Fidens,

The script appears not to work in Firefox 3. Created a hidden link using the demo and the link still appeared in the status bar in Firefox 3. Also the link is still visible if you view the source of the page ( probably the most popular way of finding a link ) so it's not cloaked at all as far as I can see.
