I was surprised by the quality of the work and have now had lots of articles and all have been of the same high standard, and quick delivery.

As you know i'm now no longer looking for a content service, Marx has replied to my emails all the time very quickly and is a great person to work with, I can't praise this service enough.

Bottom line if you need good content then look no further. This is quality well researched articles all written to an equal high standard of anyone in an english speaking country.

Thanks Marx

For those of you yet to see and talk to me here: I'm Marx Melencio, founder and marketing communications strategist of our 6-year old ICT (Information & Communications Technology) outsourcing company, Grayscale Business Consultancy & Marketing Services. I've been totally blind, for more than 9 years now, after I was gunned down, twice, in 2003...

Cherry (my wife) and I, after this incident, built our company, from scratch, without any capital investment, other than our own time and skills. We worked, tirelessly, at home, and after barely five months, our business, which was then comprised of four work at home moms and dads, including my wife and I, grew into:

=>> A company with 87 employees, more than 60 homebased subcontractors, 7 subcontractor businesses each with their own groups of 12 employees, 2 head offices based here in Manila, 9 provincial city offices across the country and 11 long term content writing and online marketing contracts with prominent software development corporations in North America and the EU. And, from 2005 to 2009:

• We helped the carrier product of one of these North American software development corporations to become THE WORLD'S BEST SELLING Microsoft Windows System Registry software cleaner OF ALL TIME! Yeah, with my eyes closed...

***Watch the Youtube video documentary above of yours truly -- It was produced by the Asia Pacific Development Center on Disability of the United Nations. They give it away in conferences and seminars or workshops about ICT and its role in inclusive business and employment opportunities for people with disabilities around the world. This video documentary was uploaded to Youtube by a good friend, Thomas Ng, owner of Genashtim and former Asia Pacific CEO (for more than 25 years) of Asea Brown Boveri, the world's largest power engineering firm. Hi Marx and Warriors,

Here's my review of Marx's Service:

I am with Marx's VA for over 2 weeks now. I am VERY HAPPY with her performance, attitude and commitment to work. She is able to produce the work that I expected and if there is anything beyond her control, she will send me an email to notify me. All works are produced according to my format with prompt reporting.

Few things commendable:
1. The VA's are 100% trainable. I have been training her to write Press Releases and she is doing really good now, I can say, very professional, fast and beyond my expectation
2. She had a medical leave, informed via email. After that, she worked on weekends to replace the work during her medical leave. I did not ask for this but she did this AUTOMATIC. Now, this shows how committed she is, her attitude and the success of Marx in leading his company. This is something you cannot train, if you agree. I think Marx has a very good culture in his company, something that everyone of us will need from a VA.

The only glitch I notice is that Marx is kinda busy, so you may need to wait for an email reply. I respect his busy schedule and I guess, Marx, why not get an VA to ease your job

Warriors, I hope this review gives you an insight into Marx's service and help you land on a great VA you can reply on, trust and work with for 10 years. If you need clarification, PM me, more than happy to tell success story

Will Marx increase the price if he has a surge in business? I don't think so :P Because in business, staying "BEST" is MANDATORY.

Marx, Good job!

Daniel[/quote]

What kind of Quality Assurance reports do you run to ensure the work is getting completed and if necessary, so we can perform our own audits as well?

Do have references in the USA that we would be able to contact to ask about your service?

Thank you,

RoD

Default FAQs and UPDATES

Mar 08 2012 GMT+8 UPDATE: A few of our available writer employees have training and experience in title level, sentence level and word level content spinning. Each work day: A full timer can write 3 unique 350++-word write-ups (articles, blog posts, product reviews). These 3 write-ups will then be spun in title level and sentence level. Then, each title and sentence version will be spun in word level. This means you'll receive, on a daily basis, three title, sentence and word level-spun 350++-word write-ups. A part timer can on the other hand provide you with two uniquely written 300++-word write-ups, which will then be title level, sentence level and word level spun, per day. This also means a full timer can provide you with six 150++-word title, sentence and word level spun BMR posts or two 500++-word title level, sentence level and word level spun UAW articles per day, and a part timer can provide you with half of this output per day...

