For one of the main keywords, you said there are XXX amount of searches per month, but when I used google keyword tool, it says 260. what tool are you using to come up with the monthly traffic for this niche?

You are looking at the "local search for last month, under (exact) match.
Global under "exact" is 590

"Broad" match is where the figures come from under "global monthly searches"

One thing to remember is that people DO NOT search with quotes on, or with your "exact" keyword. You can surmise that just from looking at all the ways you can research the term under different matches....the bottom line is: "is that there ARE searches for the keyword, searches mean traffic, and even one search is a potential sale.

But before I do, I want to clarify something.
If you give keywords with a monthly search of 590.
Don't get me wrong, but I would not call that "off the charts.."
When I look for suitable keywords I usually look for keywords in the thousands.
Since I don't have one of your products, I don't know if all the keywords supplied are of that calibre.
This is just a small point, but maybe you can explain some more.
