The letter has lots of whitespace (as sales letters should) and is 6 pages long. It wouldn't be good for a flyer but it would be suitable on a landing page.

Russ - this is a great letter and I love how it eliminates the price objection! Questions...

1. Do you have printed stationary with letter head that you use or do you just type your
company name, addr. etc. at the top of the letter?

2. Do you print the envelope or hand address?

3. Do you put "confidential" or anything else on the envelop as some other warrior's have suggested? If so, do you use a red stamp or handwritten?

Details, I know, but they can make a difference!

Just Read the letter and it's PERFECT!
I highly recommend this to anyone interested in perusing offline clients. I do use a similar approach in my presentation to clients that come into my office and now with this, I'll be sending it to different niches. (after I register the niche domain first that is)

Great WSO, you saved me "A LOT" of time doing this. I'm a little lazy when it comes to doing these things, although I shouldn't be, as I know personally how much money there is to be made by getting just one client on this system!

You don't NEED both - they are completely different - but you may WANT both.

Either could be used to sell PPC instead of SEO.

Russ (great name by the way),

I just got your letter. Well written and defiantly a great value. It will save me hours of work and the mental anguish of editing with my perfectionist tendency. For 5 bucks if you're marketing off-line I can assure people this letter beats the many from the famous and expensive courses - names withheld to protect the guilty.

As a salesperson I can say your letter handles the price issue brilliantly. Not only does it pre-qualify customers but it minimizes the issue and makes the higher priced service a benefit. Fantastic stuff.

Russ, my questions relate to an earlier poster's question - which you kind of blew off with humor. I get that you can't promise conversion rates or give us the entire model of your business (especially for $5) but there was a legitimate reason for asking.

In the US we can't fax. So we have to estimate costs of mailing, say $1 per letter, and do enough for profitable conversion but not too many that we can't follow up. Lastly we have estimate the mailing lists to be bought in terms of cost and quantity.

If you could give us some of these benchmarks or instruction on how to implement your letter I would appreciate it. Russ, I'd even pay for your report on it. Based on your letter you clearly know your stuff. Many thanks...Russ

PS: to people considering this and just not pulling the trigger - PULL IT. I'm with you, I delayed and read this, and delayed some more. How good could this letter be for $5? Come on, really? Russ (great name by the way), I just got your letter. Well written and defiantly a great value. It will save me hours of work and the mental anguish of editing with my perfectionist tendency. For 5 bucks if you're marketing off-line I can assure people this letter beats the many from the famous and expensive courses - names withheld to protect the guilty. As a salesperson I can say your letter handles the price issue brilliantly. Not only does it pre-qualify customers but it minimizes the issue and makes the higher priced service a benefit. Fantastic stuff. Russ, my questions relate to an earlier poster's question - which you kind of blew off with humor. I get that you can't promise conversion rates or give us the entire model of your business (especially for $5) but there was a legitimate reason for asking. In the US we can't fax. So we have to estimate costs of mailing, say $1 per letter, and do enough for profitable conversion but not too many that we can't follow up. Lastly we have estimate the mailing lists to be bought in terms of cost and quantity. If you could give us some of these benchmarks or instruction on how to implement your letter I would appreciate it. Russ, I'd even pay for your report on it. Based on your letter you clearly know your stuff. Many thanks...Russ PS: to people considering this and just not pulling the trigger - PULL IT. I'm with you, I delayed and read this, and delayed some more. How good could this letter be for $5? Come on, really? Hey I can write a letter myself. I never heard of this guy (although the name sounds familiar). After getting it I'm thrilled. Russ' letter is a home run for less than the cost of lunch. It will save you hours of writing. If you're looking for clients this letter will do the trick.
