Hi nRehman,

Depends on what you mean.

Various companies, including Google, have drawn up "heatmaps" of where Pay Per Click (PPC) adverts are best placed on a web page. AdsReact ensures that wherever the web page viewer scrolls on a page a PPC ad (or some other block of your choosing) is displayed in a hot spot. You may well be able to use this to increase lead generation.

Maybe I'm a little dense here but I don't really understand what this software does from the description.

It sounds like a tool for improving the conversions for an Adsense website where you get paid for showing the ads but then the term PPC is frequently mentioned (which of course is the other side of the adsense equation where you buy the ads).

Really would be helpful to give everyone a link to an example site and/or a better explanation of the features.

As I have had a few requests for an example, take a look at:

'AdsReact' Example

and watch the ads as you scroll down the page. Of course a normal page visitor is not consciously watching the ads - they just stay in sight in the "hot spots" or wherever you choose to put them.

AdsReact works for any number of ads - you just put an ad block in a specified format and it works. It's easy.

Thanks for your interest in AdsReact. It is software for improving the conversions for websites where you get paid for showing ads. As far as the term PPC is concerned, I have always used the term for both sides of the transaction - sorry if that is confusing. I did not want to use the term AdSense because it works for all ads and other content too.

Wow! Okay this is really neat! I can certainly see where this would help by keeping your ads exactly where the visitor is - but I assume it can only be used on html sites - not wordpress blogs?

The square ads in the article area cover the content when you move them. If the content can wrap around the ads when they move, it would be great.

Hi Melody,

Glad you like the idea. It's been difficult putting it into words.

As far as WordPress is concerned, this is a bit difficult as there are so many themes and plugins. It will work with at least some WordPress setups, but I have not tested it with the various plugins that display adverts for you. However, there is no reason why it should not work, but you may have to add a small amount of HTML to the plugin code. I can, however, envisage situations where it may not work. Do you have a particular page in mind?

Hi Success,

Version 1 wrapped the text around the adverts but this caused very juddery page scrolling and major issues with images. Unfortunately the result was not usable.

However, possibly the best result, particularly if your pages are not too long, is to use AdsReact on the left column only and then the issue does not arise.

I have been using FlexSqueeze quite a bit, and the Adsense for the posts in built in - other wise I insert either CB contextual or Adsense/CPC ads in the sidebar with widgets.

Regardless, at this price, I am going to take the 'chance' and try this out. I probably won't be able to play with this until tomorrow on any blogs but will definitely get back to you ASAP and let you know how it works out.

I read the AdSense terms and conditions quite carefully before writing this software and decided that it was OK to use it on my own AdSense websites as it does not seem to me to contravene Google's wording. However, on some sites some care may be required to make sure that this is the case. Whether Google decides that it breaches the "spirit" of their terms I cannot say - I would hope not. In any case you can use it for all sorts of ads as well as AdSense.
