This product looks good, but I must be one of the first to see it.

First, the bad news.

The page after PayPal -- where it's supposed to have an encrypted link -- had no links on it. Also, the email with the Forum link -- that I think I need to visit to figure out how to install the plugin and use it -- does not have a complete link. In my email, the text (that's probably supposed to be a link) starts ?member_id=

So, I'm not sure how to install and use this plugin. That's a teensy bit frustrating.

The good news is, the email with the product link (not the Forum link) worked fine.

My apologies on the link not working. Yes - you are one of the first to get download.

I'll get that fixed right away. I made some last minute changes to that file, and must have made a mistake.

Glad I had a backup plan of emailing the links

I had the opportunity to test this plugin pre-release.

Here's my verdict: Very easy to install and set up and it does what it's supposed to do i.e. serve up to four different variations of a page (without changing the URL) and track all clicks.

I personally really like to use WordPress and a good theme plus this plugin means that you can get sales-pages ready very quickly.

Finally, let me just say that you should never underestimate the importance of split-testing. This may not seem as glamorous as many "X dollars in X days (on autopilot!)" offers, but if used wisely, split-testing will have a greater impact on your bottom line than all the ebooks in the world.

A definite thumbs-up from me.

Looks like an excellent plugin. I received the download link OK and joined the forum without any problems. I found the installation video too fast to follow and would have preferred a PDF. Once I get the plugin setup sorted out I think it will be worth it's weight in gold.

Have grabbed a copy paid and have downlaoded I was thinking about where to get such a Plugin. Does it work well with Flex Squeeze?

It would be nice if future versions would allow you to queue up split testing so that you can just load all your split test in and check back a year later and see how it went

Not quite sure what it does yet as I have not installed it, but will have a look and report back with something useful to say.

This is not stab or anything it is a good product I am sure (I bought it anyway) but you could work on your sales page a bit, I was left with a lot of questions that I would have liked answers too about what this product does exactly that I could not find on the sales page.

Things like how does it track the response do you have to copy and paste code onto your thank you pages.

How does it split test colours is it able to change the CSS code of the theme?


How easy is it to split test and what do you have to do in order implement a test

What does the admin panel look like?
Etc etc.

I purchased it because I need something that can split test for WordPress and trust you as a fellow warrior but if I had come across this page outside of the warrior forum I don't think I would have bought it.

I know your just launching and will most likely be making a lot of changes before sending outside traffic so don't take offence I just want to make you aware of how I would have felt if I was a cold lead.

Your video on your salespage is almost useless to me because it does not have a pause or a rewind function. With my slow internet connection it does not load and is stopped far more than playing. Frustrating.

Same problem with the demos. Videos.

So I do not know what your plugin does or how it does it or whatever else may be hidden in the video.

Some text explanation or at least a video with a pause and rewind button would be a huge improvement.

I think that a queing system will be a good addition to the next version, and I was contemplating this already. However, with split testing, I'm not sure I'd let it go for a whole year. The idea is to test things out for a while, to eventually set up a system that is "set and forget". Split testing is what will help you get to this point with maximal conversion rates.

The sales page is lacking for sure. This has been mentioned quite a bit, and more will be added in the future. Thanks for trusting me as a warrior.

The split tests work like this:

There is an admin panel that allows you to create campaigns. Each campaign can have up to 4 different tests. Each test is just HTML code (whatever you want) where you make the changes in each page for color, heading, or whatever. The interface is identical to the WordPress interface, so you can use HTML, or the visual interface.


When you're done with creating the campaign, you add a shortcode into your wordpress page, and you're done.

Thanks for your feedback.

On the left-hand side of the video is a small pause button (||) that should allow for the video to buffer up and then play.

I chose video for this initially because if was easy to set-up, and I thought would explain things better.

The really nice thing is that I can split test by adding a regular sales page into my split test, and then I'll be split testing which sells better, long-copy sales page, video sales pages, or a short-copy sales page.

