The SecureDL plugin for WordPress™ protects files in your Amazon S3 account or files anywhere on the 'net - on your domain, on another domain, above your root level - anywhere! The latest plugin from ExtraKickApps, SecureDL is designed to easily create authorized Amazon S3 and unrecognizably complex, encrypted download links within your WP blog installation all with one simple token! It deters and blocks anyone from even trying to access your files without the proper authentication credentials, completely. This WSO is Closed! Check out the video and all the details on the discounted salespage (complete with LIVE sales countdown)! And, if you're a Rapid Action Press owner, be sure to look for the Get It Free link. -Erin (netkickstart.com) and Bill Ortell (rap-extras.com) |

Hi, this is Bill Ortell, Erin's partner on this ridiculously priced, and unbelievably functional and comprehensive plugin for Wordpress... protecting the S3 and non-S3 links. So if you have any questions, you can reply to this post or ask me using my profile as well. Also, We had a few questions via PM regarding it's functionality with which player it uses to play any of the media files... and we've left this completely open for you to use... you're not encouraged or discouraged from using one player (ie. JW, FlowPlayer) over the next... Many people have many flash media players and they all want to us their own. We leave that totally up to you and you CAN indeed use this plugin in conjunction with other WordPress plugins - esp. the ones playing media files. |

Hey thanks for this. I don't use S3 right now, but I do have links on my blog. The plug in worked like a charm. No problems at all.

Hey Bill And Erin, This is awesome security plugin... I will now retire my old unreliable download protection script that is very hard to setup and promote SecureDL as my new "Chief Security" of all my downloadable products... ![]() My latest billing for Amazon S3 was $48 coz somebody abused the download links on my members area so I endup renaming the files one by one.... Obviously the download protection thatI used does not work at all coz it can easily unmask by just viewing the source code. But with your plugin I can now hide and encrypt the absolute path and leave the pirates pulling their hair! ![]() I'll give SecureDL more spin and back with the result... Just to make sure that I don't pay $48 on the next billing ![]() Thanks guys, Gama |

Wow... This looks interesting! I'm still trying to get a hang with the Rapid Action Press, then you guys came out another kick-ass software. I'll definitely give it a try when I have the time and let you know how it goes... - Eric ;p |

| It should. We tested with quite a few players and are willing to investigate and (hopefully!) resolve any incompatibilities with others. Quote:

Will it secure videos played with Josh Bartlett's Easy Video Player via S3? This player uses the Flow player so I'm guessing it should? |

| I don't own his product, so couldn't say for sure, but it using Flowplayer makes it more likely. That said, it seems (at least as far as playing S3 videos is concerned) it'd probably be overkill to combine the two.

Thanks for the "insight and kudos", Gama, I think probably only 5-10% (if that) of the marketers, sellers, website owners offering products via unprotected download links - DO NOT even have an S3 account... Does this mean they need one? Nope, for most, their own server is all they need... so this is why we also made it flexible enough to work with ANY file, ANY-where not just S3 links/accounts.This means that if you have files above your root, below your domain, on another domain (accessible to yours) - you can protect them ALL! with this ONE WP Plugin. Thanks again, for the kudos and thoughts.

The good part is that you only have to use about 1/2 your cc for the wso price right now, others use the full card - lol. Let it rip and let us know here your success!

| As I understand it, DLGuard covers the entire sales process. SecureDL is a WordPress plugin for protecting your links (S3 or non-) from being shared. (The many ways it provides for this are listed on the salespage.) It doesn't get involved in the handling of monies and DLGuard is not for WP. I hope this helps. It seems to me there are significant differences implicit in their intended purposes and scope. |
