People always ask me, If I was to start my Niche Marketing career from Scratch, how would I do it and What Niche markets would I go into? The answer? Automated Niche Market Research, with my Niche Disco Tool

The Niche Disco method described manually.

NB: The Niche Disco Tool (Described lower down) has automated the entire manual Niche Disco method described next. Performing the method manually generates about 1-3 niche opportunities a day. Step 1: Go to Google Product Search and highlight all the “Recently found” products and copy them to your clipboard (Right click, copy or CTRL C)



Step 2: Go to the Google Adwords Keyword Tool at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and paste (Right click, paste or CTRL V) all the keywords into the keyword box. Remember you must now manually separate each keyword phrase onto a separate line. Then enter the CAPTCHA and click the “Get Keyword Ideas” button.



Step 3: Change the match type to “Exact” and sort by “Local Search Volume”. Then scroll down and click on the export link “.csv (for excel)”. This will save the results to a file you can open with excel or other spreadsheet program.



Step 4: Open the CSV file in your spreadsheet editor and firstly delete all the keywords that have less than 1000 monthly local searches. From the keywords that are left, remove the [ ] brackets.



Step 5: Go to your favourite domain lookup tool. Mine is Ajax Whois 2.0 - fast domain name search and whois and for each keyword that you have in your file, establish whether or not the .com, .net or .org domains are available to register.



Step 6: For each keyword phrase that has an available domain name, go to google.com and perform a broad match search for the phrase. You now need to analyse just the first page of results (as that where you want your site to be, right?). You need the density figures for the following: Title, Description, Domain and Page.



Step 7: Now take the data you have collected for each viable keyword phrase and plug them into a spreadsheet like the example below. Now using my algorithm, generate a score for each item. You get this score by multiplying the keyword phrase count by the Escalation figure. The escalation figure is a weighting of importance. Next you sum up all your scores to get a final score out of 100 for each keyword phrase. Then use the score table to asses the viability of going into that market and dominating it.



Step 8: Asses the market value of the niche market by calculating the average price of the product by going to Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more and adding up the sale price of the first page of results for your keyword phrase and dividing by the number of items. You now need to weigh up Search volume, rank ability and potential per sale profit in order to establish whether or not the potential earnings from each niche market matches your monthly target earnings goal.



So now that you have seen the exact process I use to discover all the Niche Markets I go into and dominate, you can see that doing it manually takes a huge amount of time and yields only a small result set once you have eliminated all the keyword phrases which will be too hard to rank fast and high for.

Finding niche markets is the most critical part of affiliate marketing. Finding the right market can make or break your business. Spending too much time researching markets can result in analysis paralysis. The key to successful niche market identification is through LARGE SCALE AUTOMATED ANALYSIS. Thanks for the great comment, glad you like it. One this to note though, is that there is nothing like this tool on the market, and although it has some elements of great tools available already like MNF, the power is how it comes up with all the ideas, and how it goes about doing that. No need for seed ideas, just more niche ideas and indepth analysis of more niche markets that all the warriors in this forum could ever handle.

1. Most keywords discovered are long tail, however you will find the software also finds some incredible high search volume keywords that only a handful of Niche Marketers have identified.

2. The manual process described covers just a few of the steps used as part of the competitive analysis. The actual software which automates this, uses many more techniques including backlink and domain authority checks to get an accurate score.

Glad you are enjoying the tool. Here is some feedback on your questions/comments.

1. The software runs on a dedicated server in California and is therefore in the pacific Time zone. The date/times you see in the archive are based on Pacific time. Every 3 hours the software creates a new batch of about 50 opportunities. The software and data was reset yesterday to allow for the archived data to be as fresh as possible. Currently there are 5 archived batches and at the time of writing the post, the next new batch will be displayed in 1 hour. Each day there will be 8 new batches displayed by the software. The reason this is spread out in 3 hourly batches is to ensure some fairness to people from different parts of the world. So, no matter where you live in the world you will have the chance to be the first who sees a latest batch of opportunities.

2. The power of Niche Disco is seed keyword generation. The software not only generates the seed keywords (opportunities) but uses the tools to drill deeper into each one automatically. There are many tools out there that help with keyword research but they all depend on good seed keywords to start with. Niche Disco gives you these seeds, and does all the hard work for you. In checking against my favorite niche tool (Micro Niche Finder), the Niche Disco niches are spot on in terms of counts and what to go after. Never thought anything would replace my beloved MNF, but I think I just found it.

You login to Niche Disco and see a list specific subcateogries of products people are buying right now with the number of monthly English searches (US? ). Yeah, the same ones for sale on Amazon. Before each one is a color-coded square showing the level of competition you face. Right on the same line are matching domain names with more color coded indicators telling what's available.

Finding the specific top product subcateories selling now was always the time consuming part. (And most marketers were still busy with the preliminary step of finding the best niche categories with "buying" words.) Here they are on a silver platter. Instantly. I can hardly believe it. You may or may not know this but my name is Michael Nguyen and I consider myself a student of the NicheMarketNinja methodology. This product is a niche marketers dream! Can you imagine being handed niches on your plate? That’s crazy right? Let’s think about this for a second...Most products out there will usually guide you through the process of building a site etc but they will never give you niches to start with, and if they do, you still need to research it further but this product does the exact opposite.

I still can't believe that Nick is offering it for almost nothing, compared to its value.

This tool is a life changer for me. I've been trying to teach my fiance how to make such blogs, but still I had to do all the keyword research myself. Now that I don't have to do it, he can take over the whole process. We even have the training in NMCP that walks you through the whole thing.

I just bought the tool and at first glance it looks tremendous.

BUT I have just checked the archive for the 1st Jan at 11 pm and the 3rd keyphrase down(after you sort them high to low) is showing a tremendous opportunity...but on closer investigation it appears that your tool is showing "broad match", not exact which it is supposed to do.

If you have a look yourself and check MNF and Google external tool you will see that the figure of 60,500 for the 3rd one down is the broad match search number.

Is there a problem with the tool in this respect?
