You're right, the theme for the demo site is an artisteer one - it was the quickest way to put up a blank WP theme to use with the slider plugin.

The theme is using the Featured Content Gallery plugin for the rotating pics on the homepage.

Hi - they are as easy as any other theme to customise if you have an understanding of the WordPress codex.

I haven't tested the theme with the tweaker plugin.

the white headline in the blue box such as recent posts, archieves etc, are they editable/changeable? Can I put my own text in it?

They're wordpress widgets in the sidebar - most of them allow you to change the text but it is dependent on what widget you're using.

What are widgets? What widgets I need to accomplish this task? Is it very complicated & require a lot of work? do I need buy those wigets? Where can I get them?

I am really sorry I am new to this, so dont know much about wordpress. I have been doing all my sites in dreamweaver so wordpress is fairly a new topic for me
