Thanks for your question -- can you still build a list if you're promoting affiliates offers?

The answer is Yes you can - heard that somewhere before ;-).

The way to do it is to send your traffic (be it pay per click or article marketing traffic) to YOUR squeeze page first (capture contact details) before directing it to an affiliate sales page. So…

1. Traffic >> YOUR Squeeze Page >> Affiliate Sales Page

2. Traffic >> Affiliate Sales Page

Option 1 – This is the most effective path. Offer something of value for free, build some rapport then recommend your affiliate product. Whether they buy or not they are still on your list and you can make another more relevant offer.

Option 2 – you are hoping they will buy first time round but what if they don’t? You’ve lost them for good.

Strong winds in my part of the world meant we had no phone/internet connection yesterday and so I could not get on the forum.
