Hi Choying,

Listing individual domains is not the way to go. You want to promote your website where all the domains are continually updated for prospective customers to see. For example, at a real-estate related forum, you could promote your site by saying "Great real estate domains, name your own price!".

It doesn't take much promotion to start getting offers on the domains, because the customer can offer anything they wish. It's VERY appealing for the customer to be able to name their own price, and you have total flexibility in what you're willing to accept for a final price.

Hi John,

1) The current registrar is Fabulous.com, but the domains may be transferred to any registrar of your choice.
2) Yes, PayPal is preferred.
3) The site is completely editable. You can add your own domains, but they would appear in a separate list.

You have full FTP and cpanel access, and may change anything you'd like.

Hi Monica,

Whichever Member reserves the name first, gets to sell the domain to their customer. The scenario you described has never happened, but if it does it would be very rare and not a big deal.

Yes, you may add your own domains, but they would be in a separate list or you may want to add a new page with your "featured" domains. You have a lot of flexibility.

Great questions John. Here is the process.

When you receive an offer and purchase the name from us ($18), upon receiving your order we immediately push the domain to your account (you will need to create a free account at Fabulous.com, just for the purpose of a speedy, streamlined transaction). Once it's in your account, you can transfer it to any registrar you'd like. Yes, you would pay the new registrar whatever their rate is to ADD an additional year to the current registration. If the domain is younger than 60 days, it will have to remain registered at Fabulous.com until the 60 days are up.

That being said, fewer than 5% of the names in the database are younger than 60 days old. I try to keep it that way as much as possible.

I just found this site while I was searching for a Word Press PlugIn. I was looking at the other offers here and saw this one "on fire" so I decided to check it out.

100 charter members x $37 a month looks like a great monthly income for the owner.

500 names / 100 members = 5 names each

I looked at most of the names and a lot seem unsellable at a premium price, so it's probably less than 5 names each. I can register 5 domain names myself for around $37 a month and not have to worry about somebody else trying to sell the same name.

I know there is a lot of money to be made selling domain names. Members will probably recover their monthly cost with 1 sale. It depends on how much time it takes to get the 1 sale.

I would really like to join something like this.

Any chance you are going to increase the number of names to more than 500? or use the membership fees to add more higher quality names?

I hope this doesn't sound too negative, I see the real potential of something like this. Your quote about needing about $5K to invest is a great point. Your recent bonuses raise the value also.

I'm just worried about this group of names having too many sellers. Once you get past the Charter Members and start adding regular members the numbers are going to get even worse. It kind of reminds me of all the booths at the flea market selling the same SMC stuff.

I really hope you add more names, or more quality names. I'd really like to join. Hopefully I will before the discount charter memberships are gone.

Good questions, but your conclusions are incorrect. Please allow me to sort this out for you.

That would be true if there were only 500 domains for the whole month. The fact is, if 100 domains were sold every day, 100 would be added to keep the daily list at 500 minimum. But there could very well be 10,000 domains moved through the system if the collective group of Members sold that many. If each Member sold 1 domain per day, there would be 3,000 domains sold that month. The list of 500+ shown on the website are simply the most recent block.

I have invested over $10,000 out of pocket to create this membership program, and currently reinvest all the income back in to support the investment of new domains. I won't even mention how many hours a day I work at it. I can only hope to see a "great income" from this at some point. Isn't that why any of us are in business?

Absolutely. But you have 5 domains to offer your prospect. Doesn't it make more sense to be able to offer your prospect 500+ domains to choose from?

Yes, of course. As explained above, there are many thousands of names offered through the course of each month. You only see 500 of them at any one given moment.

I understand why you would think that, but nothing is further from the truth. I know how many domains are available for me to register on a daily basis. If all 500 domains were sold in 1 day, they would immediately be replaced by 500 more. And each one is a UNIQUE "product", unlike mass-produced Flea market items. The bottom line is, I will not allow more members into the program than can be easily supported.

There has not yet been an affiliate program offered. I don't know for sure whether or not there will ever be. But if an affiliate program is ever offered, you can bet that it will be based on how many available domains we can register at any given point. I could easily suport 1,000 members if they each sold 1 domain per month. But I would not be able to support 1,000 members if they each were selling 1 per day. It's all relative to what members are capable of.
