Hi, is this how to set up wordpress for business owners? ie builders, florists etc? What ate the rights? Are there videos to support?

I just purchased this wordpress guide. I am new but I do know some of this content. I have, however picked up some useful information that has helped me connect the dots. Thank you. It's well worth it.

I do have a couple questions - I don't have much money and can't really get the flexxtheme. On page 41-42, you mentioned menus. I don't have the options shown on my theme. How can I do menus without this theme? I did find a plugin called AllWebMenus plugin when searching Google, but I am not sure what I have to do with it or if I have to purchase something to make it work. Is there a way just through WP?

In your post above, you said flexxtheme is optional but recommended. I had thought you would have explained the "rough" way to do it AND the easy way with flexxtheme, but there are a number of other options which a beginner would be lost without further explanation and I know I am going to struggle figuring them out. My hope is that you can in a future edition (hopefully soon) can explain this better for people who don't have the theme.

Also, how do I get future updates and the videos, etc.?

The guide is good for someone who is newbie for wordpress. It provides step by step instructions with screenshots. But if you are familiar with wordpress you may not find something new here. I wish the guide could teach me how to approach the business owner and offer them web design service, not just how to installing wordpress.

To duane - flexxtheme is optional, though some of the features described in this book can only be accomplished with this them - hence my 100% recommendation. really, the price that you pay for this theme is WELL WORTH it.. I'd highly recommend 'finding' a way instead of saying it can't be done.

otherwise, you can still create the menus using pages, you just can't selectively hide them. perhaps an idea for a programmer here on the forum, or outsource it as a plugin and get rich? =)

Hi there, I bought this how to setup wordpress but how do I download it? The download link keeps coming up 'cant find page', I sent you a email to the address listed as contact in the WSO thankyou but that comes up as 'address blocked'. Sent a email to address in the Paypal receipt, that has been delivered but havent had a reply. Is frustrating as expected to get this book immediately to see if it would solve a wordpress problem I had.

I tried the link in John Collins post above, I cant find anything that looks like a download link