Can you tell me the amount of links that can be built on a daily/weekly basis for the Backlink Builder? For the account creation manager role as well?

EDIT: Sorry, was so exhausted from an 18-hour work day, everyday – lol!

Up to 30 links for the backlink builder per day (up to 1K links, built on 500 PR5-above dofollow sites, per month – 2 keyword anchors for 2 of your URLs per site).

As for the account creation manager, up to 600 data entry tasks like article submissions and emails/accounts/etc. per 8-hour work day.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Marx

Hi Marx,

Surely you didn't mean that the back link builder would only build three links a day?

I as well have some questions about your employees.

1. For the Programmers and web developers, are any of them proficient in Drupal programming, for example modifying modules, etc.?

2. For the SEO type employee, can the SEO type as well be used for updating blogs and their content, like in Type 3?

3. What type of link building do the SEO type employees have? There is mention of a monthly list of 500 sites, but do they do profile building, blog commenting, link wheels? Directory submissions? Reciprocal site exchanges?

4. Do we deal with employee directly, or do we have to go through supervisors?

Thanks

Hi! Hope all's well.

1) Drupal = yes.

2) Yes.

3) Any type you need – they're trained and experienced in link building techniques/strategies deployed by us, but of course we consider the fact that others have different SEO/SEM beliefs, so that's why we also train them to be open for other possibilities.

4) You can communicate with your assistant/s directly = supervisors/managers/team leaders are there to assist you in monitoring and grading plus training your assistants each day while on the job – we aim to make outsourcing a semi-hands off experience for clients.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Marx

I think Rod wanted to know how do we know what is happening every day, do the work reports get sent over to us? Can we watch what the worker is doing during the time they are working?

Are we put in direct contact with the worker so we can give them the tasks directly and make sure they understand what to do? Or do we talk to someone else?

Finally, do you know how many 400-500 word articles an article writer could complete in a day/week average?

Thanks!

PS. This looks like it might be a great service, you are taking a lot of the hassle out of the hiring and training that comes with outsourcing.

Jack,

Hi! Hope all's well.

Yes, detailed daily work progress and status reports are sent by your assistants and their team leaders, not the office managers. They are required to do this at the end of their daily work shift and also send email notifications to you at the start of the day. Office managers on the other hand are required to chart their daily performance and send reports to our senior workforce specialists.

Reckon you mean video conferencing while they're working? Yes, but I advise otherwise because employees tend to be jumpy whe33n clients are watching over their backs. The team leaders and office managers are there anyway to do this for clients like you.

What I suggest is for constant voice and text chat via Yahoo! Messenger and/or Skype as well as email exchanges between clients and their assistants.

Assistants and their team leaders are required to be constantly online on Yahoo! Messenger, Skype and email during their work day.

You are given direct communication access to your assistants, their team leader/s, the office manager/s and me.

Based on tests and results I've conducted over the years (since Sept 2006), a full time content writer assistant can complete 10 400to500-word content pages in 8 hours without compensating overall quality. They are also required to manually proofread their work and check it with our proprietary duplicate content checker. Of course, our editorial teams and QA department validate that the overall quality and uniqueness of their work satisfy our quality standards. Otherwise, it heir work is corrected, and they problem areas are pointed out to them and given the right instructions to do in succeeding days so they could learn from the experience, which prevents the same mistakes in their next batches of work.

If however a full time content writer is assigned submission/data entry work on top of his or her daily riting quota, the number of 400to500-word content pages goes down to 8 (from 10 content pages without data entry work).

