I'd also like to see the plugin be able to build links to already posted content. It's just a hunch, but I think a lot of people would be interested in that. Any idea when this upgrade becomes available? Thanks, Martin |

P.S. Any examples of pages you have successfully ranked with Slick Social? The power of these type links is fairly difficult to estimate (for me at least with my limited link building experience). I'd hate to spend time signing up for accounts if the links have no real ranking power.

I use only sites that are known for link power sites like propeller faves ask.com delicious These are the types of site this tool generates you backlinks If you don't recognize the power of these types of sites, then you must do your homework I don't waste my time with just any links, in addition many other less known sources are being added that are exploding with traffic daily that are carry high page and are do follow Ranking has to do with more than backlinks, it also has to do with content In addition to ranking these sites are driving traffic directly they are more than just backlinks they are traffic machines Quote:

Hi, I have been around a LONG time - I hardly ever comment or endorse stuff. However, it would be unfair of me not to say that this is an excellent product and Ed is VERY responsive to technical issues - my advisce to anyone serious about automating their backlinking is to get this - it is VERY good. thx dean |

Same as previous poster... i am a member here for 4+ years and i never post actually. I just come around every couple months to see what's new here. Anyway, Ed deserves a BIG THANKS because this stuff is killer guys. If you've ever tried doing auto blogs of any type, like rss feed driven blogs, Caffeinated Content, WP Answers etc etc... you know you needed to automate you link building, not only to your homepage (there are numerous 1 and 3waylinks services out there that can do that for you on autopilot) but also to your individual blog posts. But how would you build those deep links? By hand? Yeah right. Using bookmarking apps? No way, after you do that 2-3 times, you will forget about it, not to mention that's not possible if you run tens or even hundreds of these autoblogs. Trust me, i've tried it and man that sucks. Also, there are a few plugins out there, tried them all, and they are lame (sorry competitors), so that's out of the question too. Ed has come up (and still improving it all the time) with this Slick Social Pro plugin and this is way beyond anything I've ever tried and has all my 4 thumbs up. Grab it, that's all 'm gonna say. BTW, if you don't want to bother with account creation (yes, you will need lots of those if you're serious) just outsource it. I've bought many of Ed's products, this is one of his best so far. |

Hi Ed, I'm not exactly sure how this works. Suppose I want to build a 5-page affiliate site. I install my Wordpress blog and install the Slick Social plugin. Next, I need to create an account (per page?) for each of the 10 sites in the module (so a total of 50 accounts). I then enter the necessary information into the plugin (anchor texts, page URLs, descriptions). Ok, now I'm ready to start posting my content and when I do, 10 links will automatically be built per page. Is this how it works? Thanks, Martin |

Not exactly Its a designed for post not pages Actually I don't know how it will behave for pages, but I am finishing up on a stand alone version for html that is going to use the plugin information for the stand alone verion that will be able to create backlinks for non blog/post You need to create accounts for the Web 2.0 sites once and use them across as many blogs as you want When you create accounts for a Web 2.0 site, you can create one or many for each Web 2.0 backlinking site Then you choose if you want a min max for how many backlinks for each post or choose all sites, and if you have multiple user accounts then it rotates the user accounts for each Web 2.0 site it all depends on what you want the plugin to do Ed Quote:

Question for everyone reading this As a user of this backlinking plugin Creating user accounts for Web 2.0 properties can be an issue I see no way in dong this other than signing up for them considering the sites I am using are very strict on registering to create a user account Would already made acounts to go with this plugin be desireable, for a separate fee What would you pay for having each account already made for you? Any suggestions would be appreciated, please don't respond in the WSO please send me a PM please, this is a separate issue and I don't want it posted here, please Ed |

Ok, thanks Ed. Now I understand a little better how this works. What I'm basically looking for is a simple way of getting good quality backlinks and it seems Slick Social fits the bill. I'm going to try it Monday. Have a nice weekend, Martin |

