SocialAdr doesn't 'make' anyone pick anything. It is personal choice for people to share the links that they want. This would tend to argue in favor of sharing sites that people don't hate I guess, which probably isn't a bad thing.

In reality, some people are picky and some people aren't. I haven't heard anyone complaining about this particular problem.

Yes, success is determined to some degree by the size of the user base. There are currently over 120 registered member; I would expect that to grow quite rapidly with the WSO being up.

And no, the links on the home page are not paid. They're either random or just pulled from the most recently shared bookmarks, don't recall which at the moment.

Our 'Lazy' account option removes the part of the process where you share other people's links. You just put your bookmarks into the system and then let the links grow. If you go on a cruise and don't access the Internet for a week, you're still building links.

The non-lazy version of the site is very easy to use, taking only a minute or two a day, but some people would rather not even worry about logging in and clicking a button. For those people, Lazy is the way to go.

Hi Jason,

Users with the 'Lazy' option don't actually need their own social bookmarking service accounts.

If you have a 'Lazy' account, the other members will be submitting your bookmarks to their accounts.

Yes, we do have plans to spin the bookmark components, this is definitely something we want to do, just not sure exactly when yet!

Hi Colin,

Based on the current membership levels, we already have a rough idea of what percentage of people will choose the FREE account versus a paid membership, so we definitely know that there's no chance that everyone will be "Lazy"

Some people are just never willing to pay for anything, no matter how good a deal it is, as I'm sure you're well aware. This is a challenge for all of us in this fine business of internet marketing.

To answer your question though, yes you are guaranteed (approximately) 420 backlinks for month if you select the FREE account with the 'Lazy' option.

I must say approximately because the system will distribute the backlinks fairly evenly throughout the month (so they appear naturally), but there's of course a chance due to rounding or whatnot that you may only get 419, for example.

Right now, we aren't doing anything to make sure that people are filling out account profiles. We haven't seen it cause any issues so far (none of my accounts have filled out profiles and I've shared hundreds of links), but we are definitely monitoring activity across all of our social bookmarking services for signs of trouble. You can ask Kane, I've got all kinds of crazy spreadsheets with pivot charts and what not to trend how each service is behaving and make sure we jump on problems as soon as they pop up.

Hey Winson!

Yes, that's correct. SocialAdr works on "credits" in order to ensure fairness for all members. So for your URLs to be bookmarked by other members, you first have to "Share" their URLS.

The steps that you'll need to follow are:

• Enter the login/password for each social bookmark service
• Click a button like the one below for each URL you want to "Share"

Then you'll received credits and your bookmarks can then be Shared by other members.

Yes, there is tracking. They system knows whether each bookmark was submitted successfully or not. Credits are only assigned on successful submissions. There's also "history" pages so you can see the log of all your activity, including hyperlinks to each member's page at the social bookmarking services (so you can check for yourself).

I haven't completely used the entire system yet, but after just signing up for a free account and playing around on the inside for a bit I've got to leave this quick comment about how cleverly simple the interface is for this system.

Moreover, the idea. I've never heard of anything like this and I like how your pages are bookmarked from hundreds (or thousands) of legitimate UNIQUE bookmarking accounts, unlike the "traditional" ways we know of where your website(s) are bookmarked all under the same or very few accounts when doing it with traditional social bookmarking software applications. And if you wanted your pages to be bookmarked under several different accounts, it would take loads of time doing it that way. It looks like SocialAdr is changing all that...

Can you provide more details about it? Does it mean that for every url I submitted, the most I can get from socialadc is just 20 shares for that url? After that it will be achieved and not available for social bookmarking again?

Please clarify as I still find the system very new and innovative but at the same time confusing.

Yes, you had it exactly right. With the free account, after 20 people have shared your link it will go into the archives and be unavailable for further sharing. With the higher accounts, you can get more shares per link (up to 160 for the Linkaholic).

But if each URL is only getting 20 links, that doesn't make sense. It would take 21 URL's getting 20 links to total 420 backlinks. So I'm assuming you mean 1-2 sites, with up to 21 actual pages?

Also, in describing each plan, you mention credit earn rate. Free is low, the paid plans are higher. But you never actually specify how many credits are earned for each time you share someone else's URL. I think that's important information, because it indicates how time-consuming this will be. Can you give us that information? How many shares does one have to do to get the number of credits needed to get the total month's backlinks?

Sorry for the confusion, we do plan on revamping some of our documentation so it's easier to understand.

For the FREE account, each URL can get "Shared" 20 times. Each "Share" submits the URL to up to 14 different social bookmarking services. So 20 x 14 = up to 280 backlinks per URL.

Here's the details on the current credit earn rates:

• Free (20%)
• Link Builder (60%)
• Link Addict (120%)
• Linkaholic (280%)

So this means for the FREE account you must do 5 "Shares" to receive 1 "Share" in return. And for Linkaholic when you do 1 "Share" you receive 2.8 "Shares" in return.

You can share 5 items per day. Regardless of which type of account you have, all you need to do to share is click the 'share' button. It shouldn't take more than 60 second per day, regardless of what level you sign up for. Unless you have a Lazy account, in which case you don't even have to log in.