So, a simpler equation would be:

pure content research and writing = 4500 words / 8-hour day

content research and writing + data entry work (submissions and content uploading) = 3500 words per 8-hour day

Well, I am primarily the person solely responsible and accountable for the work of all my employees. If they can't do things right, I have made the mistake of assigning them to work with you at your clearly laid down tasks before the start of our business partnership. If they tend to have difficulties in learning new things from their own initiative to study stuff or learn from their mistakes, then I made the mistake of deploying the wrong (1) hiring requirements, (2) training standards and procedures and (3) managerial and trainor training and workflow implementation plans.

...but if it's a bad case of common sense... lol... then that means I also formulated then implemented the wrong applicant testing processes.

For any problem, concern, issue or whathaveyou with your assistants and all their seniors = we can talk, analyze relevant stuff to identify problems then bounce ideas to formulate solutions until we come up with a most effective set of workaround methods and preventive measures to implement.

That's the Grayscale guarantee right there = one person is solely responsible and accountable, so responsibility and accountability is owned, not shared.

Hope this helps.

Looking forward to a fruitful long term business partnership with you guys!

I started the hire. Today is the first day. I will post back on my review whether it is good or not. So far, I have not got the VA's details yet, so I don't think today's job can be finished on time?

Daniel,

Guia has been telling me all about the tasks she has done for you, and she also informed me she's scheduled to learn new things about SEO, data entry and various content development strategies. This is good because she's been trained in article content writing, blog posting, Joomla/WP/Drupal CMS uploading and has been working with us since early 2007. Prior to her work with us, she has well over 8 years collective phone customer support, telemarketing and product info support training and experience plus 2 years worth of research work for international non-profit organizations.

Hope to hear more from you.

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Marx

Daniel,

How has your experience been with your new assistant? Have you spoken with them and are they doing a good job for you?

Hi Marx and Warriors,

Here's my review of Marx's Service:

I am with Marx's VA, Guia for over 2 weeks now.

HI Marx

How many unique articles (decent quality) can the employees write daily?
You say they can build whatever links wanted. I'd be interested in examples of numbers of links submitted daily, per link type (if possible)?

thx

Hi! Hope all's well.

Each content writer employee has a daily quota of 3500++ words with data entry/submission/CMS uploading work or 4500++ words without data entry work.

This means they can do content marketing worth 3500++ words with backlink building/posting/submission/commenting work. This collective number of words can be divided into any reasonable number of forum posts, blog comments, article submissions, press release submissions, etc.

It takes a content writer employee 1.5 hours on average to freshly write then manually submit 1 450++-word article to 30 directories. An hour is needed also on average to contribute 400++ words worth of forum posts across 5 forums (or 80++ words worth of 2-3 forum threads and replies on each forum). An hour is necessary, on average, to create 400++-words worth of intelligent comments on 10 blogs (1 40++-word comment on each blog).

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Marx

Just wanted to give Marx a big thumbs up for his service!

I have hired one writer, and she is doing great. It was a great time saver to have Marx do the filtering to find the best person for my needs, and she and Marx have been very responsive and great to work with.

I am currently in the process of hiring my second writer as I write this!!

Thanks again Marx

I've been using Marx's company since last monday, I have got to say the experience has exceeded my expectations.

I am not new to outsourcing, at one time i had 13 part timers working for me writing, promoting etc, I've never had someone as dedicated and with such a wide skills base.

Highly recommended.

Marx,
Can your folks create complete xsitepro websites?

I've had a few outsourcers do this for me in the past and it worked well, but I haven't been making sites for a few years now and all of my previous helpers have moved on to other things.

A perfect solution for me would be if you had workers that could create a 10-50 page website in xsitepro, including writing the content, etc. They'd then send me the entire website file to download on my one computer/web host.

The format, style and overall "architecture" of the site would be specified by me and I can also include links to example websites so your folks would see exactly what I desired for the new website.

I'm hoping you can do this and if so, what your pricing structure is?

Thank you for your time.

Hi Marx

So the question above, was what kind of detailed reports do you send to the client? You answered it partially but no clear indication that a detailed report actually gets sent to the client.

Can you clarify this as that is very important from a client perspective that a report will be sent including where the links are coming from.