The sites are easy to signup for. Sparrow's bonus makes it really a snap. BTW, that bonus is great for other projects. I just finished the install and got a fast 22 backlinks for one post. I did not expect that kind of result, I was hoping for 60% success, and got 95%. With a different plugin that is a few years old, which costs triple, and good for one site only, the success is 25% if you're lucky. -Will |

Ed, sorry for this, but I have yet another question regarding getting links to posts we've already published... Would going back into the WP dashboard and hitting the "update post" button cause Slick Social Pro to generate backlinks? Or for that matter, would there be any other way to trigger Slick Social Poster for existing posts manually? |

| Personal Testimonial. Hi Ed, I just gotten the Slick Social few days ago and was kinda skeptical to grab this plugin in fact. But the idea of auto-bookmarking every post is definitely a big time saver for me to build extra backlinks to my sites. Everyone should know that backlinks is the goldmine to get better google search positioning. By integrating slick social to my website, I'm able to get 20 + 10 (increase every month) to each of my post! Well done Ed, and you have a great customer support too. Hi Ed, This sounds like a very interesting product. I have three questions about it: 1. Can we give different variations of the anchor text for it to use, or will it backlink with the same anchor text on each site? 2. Do all of the backlinks get posted on the same day that month, or is there a way to drip it on a daily basis through the course of that month? 3. I know that you said it only works on posts for now, but many of my sites are Wordpress blogs that use pages. I do use a plugin called "RSS Includes Pages" that puts my pages into the site's RSS feed. I was hoping that on some off chance, Slick Social is only working on posts because it's reading from the RSS feed - in which case, I'd be good to go with my pages. Is this the case by any chance? Thanks! |

Hi Ed We might have missed something in the info. 1) Do we need to continue to post on our blog for this to work? 2) If yes, then with the version for the HTML site how do we get the backlinks? 3) if you run a html site (main domain) and have a blog as well on the site under a seperate folder called "blog" can you get links for BOTH seperately? Very interested, but just need to clarrify these couple of things. Regards Bronwyn and Keith |

I'm in. I've already got one the bonuses from a previous WSO, but WTH. This is too good to quibble about on a technicality. Will tie in very nicely with a new network of blogs I recently setup to post spun content to, so expect this to take a LOT of work out of the process of getting back-links to my content. Off to play around a bit. Cheers. |

Hi Ed, What an Awesome Tool! I have been looking for a similar service like this. And, i am glad i found this tool just in time. I just bought it and have already used it. The Bulk upload option really makes it easy to upload all the login info's in a very short time. And, the reporting section is also very helpful. The first time i used the Slick Social i got only 2 errors. One was due to Time-out and another one was due to Login failure which i fixed it. I have 2 requests. If possible please try and add these features it will really take your plugin to the next level: 1) Add a feature which allows us to add a first para from our post containing the spinning syntaxes "{...|...}" for our postings. This way each of the 2.0 website shall receive an unique version of the post. 2) I noticed after hitting the Publish button. It takes some time to return me to the posting confirmation page. If you could run the process of submission happening in the background that would really be nice. Really very satisfied with my purchase and with the inclusion of more and more web 2.0 websites each month... i think its gonna rock. One more question just poped up in my mind. Could you tell me when do you normally add the new module to slick social? |

Just wanted to add a small footnote to this: Apart from having coded an excellent plug-in, Ed is very good with his support. I had a couple of teething problems. Couple of emails later and Ed had everything up and running for me. All now installed and working properly. I'll post results as I use the plugin. |

I agree on the second requestion, running the posting in the background instead of waiting for it to load finish. Imagine we will have up to 100+ slicksocial account, would that take too long to publish the post instead? Thanks! Winson Quote:

It has been noted and being worked on its works well if you schedule in future or set your Autoblog up this is suppose to be a hands off solution no need to be watching this Winson I hope you notice on the new update you can see your request to disable slicksocial feature on the right side of the edit post window to disable Slicksocial when doing edits and not generate links, your suggestion was put into action I understand your concerns and they are in the works ED |