More text will be coming soon to the sales pages though, as this has been a common feature that's been mentioned by many.

Neither the sales video pause button or the sales video download link are visible in my Firefox.

In Opera the pause button is visble and I was able to download the video which is even better with my internet connection.

So I have watched your sales video and also Shane's video.
The plugin looks good!

I have not been able to view the demos however as clicking on the demo button brings up a page that says it is the demo for the green headline but it then plays the sales video. I tried it several times, same result. So in both my Firefox and Opera your demo is not working.

But I have seen enough to understand that the plugin is very useful and very good value at the price. I will purchase and brave your download links shortly. (I think you did say the download links are fixed?)

I just hope I can understand just what the plugin does and how to use.

By the way Matt, I find the $11 price tag interesting. Makes a pleasant change from the robotic $9.97 or $9.99 or $9.95! (I think you have just broken a whole lot of "conventional" pricing "wisdom" by pricing in even dollars and over the $10. Good on you!) The $37 price is one of several that is being split test. The only link that is valid for WSO is the single page I sent you to. I mean, this is a split testing plugin that I can use to test price for non-WSO folks! If you kept trying you'd see that I was testing both higher, and lower prices

So I was asking for you to send me your Name/Email and possibly PayPal transaction Id (which are common things to request of a seller, even here on WF), to make locating your purchase in my system easier.

You could use my help - in a BIG way. I tried contacting you through the email you have at PayPal - it's a dud. So is the site. You need to fix that. I finally got your Download. It's very confusing. And the File isn't named WPSplitTest or something for me to find it easily. No doubt I can work it out as I'm used to Wordpress but newbies would find it daunting. Your video has no sound and goes way too fast - so that isn't much help either. When I get a chance I'll read the installation PDF again, install the thing and run it. Your salespage also needs work. I'll give you some pointers. But who knows - this could be a great product . You just need to clean your act up. I'm prepared to help you but lose the attitude. You're not doing us a favor - we're doing you one. All you need is one or two lousy reviews from known Warriors and your WSO becomes a dead duck. I did watch the video in your support area but as has been noted elsewhere the video is WAY too fast and needs verbal instructions instead of the fast music which was to me so distressing that I had to turn the sound off.

Some instructions on the "Help" page in the settings of the plugin would be good too. (And personally I would prefer all the settings to be on one page instead of four pages. Opening pages back and forth is too slow with my internet connection.)

Your plugin appears to be very useful but more clear instructions on what it does and how to use it upfront would be great. (Saves you and us time if the instructions are clear up front instead of needing back and forth Q & A.)

Your PayPal customer service URL is mesamoments.com - a parked site. The customer contact email is sales@mesamoments.com - it bounces. I think you'll find you're in breach of PayPal TOS.

There is nothing wrong with my ISP - I'm on HS Broadband on a brand-new Dual-Core Intel iMac.

The file is called 1.0-clean after the zip opens.

My speakers are external BOSE - both powerful and LOUD. I meant you don't talk - you don't explain things - you just have a music track.

Do you have any information on the SEO impact of using this plugin? How will the search engine treat these variations? Are they seperate pages and will thefore be marked as mainly duplicate content or is this managaed some other way?

That's a great question -

Because the split tests use the same URL, the content won't be duplicated in that fashion.

The tests are pulled at runtime for the same URL. So as far as Google's concerned, you're just making updates and changes.

This is part of what makes the plugin so great - you can send PPC traffic to the same URL, and it will run the splits for you.

Is this good or bad for SEO ? I really can't say for sure.

I'm not running it on any sites that I am tracking organic stats on, so I really don't have a great answer... I suspect that it's just fine, but that's one test I haven't run!

Posts and pages can be split test, but not sidebar widgets.

The sidebar widgets will have tracking enabled to track which pages/posts give the sidebar/footer/header links the most clicks though.

But at this time, sidebar widgets aren't setup to be part of the split test.