Thanks

This part is a bit confusing. 30 links per day?
I am doing 30 sites within 1.5-2 hours using Roboform myself. Not using other software. In the case your VA's are using Roboform inhouse they can get the addon I am using for free if they want.

And in the same sentence I read 1K backlinks per month, 500 sites with 2 backlinks. But then again 30 links per day 30 days is 900.

I have more then 30 sites and with 30 links per day that would mean 1 link per site per day on average.

And you are providing the sites for them to work with? Personally I am subsribed to a lot of packages (not just Angela's and Paul's) and they can be used also by my VA's.

Are the VA also making sure the backlinks are found and are they using other methods too, like social bookmarking, RSS submissions etc.?

I was looking forward to working with Marx and his team. But after 2 weeks of waiting, I guess I just need to look elsewhere. Anyone else had a long wait time? I just find this odd since there are great reviews about the service.

Oh wow, I was hoping to use these services but if you guys aren't hearing anything back from him, that worries me. I looked up his domain from the email address he has listed. Apart from the home page, there is nothing else on the site.. if you click any link it takes you to one of those temp sites saying domain name might be for sale. That's a concern..

It's obviously not a good sign that he's not answered folks for a good while. While there may be a legit reason (family emergency, etc) it indicates that this is most likely a business that "isn't ready for prime time".

I am surprised that someone would come here and advertise their services before they are ready to ramp up and service the increased demand.

I was ready to use 2, maybe 3 VA's from this company.

Oh well...the search for competent, trustworthy and dependable VA's continues!

Everyone:

Apologies for the delays in responding to your queries.

I have missed emails because they didn't appear anywhere, have been flagged by spam by Gmail or have been pushed down the next pages by other new emails.

I have also missed the posts here because I spend most of my time formulating tests and looking for new suitable employees because we have used up 85% of our existing manpower resources. One of our old time clients contacted me 3 weeks ago and wanted to hire back their previous employees.

I will bump this thread on Friday after I have assigned good assistants to everyone who has sent an email requesting to hire an assistant.

Again, my sincerest apologies for this.

Also, an update: I have recently hired a new employee as my personal assistant - this person can perhaps help me improve and expedite client communications.

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Marx

P.S. We lost interest in our website when we lost our grayscaleservices.com domain, a PR6 domain back then, when a renewal email notification was flagged by Gmail as spam, so I saw it 2 weeks after the domain expired and was snatched by NameJet.

We're not focusing on our site but rather: our proprietary tools.

Our Article Spinner/Submitter is found at businessmarketing-solutions.com

Web Builder is here: http://www.businessmarketing-solutions.com/Web-Builder

Our Keyword and Competition Researcher is here: Keyword and Competition Researcher Tool

...and our Duplicate Content Checker is here: Yahoo API-based Duplicate Content Checker

The Article Spinner/Submitter needs to be populated with accounts, Web Builder with themes/templates for each site type, and Keyword and Competition Researcher as well as Duplicate Content Checker debugged further.

We will offer clients who have hired and are currently working with at least 1 full time Grayscale assistant or 2 part time Grayscale assistants free access to these tools once they're working properly and monthly membership subscription access to those who have yet to hire at least 1 full time Grayscale assistant or 2 part time Grayscale assistants.

I've been using an assistant that Marx found for me for about one month now and I've been very pleased.

Marx worked hard to match me with someone based on my needs and it's worked out well. He's caught on quickly, and is very responsive and thorough.

Thanks Marx!

RoD,

Thanks for the awesome review!

For all Warriors, the little road bump RoD mentioned was the start date delay of his assistant, which was scheduled June 24 (Thursday) but was moved to June 28 (Monday).

At RoD, thanks again. Hope you'll hire more assistants real soon!

Best Regards,

Marx

I sent Marx an email with a detailed list of questions including a summary of a daily plan that I need from a VA. I look forward to Marx's response and hiring a VA soon.
