Just grabbed the Home Biz pack. Very excited to make a go of this, been thinking about a membership site for a while. I am considering whether to try and do it all myself or take you up on the 30 day offer, in the mean time assuming I decide to do all the setting up myself what would you recommend as a first starting point, watching through all the videos or reading the PDFs?

Also, do you have a recommendation as to which platform to built the site on? I mean I'm reasonably comfortable with WP, but this may not be the best option in this instance?

By the way, I didn't realise you're a fellow aussie until after I purchased. So now I feel even better about it, and I won't hold you being melbournian against you either

Hold of on the 30 day program as we are full at he moment.

It depends on what you can do yourself.

As a minimum, I suggest some sort of customization of the content. Just some tweaks.. perhaps adding some resources with your affiliate link.

Obviously a unique domain is required and you could alter the web header accordingly.

Read the blueprint first in the download area. Not the videos. This will explain the process.

Take a look at the business tools page for the wordpress script if you want to go that way, otherwise you can simple use a html site with multiple download pages.

Thanks for the question. Sure, I can elaborate...

This particular home biz pack is about home biz 101. That is what you need to get started - pros and cons etc.

It also covers different home biz opportunities that are available, and how to get the basics in place correctly.

The strategy I use with my own sites is to aim for beginners and give a general overview, as per this pack... then promote them into more specific memberships such as blogging for profit, ebay selling etc.

I agree my terms are ambiguous now that you pointed it out.

It's not designed so that you buy the package and just resell it. That's not my intention.

The rights as I see them are:

Could you help me out with a question. I'm a novice to the concept of using membership plr. As I understand, you are selling 150 licenses of each "ready-made" membership plr package. So, doesn't that mean that I'm competing with 149 other licensees for an identical offering? However considering the 80/20 rule, and that perhaps 30 licensees will actually do the work by implementing and marketing the package, I'm still competing with 29 identical membership offerings.

How would you suggest a membership newbie compete favorably for members considering there are probably another 29 identical membership offerings online at the same time? Thanks

Great question John...

Firstly, not everyone will use the content for a membership site.

There are many ways you can use the content such as creating a 4 week ecoaching program, or a study course.

Secondly, the key with this and all PLR material is to never use it as is.

As easy as this system is, you should always conduct a minimum of editing and customization of the content. Look at ways to add value.

Add audio or tutorial videos. Add some resources. The possibilities are endless.

Create a unique name, customize the website slightly (change the colors).

If you're serious, I'd be (and have done so) breaking it down to a demographic such as age, gender etc and promote it to them.

Finally, you have to also consider that the chances that you are competing for the same customer is are pretty slim as some people will already have lists, and there will be different promo avenues which people use.

If you still believe that it is saturated, then I strongly advise you to not use any PLR content whatsoever, and create your material from scratch.

Hi Roma,

If you are referring to adding your own videos.. then YES... 100% absolutely. This is a s strategy I recommend and use myself.

There are 2 ways to do this...

Firstly, if you are offering a download of the video, you simply insert a 2nd download link on the appropriate download page.

The alternative is to embed the video on the download page, then add the content download link beneath it.

Either way, it's a just a few tweaks which are then replicated on all pages.

This is for all those sitting on the fence about this WSO. I'll just say it straight up, I purchased the WSO a couple of weeks ago and due to some unforeseen and unfortunate personal reasons have had to ask for a refund (which I promptly received).

S--t happens as they say, but I wanted to come back to this thread and write a few words for benefit of the warriors who have not had the pleasure of dealing with Sal and are not familiar with quality of his product.

The content and training in this WSO is top notch and if you decide to purchase it, you will see just how seriously under-priced it is. The best experience for me though has been Sal's service and customer support. I had a number of questions over the last couple of weeks and each time it was answered within 24 hours. I was loath to ask for a refund, especially after all the help I received from him, but the guy is a gentlemen and completely trustworthy. Maybe it's just me, but these qualities I don't see too often in the world of Internet Marketing.

Anyway, despite having to ask for a refund, this has been such a positive experience for me, I just had to come back and write something about it.

So he's not just offering "templates" but have you ever even tried to get a *good* sales letter written by any copywriter??

I can assure you - the ones I've paid for in the past - the CHEAPEST (and it was garbage) was $200 by itself. I still had to design (or buy) templates.

Copywriting/sales letters will by themselves costs you upwards of $500 and up for ANYTHING half decent.

I think perhaps you're missing the fact that he's not really focusing on the templates as much as he is that they are Also FILLED OUT.

Now, for the record, I have not bought this, but I do read many of the WSO's - and (I repeat) for the record, since you admitted to NOT have bought this - it is totally against the terms of this forum to bash a product that you haven't purchased or received access to.

Fair warning. The mods just don't like it, and it's completely unfair to the creator of this WSO.

Sure there are hundreds of different ways to get things created. Some cheap, some free, some expensive.

What is on offer here is a package whereby 98% of everything has been done for a customer. Quite obvious and simple.

Whilst I'm happy to debate the merits of quoted values on products... and I probably agree 100% with you about over-inflated statements... this isn't the place to do it.

This is a paid thread where marketers pay to promote their products. If you buy a product and it's crap then you're entitled to comment accordingly.

If not, then save it for the General Forum in future.

Hi Jan,

100% absolutely. Edit as you wish. I encourage that you do this and command a higher membership fee.

If you have more detailed or advanced content, then I suggest that you either use this as a front end, or extend the membership term accordingly. Start with the basics then move on to advanced stuff.

It's a one-off fee and no recurring fees involved with this WSO.
