This sounds very interesting but will I start getting emails and orders in foreign languages that I can't support?

If you're lucky ;-). In my personal experience, I have found that if somebody sends you an email in another language... an automated translator, such as Google Language Tools can give you the gist, to be able to help them, with translated their language into English and vice versa. We are not talking about a lot of extra work here, but we are talking about more customers, who thank you for making the effort. I also have discovered that most people that are at your site, know a limited amount of English and will use it when they can, but prefer to use search and read in their own language. Hope that helps, Sincerely, Paul Kleinmeulman Australia |

Paul your product sounds great and it makes sense to me. Unfortunatley I could not support orders in a foreign language they way I'm set up for the services I sell. |

Hi Paul Very interested, a few questions: 1. Is this a script? Can we use it on wordpress? 2. The visitor will need to click the flag and the page will refresh with the translated language? 3. Search engine bot will automatically find the translated page and index them. In this way we get natural foreign keyword traffic, is that correct? Tks & Best Rdgs |

G' Day Emailrevealer, That's the thing, in my experience you're order page doesn't need to be in the foreign language, my order page isn't... and yet they still order. As I said... "I also have discovered that most people that are at your site, know a limited amount of English and will use it when they can, but prefer to use search and read in their own language." Pacman, 1. Yes it is a PhP script, and yes it does work on Wordpress but currently doesn't work on individual blog posts and pages (this is an expected upgrade in the very near future). 2. Correct. 3. Correct. Hope that helps, All the best, Sincerely, Paul Kleinmeulman Australia |

Hi Paul, One question and one observation for you. The question: Do my pages have to be PHP or can they be HTML The observation: I went to your sales page and clicked on the French flag. This gave me a translated version in French. So far so good. I clicked on another flag, it translated into the other language, but in the address bar it still was showing the following: http://www.translatorgator.com/Trans...ecialOffer.php Notice "French-SpecialOffer.php" If I click on any other flag, it still says "French-SpecialOffer.php". Is this a bug? I tried it in both FireFox and IE7 Khal |

Hi Paul, Thanks for your reply, but you forgot to answer my main question. Here it is again: The question: Do my pages have to be PHP or can they be HTML Khal |

G' Day Khal, Sorry mate... I missed that... but the question is already answered in the frequently asked questions. 3) Is it possible to use this script on html and htm pages? Yes, using your .htacess file you can parse this PhP script into your html and htm pages. The simple step by step instructions are in the instruction manual. Hope that helps, Sincerely, Paul Kleinmeulman Australia |

Hi Paul Only 5 days ago I invested in a WordPress Plugin to do the same thing, if only I'd known about Translator Gator!. Still, I could do with Translator Gator for my static pages. Does Translator Gator use more that one translator services? I ask because I know from past experience that some well known translation services will temporarily ban IPs that are performing too many translations. Using 3-4 translation engines, as well as caching, is a way to prevent or lessen the impact of temporary bans. Can proxies be used with Translator Gator so it appears that requests are coming from different IP's ? scorpio9 |

G' Day scorpio9, At the moment it, uses the one service, but you have brought up a good point that the more advanced translation tools have. I will need to include this in a future upgrade. I am not familiar with proxy use, as I do not use proxies. All the best, Sincerely, Paul Kleinmeulman Australia |

Hi Paul, It will be great if you add the choice of the translation service like scorpio mentioned, I am actually in travelling in Asia and get blocked very often by translation service. So I think it's a small issue for people leaving outside of the US/Europe Thanks Halille |

Looks promising, If I have static html pages, would I have to put that code on every page that I want translated or does the spiders crawl and automatically cache in 24 languages.
