What Is The Warrior Forum Alarm

This is an online tool that will monitor Warrior Forums for the keywords you set.
It sends you an email each time there is a new post with your keyword(s) in title.

Why Should You Use Forum Alarm

• You want to learn about something specific.
• Perhaps you are an expert in something and want to answer the posts related to your expertise so you can promote your signature and name.
• You are looking for all Warrior Special Offers related to specific keywords

How It Works

The software is hosted on my server. You only need to set it once (see image below) and you will start getting email reports every 30 minutes.

It automatically searches the last page of each forum for your selected keywords and sends you an email with links to the posts that contain your keywords in the title.

You can set up to 6 (updated to 10 now) keywords and change it any time.
(If members request more keywords I will increase this number.)

Examples

• List swaps - set keyword "swap" in the Joint Ventures forum to receive reports when there is a new offer for list swap.
• WSO - set keyword "PLR" to get all PLR related WSO posts.
• Learn specific methods - For example, if you want to learn more about "auto blogging", you can specify your keywords "auto blog","autoblog" and my software will follow all new posts related to the specific keywords.
• Product owners - set the name of your product to get alerts each time somebody discusses your business or product.
• Experts - Say you are expert in SEO and want to promote your signature link; Just set the keywords "SEO","becklink","link building" and other SEO terms so you can be alerted and respond to related questions on forum.

Would so many emails overload my inbox ?

No ! I will show you how to set filters in youremail box. This will allow you to receive all your reports in a separate folder for easy forum post management.

Can I change my selected keywords ?

Yes, you may change them an unlimited amount of times.

Is this working only for the Warrior Forum? Can you add other forums ?

Right now we are only monitoring the Warrior Forum, however, over time if there is enough interest for other forums I will make it happen for my members.

You make really great programs, and this is the cream of the crop.

This is not like having to sift through some RSS feeds, and after using this one day, I was able to reply to a post and shortly after I had some sales.

Had I not got the alert, I would have likely never popped on and seen the thread.

The WF Alarm is working like gang busters. You get a steady stream of whatever niche topics you are searching for. Imagine searching the WF one keyword or phrase at a time, it would take a long time and you know it!.

This is definitely something that has to have every member of the Warrior Forum.

As someone who is selling link building service here on Warrior Forum
I usually spend few hours per day answering questions.

What I noticed is that when my answer is closer to the beginning of thread
it have more clicks on my signature link and more sales.

Warrior Forum Alarm is big time saver.

Hey Nikola,

I liked the idea so much I decided to buy your "5 year plan!" It took less than 60 seconds to set up my alerts and I have just received the first.

What I didn't know prior to purchase (and something I LOVE!) is that it combines all alerts into one email (every 30 minutes). That way, I can quickly see the info each email contains and I don't get bombarded with emails.

I thought each alert would be on a separate email and I am so glad it is not... thanks again for such a great idea/product!

I know this will make me money and save a bunch of time too.

I've had the opportunity to test this thing out and I've got to say that it is really cool! I love being able to keep on top of topics inside the Warrior Forum. I can set it so that I'm alerted whenever anyone is talking about me or any of my products. I can also use it to watch for threads that I know I can jump in and add input. Specifically, I like watching for people looking for Wordpress help and List Building help.

This service is awesome and (no offense) much easier to use than the search facility. Use part of a keyword and it and the additional words you might have used.

Not sure if it can find members posts like the WF search to be honest??

Just wanted to leave a quick note.

I was one of the beta testers....unfortunately had some surgery that didn't go so well and I've been in and out of the hospital for last couple of weeks. But here's my thought's so far....

I've been watching, learning and buying on this forum since 2004. There's only a few people on this forum that I've learned produce excellent products and aren't to be missed. Nikola is one of those who's wso's I never miss.

Not only are his products first class....he's a first class marketer going above and beyond when it comes to customer service!

I would blindly recommend any of his products and services.

I've been pretty busy these days and I almost always miss out on wso's that interest me, either I miss it all together or I get in when it's at top dollar....ugh! Nikola's Forum Alarm will put an end to that.

I'll never miss any important conversations on offline marketing anymore!

Targetted research will become a buzzword with Forum Alarm. If you're new to internet marketing, this could be an indespensible tool for you. One of the problems with newbies is information overload. You need to focus on a specific topic until you have a workable understanding of it. Use Forum Alarm to target a keyword....let's say "wordpress" Now you can spend the next week or two getting the low down on every thread that talks about "wordpress". A quick way to learn.

