Somebody just asked me via PM, so I'll elaborate here.

This guide is targeted to walk you through the stages of getting the idea for a simple product, creating the product, crafting the sales page, and getting it set up on the $7 Secrets script online (all ready for driving traffic to and making sales).

I do cover very briefly a few ideas for getting quick traffic at the end, but that is not the focus of this guide. You will be setting up an affiliate recruiting page in your product (actually, most of it is already set up for you in the template) and I give you an idea for recruiting affiliates directly. So, the basis of getting these sales is to get affiliates to sell the ebook, is what I'm guessing. Doesn't the affiliate make 100% of the sale from that website, or am I wrong about that. I was thinking that the affiliate made 100% of the sale, but the creator of the ebook got another name on his list. Is this correct or not?

Getting affiliates is always a good idea, but not the only way. To get a quick start on your sales, I recommend using a niche forum that allows advertising or announcements of new products (they are out there).

As for $7 Secrets, you DO NOT have to give 100%. You can set it at 50% commission and the affiliate gets every second sale. The draw for affiliates is the instant payment into their PayPal.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy this guide. In fact I didn't! I just bought it too and I have never even received a product from Kevin Riley. At least not yet, I have a few on order and have signed up to be a Kevin Riley affiliate (which I would recommend to anyone).

Why would I make a recommendation like this with out even having tried his products? Well first off he has nothing but outstanding reviews. Secondly his videos about his products really sell me. Third I just had a 30 minute conversation with him on Skype. what impressed me about that is I think he ininitially thought is was cause I was complaining (really I just wanted to ask a question).

Kevin freely gave me the information I needed and even directed me away from a product of his I was considering. Instead he felt another product of his would be better for me (and it was cheaper too). He really seems like a stand up guy who gets satisfaction out of over delivering.

I am looking forward to receiving my products from Kevin Riley. I am sure I will be doing another post after I receive them on how well they work.

Start with the welcoming letter, then the Rocket Christmas Cash guide. It walks you through - tells you when to open the other files (templates, etc)

Be sure to sign up for the support mailings (on the welcoming letter) as there I'll be giving you extra tips and some ideas for driving traffic.

The tools are all free. Registering a domain $9, hosting $10/month, and I do recommend getting an e-cover (but it's not totally necessary) that's about $35. If it's outside your budget, you can always add a cover image later.

Other than that, if you use a forum that allows advertising (there's quite a few niche forums that have similar setups to WSO section - or new product announcement sections) there will be whatever they charge to run an ad. Otherwise, I do show free ways to get affiliates in the folow-up e-mails.

Because, you'll make a lot more money when you get affiliates promoting for you (You do not have to set the script to 100%. Do 50% and affiliates still like it, because they get instant payment).

Rocket Product Creation is full on business building - everything for setting up a successful info product business online. While Rocket Christmas Cash is a guide to just quickly getting something up and making money.

Overlap? Well, I'll show you how to use Open Office in both, as I believe it to be a great (and free) tool for creating e-books.

Do me a favour. Don't go into it with the idea of "I'll try it". Go in with the attititude of I will make money, because if you do follow my steps exactly, you will succeed. It all about being consistent (consistently applying yourself to get this up and going) and persistent (not giving up if your first attempt at getting traffic doesn't work). I wanted to give a quick update to everyone. I recently purchase Kevin's quick x mas cash report. I read it and took action right away. I wrote my report in one sitting on how to create your own simple info product. I followed Kevin's instructions he lays out through his report. I wrote my report and created a simple salesletter with the template Kevin provides and got it up and running in less than two days. I already have some affiliates promoting my mini report. Pretty soon I will be making some extra x mas cash. If your sitting on the fence about this take action and get it going. Getting out there and taking action is more important than getting everything right. You don't have to get it right just get it going.

The templates are in the package, not the guide. For the salesletter, there's an HTML page all laid out with elements like your headline, spot for writing, place for cover image, bullets, order button, etc. You still need to write, but examples are given in the guide. Also, if you want to see the actual example sales page, you can e-mail me for the URL.

Oh, and I'm literally uploading my photos for a report I'm working on now. This is a little different to what most people are probably doing, in that this is showing people different ways to use a Christmas Images package I am selling.

I have made several greeting cards using some of the images - this is to show potential buyers what they can do with the images, and how, with just a few tweaks or change of 'embelishments' they can have a totally different card using the same image/s.

Of course I will have links to the package in the report!

Since Rocket Christmas Cash works with the $7 script, and the owner of the product will be getting affiliates, from what I understand the product owner is responsible for the way the affiliate promotes the product, in terms of using disclosures on their sites where they are promoting the owner's products, letting their potential customers know that they are affiliates for various products on their site, and they do make a commission on the named products.

I hope I haven't made this overly complicated, I am just afraid of running
afoul of the law, and having massive fines fall down on my head. My objective
is to make money not put myself in hock for the rest of my life! LOL

Could you share your insight on this?

I'm struggling to see how creating an info product could land you in the dock . There are product creators out there with armies of affiliates and there is no way they could be directly responsible for each and every one of them. In fact you could go to Clickbank right now or become an affiliate of any other product and Im pretty sure the product owner will no nothing about you or how you intend to promote it.

RCC does not rely on the $7 script at all it just compliments the product as a way to handle affiliates and sales. After making your report its entirely up to you how you promote it or what system you use to handle affiliates but Kevin has kindly bundled $7 scripts to help us out.

Im in the process of creating an affiliates page right now using the $7 secrets script and so long as you put some sort of warning for your affiliates to act in accordance with the law then I think thats the most you can unless you monitor every single blog post, article, forum comment, tweet, yahoo answer, email etc.

So rest assured the feds will not be coming just yet.
