| Get Your FREE Initial Meeting Template for Positioning Your Business for Big Profits and Ending The Pain of "Rejection Depression" Forever! Turning Prospects into Clients... and Their "Problems" into PROFITS! Where to begin... Let's start...at the start! Have you ever been nervous or unsure of how to approach the marketing for a prospective business client? Are you tired of suggesting one service after another, only to end up having your time wasted and your ego deflated? Do you wish that the business owner's you met with just knew how valuable you would be for their business, and the results you could get them if they just gave you a chance? Well I did. I mean the average person can only take so many "No" responses to a good solution, before you just want to say... "Fine! Have it your way...Get Ready to Lose a LOT of Money by NOT Letting Me Help YOU" Mind you, I never actually said that to a prospect...but I sure did want to! I mean, here I was...full of all this marketing and technological knowledge...and yet they were so stubborn and fixated on using Yellow Pages instead of Google...boring Website instead of ones that turned "Browsers into Buyers" ... How Could Business Owners Be So...DUMB!?! But really...it was me that dumb...ignorant to the fact that I was too busy selling my services and not working hard enough to learn about their businesses. Then an interesting shift in my thinking happened... I decided to try something new...and instead of just presenting a flashy PowerPoint presentation and speaking AT THEM for 30 minutes...I would actually have a normal conversation with them... Just me and the business owner...no selling...just...talking! "When Can We Start?" Excuse me? Did I just hear those words come out of the prospects mouth? What just happened?! At the time this amazed me, that this shift in thinking worked...but now I know what I did differently... I focused on asking them the right questions! Funny thing happens when someone opens up to you about all their problems and frustrations...they feel they connect with you... Seriously. Think about your own situations, the people you turn to and confide in when you have problems or bad days...you trust them to help you find the answers and solutions to stop the hurt. Well now apply that same thinking to your consulting businesses. Your job is to stop the pain and hurt of businesses...NOT sell them on your new tools and services... They Don't Care What Tools and Software You Have...They Want to Know How You Can Stop THEIR Pain! But how can you stop a pain that you don't know exists? Well, when you go to a Doctor's office...and you tell him you very sick... Does he just toss some pills at you and say "these will get you the results you need!" Probably not...nor would you ever go back to a Doctor that just automatically assumed he knew how to fix YOUR illness...without you telling him what your illness is doing! No, when you go to a Doctor he has you:
AND THEN He Provides a Solution. Well call me Dr. Dexx (okay don't actually :P ) but I am now sharing my template of questions that will allow you to diagnose the illness that is slowly killing a business you sit down with... ...and then you can offer the exact solutions the prospect WANTS you to offer them! Grab your copy of this template below, and start closing more sales and helping more businesses succeed! This is just another great tool to use in your arsenal to stand out from the competition and establish yourself as THE authority to work with. Remember: Focus on asking questions...listening to their problems...THEN provide a solution...not the other way around! Side Note: This is currently a market interest test for this guide, and based on feedback etc. might become a full-blown report in the future (similar to the Interview Cash Method) ... so basically grab it while it's free as I might take it down at any point to sell instead! See you on the other side! ~Dexx |

Thanks Joe! Everyone benefits when information is shared, this isn't exactly an area where competition can really saturate the market...pretty sure every member of the Warrior Forum could be working with 100 businesses and we would still barely put a dent in the % of businesses reached! But it's a start =) Enjoy the template and please share your feedback on it! ~Dexx |

Just finished reading and making notes. Thanks so much for this freebie, I'll be using the questions on pages 4 and 5 for sure, might send them to potential clients to pre-qualify them for my services. Also, memorizing them in my own words for use in one-on-one meetings with prospects at business functions and social meetings. Thanks again! |

Dexx, GREAT QUESTIONS my friend. What I like about this is that it will seperate the individual who actually uses these questions and this method of talking with prospects from the run of the mill sales people who think their job is to just go tell what they know and sell, sell, sell. Professional salespeople will realize selling is mostly listening and not so much flapping the jaws as many will do. The bonus info at end of report is great too. Thank You! Randy |

Haha I'll pass that compliment to my Dentist, thank you! =) Hopefully you don't delay too long, there's businesses hurting RIGHT NOW who could use as much help as they can get...despite what you think, you actually do know quite a lot of strategies that could help those businesses start making money right NOW... Food for thought ![]() ~Dexx |

Memorizing them is definitely the main goal of this template! Don't worry so much about the questions, as much as the information you NEED to find out so that you can ensure whatever you suggest as a solution is EXACTLY what the client has been waiting to find! Mostly memorize the 5 category headings, and then find your own method of getting the information out, that way you can easily do interviews and marketing on the fly should the topic come up =) ~Dexx Quote:

Thanks Randy! You nailed it with the listening observation, he who talks the least...wins! Let them vent, let them share their pain...and then offer them a solution that desperately need...doesn't get any easier =) Now go out there and make a difference! ~Dexx Quote:

So one eye doctor, one dentist, one injury lawyer, etc. per City but then I can take the material created and developed for them, and expand into a new City, saving time instead of re-creating it all from scratch...but still charging a premium =) ~Dexx | |

AdWords is just one tool of promotion for promoting a business, there's multiple ways to generate new leads etc. (not covered in this template of course) Keep in mind even if only 5 - 10 people are coming to the businesses website each day from AdWords, that's still an extra 150 - 300 possible prospects for that business. If he closes JUST 1% (chances are if you do a good job you'll close much much higher) of them and the average sale is worth a lot, then the volume of people is not an issue, it's the return on investment for hiring you that matters. ~Dexx Quote:

Thanks Dexx. I downloaded this awhile back and used it today for the first time. I have to tell you, by the fourth question, my prospect and I were new best friends. This questionaire leaves no room for defensiveness, only rapport building. And I am not surprised. Much success! |

Great free report, Dexx! Very helpful. I've found, over the years, that in this biz it's all about asking questions and letting the client tell you what they need. But knowing the right questions to ask is half the battle. Good work! Thanks. :-) One CRITICAL thing I would add (and maybe you want to put this in v2 of your report) is that it's very important, once you get the gig, to manage client expectations! Make sure your new client knows that while with certain parts of what you're doing it's possible to see concrete "results" quickly (website, Facebook page, Twitter page, etc.), this is not the same as the ultimate results -- followers, leads, sales, repeat business, etc. -- that come from all the "invisible" stuff you're doing behind the scenes. Most business owners don't care about metrics or how you do what you do. They just want the end result! But we all know the "end results" -- much of which comes from SEO, backlinks and traffic generation -- take time. I usually tell my new clients not to expect anything dramatic for 3 months, minimum. Now, in practice, I can usually deliver "dramatic" results (by most small business standards) within weeks. But I'd rather over deliver and have them raving about me, than not give them the "instant results" they want and be disappointed. |