You might say that, the Forum Alarm is "forum marketing" on steroids. Although you might not want to put your sales link or aff link in a forum post, you can edit your sig file to promote your own products or your own landing page for affiliate products. If you can't see the value in that, then....you really need to study up a little more I've built a nice little list through the years at the warrior forum and sold a small product for weekly sales by using the sig file at the warrior forum. I could be much more focused and spend a lot less time by watching posts relevant to my interests.

The warrior forum alarm is probably one of the most innovative products I've seen to date regarding the warrior forum, @avenuegirl said she felt like a spy....I think it's more like a "peeping warrior"

I've learned so much from this forum, I had so many people help me that I'm just really greatful for the warrior forum. The information here is second to none. Maybe you're new to Internet Marketing but know enough to write a book on SEO, but you need ideas. Your brain is stuck, you could try searching through the forum looking for seo posts.....or you could set the Forum Alarm to a couple of keywords for a week to "SEO" or "Search Engine Marketing" grab all the ideas and put them together a small report! You get the idea This is perfect for marketing with small reports.

You also might want to consider using Forum Alarm as a "niche verifier" ....I mean use it to determine the validity of the niche your investigating. Maybe you saw a post "wordpress tiled themes" ....you think you found the jackpot, so you set your alarm "wordpress tiled themes" and let it run for a week. Much to your surprise, a week goes by and nobody else is posting or commenting on "wordpress tiled themes", so you just saved yourself a lot of time and cash because "wordpress tiled themes" is a dud

One more thought.

Use Forum Alarm to help you keep your content current in a blog. Can't beat it for blog posts. I can set the Forum Alarm for "Xsitepro" and I have a steady source of ideas for blog posts. If the forum posts are questions, I can answer the question at the forum and use my answer for a new blog post....doesn't get much easier.

I'm surprised Forum Alarm is limited to 100 users.....quite a small number, but those 100 will have a powerful tool.

Anyway, I highly recommend you at least give it the old "1 dollar" test run... I know you'll enjoy it.

One thought for Nikola....it would be really sweet if you could somehow include the WarRoom !!!

@cyberskyfox -- it is on online application so yeah, it will work with Mac. No download is required (or available). It works its magic straight from the server.

The only "downside" (if you could call it that) is that it is addicting. LOL

Nikola might be offline due to the time difference.

Mac shouldn't be a problem since the service is on his server. You log into a membership type site and tell Forum Alarm what keywords to watch for and some other variables....so yes, works with Mac

This is going to be DA BOMB in finding the gems that we each look for here on the WF without now having to scan page after page... just the other Warriors tip above about the "free" thing as a starting point was a totally kick a$$ idea that I put in my keywords listing too. :-)

1.) Maybe put keywords up to 10 fields?
2.) On the password change page at least, there is no link back to the "main" member area... other then that I'm golden for now.

PS - Thanks for the extra link with the instructions about the Gmail filter! Woo-hoo got mine setup for WF Alarm and also created another for the Warrior Plus notifications that I never knew how to do before.

Yes it works on Windows, Mac, Linux, Mobile phone...whatever has internet and browser.
This is online application like the forum you are reading right now.
So if you can read and use this forum then you can also use Forum Alarm.

It would be better if you can submit feature suggestions through feedback desk (there is link on main settings page when you login to Forum Alarm).
On that way other members can vote what is important for them and I will develop those features that are more important for all members.

On password change page you can click on Forum Alarm logo on top left. That is link to home page.

Small question...

One of my wso's is about paypal and so ive just entered in the keyword paypal but then will that mean i will get a report back with every single wso that uses a paypal button (as then the word paypal is in html form)?

No problem if you don't know as i will find out in 30 minutes but will be annoying if so.

You will get reports from threads that are titled "Paypal" somewhere, and reports only from the forums you select.

So, if for some reason you did not want to know about WSO's that have Paypal in the title, you can select not to get reports from that area of the forum.

To the mac peeps up there - I am a purist and only use things that work with mac. This is an online app, which I have found makes things universal.


FYI - when the forum goes down like it did over the past couple of days, this is the only time you will see a slow down or delay in reports - for obvious reasons. But if the forum is down, you can't really reply to anyone anyway.

EDIT: On the flip side, when the forum comes back online you will be the first to know as the reports start zipping into your box. This was great as I did not waste time checking all day to see if the forum was up or not. I just waited for a report to ding in my mailbox.

I am extremely happy having access to this service now with the search currently disabled. It does the searching for me for the most part.

Annoying thing is unless your keywords are talked about alot then you tend to get the same email over and over again simply because those threads are still on the first page! Still usefull if you have replied and don't check your subscribed threads to see when someone else has replied.
