If you have many blogs and want an easy way to manage them get this! I saw WPmanagerDX a while back and was impressed but did not buy because I was using another script at the time.

When I saw that Edna was giving it away I had to snap it up, why?

say you have 5-6 blogs and you want to upgrade all of them, here is your choice;
the manual way
- log into blog1
- backup the WP database and WP files (just in case!)
- remove old WP files
- upload new WP files
- perform upgrade
- repeat each step for every blog
.......do this every new release of WP

the smart way
- configure WPManagerDX to manage all your blogs (do this once)
- log into WPManagerDX
- select backup & upgrade options for all blogs
- click start
- sit back and wait for the script to do its thing
.....do this for every new release of WP

I know which sounds the better option to me.
Hear this! there is another script by a well known marketer that does same thing (maybe better?) costing $1997 or $67/mth

Yes if you get stuck installing wpmanager I will assist you.

Yes as long as the other hosts are yours, you may install wpmdx
there as well.

Yes with our last release we added support to wordpress 2.7.

You may add your existing wordpress blogs (version 2.3 and above) as projects and Mark as Installed. Then you can update the script
to latest wordpress version.

To be honest, I mis-read your WSO - I thought it was $97 per MONTH, which seemed about right with 600 PLR articles which include matching themed WP blogs (with WP Manager DX and Article Manager DX included as a bonus.)

I always do 20 at a time in Batch Install section. Have heard some members do 30 to 40. I would prefer to do 10 to 20 at a time if you are on a shared host.

i still have problems understanding how i can add several already installed WP blogs to wpmanagerdx and then manage from a central point.

The number of my blogs is rapidly increasing, and it gets increasingly difficult to maintain and update them. How do i go about adding existing blogs, scattered over various domains, to wpmanagerdx?

Hello,

You can add already installed blog in either Single Install or Batch Install sections. You enter the info of the blog as if it was new but towards the end before Saving the project, you Mark as Installed and then Save the project.

Please note if you want to also update the blogs to latest version of wordpress, then they need to be version 2.3 and above.

When you login to the member area you will see on the top menu the option Member Menus click on that and it will pop down some sub-menus and one of them is My Downloads, click on that and it will take you to the download page.

Hello Ron,

If you are referring about being able to upload these 2 plugins and activating from wpmanagerdx then yes is possible.

With WPMdx you can upload your own plugins and when installing the blog activate them as well. But note that each plugin gets activated but some require you to manually finish setting up in the wordpress admin area.

I've got this up and running with no problems (detected yet) on my HostGator baby-croc.

But I've got a question.
The themes and plugins-- do I need to unzip each, or do I just upload the the folders of zips and WPM or WP unzips them as needed?

Hello Lee,

The themes and plugins need to be zipped, wpmdx will unzip and activate when creating blogs. You will upload via your wpmdx Manage Themes and Manage Plugins sections.

Hello Kel,

You choose the theme you want to use. You are able to upload your own wordpress themes. Just find the one that best fits your needs to upload via wpmanager admin area and when creating a blog choose the one you need.

The PLR content alone, i almost need a new harddrive since its MASSIVE.

Hello Georg,

The only way is to use Batch Install's CSV feature. You would need to enter each domain's info one by one and save as csv or copy and paste to the textbox in this Batch Install section. There is a certain format to use, please refer to the instructions in the admin guide.

Thank you for your interest.

When you create blogs you are able to also create a profile
with the settings you have just filled in.

So when you go back to create more even if its single or batch
install sections, you can load the profile you want to use
and create blogs on different domain with the same settings
you have with other blogs.

Also if you already have a blog that was not installed with wpmdx,
then you can create a project with the same info on that blog
and instead choose Mark as Installed, setup new profile and
just Save the project, without messing things up with the
blog. That way if you want to setup more blogs with the
same info then you can do so by loading the profile.
Just change the cpanel login and any other info you need
and click Install.

Please note: WPMdx best works when installing blogs on domains/subdomains on the same host where wpmdx is installed on.
This is because it uses cpanel and not ftp. Some hosts don't
allow remote cpanel access so its best to install on the same
hosts.

WPMdx installs on domains in reseller accounts or on addon
domains too.
