| Always ready... War Room Member | Step by Step guide - How to record and edit Podcasts with Audacity Podcasts is a HOT traffic line, Audacity is Open Source (FREE) and delivers... you WILL Need this guide sooner or later Hello warriors, We have been using podcasts for about a year now. They are HOT! Podcasting is a great traffic line, but it looks difficult. This turns off a lot of people, and the resource is not as widely used as it deserves. Now, I have great news for you: to create "good enough" podcasts is not difficult at all. You only need a good mic, something as a pop filter and Audacity. Audacity is Open Source (i.e. FREE). Open source is great! but usually the documentation is not that great... The Lady took care of working the podcasts and learnt all the lil dirty tricks. She wrote a step by step guide putting all the experience we collected in one place. And here it is, I'm giving it for FREE for personal use. You know? I'm particularly fond of step by step stuff... if it is not easy, I don't get it. The Lady wrote it so "even I" can do it. How does this work? Claim your copy of Audacity for personal use. Just follow this link. On the same page, you can also check the sound of one of our podcasts. That's it! Simple, isn't it? If you have any question contact me at laura @ richdirtygirl.com Here is the link again. Have a beautiful day, Laura |

Dear Rich & Dirty My sincere thanks for this concise guide - you really went to a lot of trouble with all those screenshots and the result is a far better laid out and digestible reference than either Audacity's own quick guide in their help section, or their massively heavy 153 page user manual. This cuts to the chase, as it were, & easy to follow I am in the voice biz myself, and Wavepad is what I use, simply because up to now I've found it 10x more user friendly than Audacity. But I've always had a lurking suspicion that Audacity is probably more versatile, and now that I've got this guide I feel like giving it another chance. I'll be watching out for more! (Hint: I would love to know more specifics about Podcasting itself) Take care Ken |
