ ) is out of my limits ( first purchase in that month!) ....
After complaining their support was friendly enough to mail me the standard "autoresponder" answers . Then they stated that the payment was refused due to "security reasons".
NO ! I do not like them - but need them . Still hoping for huge competitors :- )

Maybe because few people who will be interested in this guide have limited PayPal accounts and can't use PayPal to pay..??

Tom, I use both google and paypal. Google checkout is for those people who have a limited account, and can't use paypal. The first link goes to my paypal via e-junkie.

PayPal is SOOO Random! They are simply a "machine" and need to be treated as such, sometimes machines fail and do weird things.. just like paypal. Who knows why they wouldnt let you make a $8 purchase.. so weird lol

Just wanted to say this is a really good guide to have on file. I myself have experienced PayPal problems with some clients and it is something you don't want to experience. It is so frustrating, because PayPal never gives you an answer why they limit you. And these have ALWAYS been totally legitimate businesses. So it can happen to anyone. Thanks for the guide, at least I have a backup plan now.

I was blocked one year ago, and I needed to send almost 20 emails, documents, and complete the process with tens of phone calls.
I stayed without Paypal for an entire month and half...

Probably in about 6 months or less you will be limited unless you provide SS#, if you just provide EIN you will be limited until you provide SS#.

It's only a matter of time.

I bought Dennis' report several hours ago. I found it a good read, and I think this is really helpful information in dealing with paypal account limitations.

I had mine limited for the second time early this year (sux) and while I really relish the day a better, bigger payment processor sweeps the net - like Apple is doing to Windows now - this solution will have to do for now. :-)
